All it needed was new rollers and a lock. He told me it would slide like brand new and he had a lock on his truck that would fit it. Lee told me how much it would cost and I was happy with the price so I told him to go ahead and fix it. So today, 5/14/26, I am waiting for my 9a-12n window for someone to show up to adjust my sliding door. Not only did they NOT show up, I also messaged 3 more times asking how much the service call would be and never received a response. In 2023, I had the Rollers replaced and the track replaced at $468.00. When I called, they had my info and said the tech had already left the area, and they would have someone here on Monday. Kinda understand but replacing the locking mechanism that I had already removed and telling them the problem I was hoping for maybe a faster service. Then I feel like the cost was a bit higher than I thought but I wasn't home and my partner I feel was taken advantage of. I already knew the cost of the locking mechanism but couldn't find one available otherwise I would have replaced it myself. Let me begin by saying we were very blessed with finding Nevada Sliding Door and their service rep David. We decided to change out our window for a Slider, and contacted many companies throughout the valley, all of which gave very expensive bids. David came out to our house to provide an estimate. He went over every detail of the project along with specifics on the door and price. I was impressed with how he answered all of our questions. Their price point came in much lower than all the other companies. We made our deposit and the door arrived within 4 weeks. Javier and his assistant were able to complete the demo and door installation in one day and therefore did not have to deal with an open hole in my wall. Javier had to reroute the electrical wiring for an inside and outside outlet and his attention to detail on Drywall taping and texturing as well as painting were phenomenal. The gentleman that worked on the stucco and the pop out was also very detailed and Javier completed the outside painting as well. I was impressed at how the workers cleaned up at the end of each day and we had our Door project completed from start to finish within five days. David stayed in communication with us throughout the project and even gave us a complementary bottle of wine from the company to celebrate our new Slider. This has truly been one of the best experiences we've had with a contractor on a home project and we will definitely use them again for similar projects as well as refer them to friends and family. I decided to give NV Sliding Doors a chance based on a google search and a 10% discount for online booking. I set up the appointment and they came and checked out the door and gave me the pricing. When I asked about the 10% discount, they said were already giving me a 20% discount which I wasn't told nor was it advertised. I asked the owner about the 10% discount and she said that she wasn't aware of it and when I showed her it, I guess it was a marketing error. She wouldn't honor it. Rather than dealing with another apointment, I decided to let them do the work. They did fix the door, however I thought it wasn't very thorough and I ended up cleaning it more and lubricating it better with a lot of dirt remaining that they missed. For what it's worth, I used EZ Sliding Doors in the past and they honored their online special even after I recieved my quote and asked about the discount. They also repaired the door and were much more thorough. They went as far to clean all the glass on the sliding door. All while they were 15% cheaper. I will be calling EZ Sliding Doors next time for any repairs I may need. read more

Called the company and they scheduled my a Sunday which was nice as I work all week. David called 30 minutes before arrival and was in the alloyed 1-4pm range they quoted. David was nice and explained options but I found the pricing to be confusing and seemed like he was just pulling numbers out of the air. I showed him the $189 special from the coupon in the Home magazine but was quoted $338 for track cleaning and new rollers. Still unsure how the price jumped so much but I needed to get the door repaired. I understand I selected the covered ball bearings which brought the price up, but from $189 to $338??? And I never did see what he installed so I am hoping I got what I paid for. David was quick to do the repair - less than 30 minutes. Although the door slides easy now, it doesn't lock (see photos) anymore. In fact, the door doesn't close all the way now like it did prior to the repair. I have to use a stick in the track so the door cannot be opened. I was also a bit disappointed the whole track was not cleaned - just the slider track and it wasn't done to what I thought I was paying for. No mention from David about cleaning the screen door track. Does this company warranty their work or will they come and fix it? We shall see. Once David was done with the work, he asked me to leave a 5 star Google review and wanted me to do it while he stood there. It was very awkward. This is not a professional thing to do. He said it was for a contest at the company. Because it was awkward, I did it but deleted it the next day. Asking for a review WHILE YOU WATCH ME WRITE IT is weird and very uncomfortable. Came in to get scheduled for an estimate for my sliding glass patio door. My door was super tough to open and close and my screen was just destroyed. I was greeted by Liz who got me scheduled quickly and found me a spot that same week. On the day of the estimate the technician came out and went through everything for my door on what I would need to have it working like brand new. I got the work done and he was very thorough on what he was doing and what I could do to maintain the door all year.
