Don't waste your time. I'm going through a difficult time and need to get out of my current lease and into a new one ASAP. I spoke to one person over the phone who was very down to earth and friendly, he made no promises, but made me feel comfortable enough to come in to meet. Upon arrival and introductions he handed me off to someone who had a completely different story and wouldn't budge at all to help me out, when I was committed to getting into another Honda lease. They wouldn't believe how much I was paying in my current lease (even though I had the documentation) and told me I could never pay that price again - mind you, I only got into my car in October of 2011! They thought they were doing me a favor by taking my current lease off of my hands, but wouldn't at all budge in helping me get into a new lease with a comparable payment - when I outright said I'd be willing to pay a bit more than I was. I did my research, I knew what I was looking for and what I was capable of doing and got NO help from Babylon Honda what so ever. read more

I really wanted the car in blue and even though they didn't have the exact one I wanted on the lot, they were able to bring it in and it took less than a week for me to get my dream car. update 12 18. spoke to john the service mgr. he was very concerned and listened to my issues. wasnt happy this happened. promised it woudl be corrected and it was. well at least one issue. the other issue i handled myself. he was very apologetic and stated he wanted my business. treated me very well and fixed it at no charge and gave me 2 gift certs for my trouble. class act. like i said previously, they pride themselves on customer care and they proved it. my advice remains though---ask questions, go over your findings and make sure they do as they say. But i have to commend them for making things right. read more

At the beginning of the process of leasing a new car, I found the manager and salesperson very nice and helpful. When they didn't have the color I wanted, and had to locate one, I never heard from them. I had given them a dp and after several phone calls that I made to the dealership to cancel my order, I finally received one voicemail back in the evening, when I was not available. The next day I called 4 times and was told that the entire staff was in a meeting---all day. To date, no call back. I will never return to Babylon Honda. read more

I would give a lesser rating if able. My wife went in to talk about a CRV 2011, back in 2011, worked out a payment and thought everything was set, they needed a day to get the color she wanted, which was fine so they had her put the first payment down. Next day they told her "oh your payment is double" when she questioned the sales rep saying she signed a contract for a monthly price he laughed said sorry and there was nothing he could do. She asked for her money back and it was a problem. Took me to go there after a week of her calling and being transfered to vm everyday to get her money back. She was done with Honda, until we went to Atlantic Honda, explained what happend here to David. He was able to put her in the same car for the price she wanted. Loved Atlantic Honda so much I got my 2012 Civic from them. Don't let Babylon Honda destroy your faith in the Honda product, head over to Atlantic Honda on Sunrise and talk to David. read more

If I could, I would give this dealership no stars. Do not patronize this dealer. Thaddeus Brewer entered into an agreement with us for a Honda HRV lease at the end of August 2017. Mr. Brewer indicated that they have HRVs in stock and asked us for our color preference. When I didn't hear from him for about 5 days about the status of the car delivery, he indicated that he has no '17 HRVs and is calling various dealerships about obtaining this car. No problem, he assured us, you will get the car. Didn't hear from him for another 5 days, and he said he can't get the car and he will give us a 2018 at no additional monthly cost (will honor our original agreement). Then, he calls me on 9/11/17 and tells me he can give us a 2017 HRV (Higher end model) with a significant increase in monthly payments. Brewer tells me the agreement for a 2018 HRV is off the table. Thinking that I could speak with a Manager who could assist with this matter, I spoke with the lease Manager, Jason, and he said he was very unhappy with the way Brewer handled this matter and that he will talk with him. Jason did not resolve anything except to say he will speak with Brewer. By the way, I never received a copy of my contract. They had us wait two weeks, and gave us all these nonsense stories and did nothing to rectify this matter. I hope no one has the same terrible, frustrating experience that we had with Babylon Honda. read more

Terrible!! Took 3 hours to put the wrong part on my car. Then additional time to get the right part. Service advisor didn't really answer questions and wasn't friendly. Every question I asked, he would barely answer them. He would just say, "oh that's this." I felt like I was pulling to get any sort of information from the guy. I know very little about cars, so please explain it to me so I know. I don't think he smiled once. If you're going to be in car sales and service, you have to be at least a little bit friendly. The only upside were the comfortable chairs and the interior was nice. I was forced to go to this dealership because of my roadside assistance. I'm going to switch to AAA and make sure I go to a place that is more knowledgeable, friendlier, and won't rob my pocket book. read more

I'm reviewing Honda Sales & Service. I'm shocked to read such bad reviews for this place since my experience was and still is amazing with them. I bought my brand new Honda civic in June, and it has been everything the sales woman said it would be and more. My biggest concern about buying the civic after years of having trucks was its ability to handle in the snow. In the wake of the recent snowstorms this car has been handling amazingly and I couldn't be happier. The sales woman was absolutely correct about how great this car is. The sales and financing staff was great and went above and beyond to get me the best deal for my trade in, which absolutely blew me away with how well they did. Then recently, when I made a trip back to the sales dept. to drop a friend off who also bought a civic, the same sales woman knew exactly who I was and greeted me with a wonderful hug and follow up questions about my experiences with the car. The service dept. is also especially wonderful. I've brought the car in for routine maintenance and the staff is always so friendly, inviting, and I have yet to have to wait to be seen. The waiting room area is state-of-the-art and comfortable, and the service staff is knowledgeable and informative, and I could tell they were trying to save me money. Again, I'm super shocked to hear such complaints about poor experiences with Babylon Honda. I'm telling everyone I know who's in the market for a car to go there. read more

Worst service department ever. Every time I have been there I have been told that the service was not covered under my warranty. Then every time it was verified and covered. They are dishonest and their service advisor Steve is horrific, does not know what he is doing.Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else. Very disappointed.The no haggle price advertised on the internet is minus 10% not even sure why other then to get people in. The car I was interested in was advertised at $18178 the price at the showroom was $19995 plus a made up fee of $795. It's mentioned in the small print on the website but not in the email I received from Luisa Garfinkel the General Sales Manager. Although I did not end up getting my car through them, my experience there was very pleasant. I got to test drive the car I wanted, and no one was pushy at all. Car dealers are usually just trying to get you in anyway they can and this was not like that. If they had given me a better price for my trade in I would have went through them. I leased a Honda Civic from this location about a year ago. It was a great experience so when it came to get an oil change and inspection, I decided to try to service center. (Because I only drive a few miles a day, it was a year into my lease when I had my first oil change). I showed up a few minutes before my appointment and was greeted by a friendly advisor (I think that's what they call them). He quickly got my checked in, told me it would be 30-45 minutes and walked me to the waiting room. 20 minutes later he was done. He even checked my tires (the tire light was on) and told me they were fine and showed me how to turn the light off. Since I have a service contract that comes with the lease (which I forgot I had) there was no charge for any of it. All around good experience read more

This a review for babylon honda service department ....I bought a 2009 honda civic si from them it's a great car has great mileage for the year but let the buyer beware! As soon as you leave their showroom they do not care about anything you have to say or anything that happens to the car, I had the car for about 10,000 miles and the clutch is going bad ......I got a quote from a different honda for 1800$ plus tax ...this is rediculous I have to call babylon maybe they can help me right? Wrong they quoted me at 1700$ plus tax saying there's nothing they can do it's a wearable item.....since I've owned the car within 10k miles I had to replace the brakes clutch tires and exhaust....that's a lot for 10,000 miles THEY WONT HELP YOU don't buy from them !!!!!!!!!!! Please take your money elsewhere. The sales person was very rude, and declined our request for a test drive, saying he wanted to speak about the #s first. This is the only dealership where there is no minimum pretense of courtesy. All other delaerships were only happy to get us into a car for a test drive. read more

they have held on to my $100.00 deposit for several weeks after I decided not to buy my vehicle from them.I made several attempts to speak with a manager but was disconnected by the female taking my call. I have now reported it to my credit card company as a disputed bill. donot ever give cash or check for deposit. I too decided to trade in my vehicle in which they offered me a low price.when they offered me 1000.00 more I was glad until they raised the price of the car that 1000.00 . when I complained about the final price they just gave me the regular salesmans BS runaround. I will be visiting the dealer in person. P.S. I went to another dealer with no BS. They gave me the 1000 more fore my car and took off another 600 off the new car.They also gave me a set of all weather mats for free. Shame on you Babylon. read more

They gouged me on the price since the car value is buried on a line item mid-page when you do a lease. I leased a 2016 Pilot Touring from them. Long story short: The car's advertised at $43,870, it's MSRP on the window sticker is $42,970 and I verbally agreed with their salesman Eli's offer of $42,000. After I asked about leasing, they came back nearly $100 higher per month claiming I couldn't get a low interest rate. I negotiated them back down some and they were sure to point out the capitalized cost to me at signed, which they implied included the higher interest rate. Later, I noticed in the paperwork when looking for information on payments that they changed the agreed upon price from $42,000 to $45828.24, thus padding their pockets with nearly 4 grand of money. For those interested in the details, the "high interest" they said I qualified for turned out to be only 3.79%. This is a copy of the email I sent them: Hi, I leased a 2016 Pilot Touring edition from you last month, I have a couple issues. First, I've yet to receive a statement and just received a book in the mail after the first due date with payment coupons but no information about my member number from TFCU. Luckily for me, I started combing through the paperwork to see if I missed the member number somewhere so I can at least get into their website and find them. While I didn't find the member number, I did find that you changed the agreed upon price of the car in the lease deal (a line item buried in the middle of the page) from the verbally agreed upon amount that your salesman Eli stated--$42,000--to $45828.24! Eli's voicemail from the day I bought it indicated that the lease amount was a bit higher because of my credit and the interest rate is high. Well, lo and behold, according to the terms on the paper, my interest rate is a very reasonable 3.79% ($4583.68/39 rent cost)/($47185.72 net capitalized cost + $27199.40 residual value) * 2400. So the "extra cost" that you "had to charge me" was simply you writing in a price nearly $4,000 above what we discussed, $2858.24 over the MSRP and $1958.24 over the advertised price on your website! My payment would have been roughly the same as it is now with a 7% interest rate, a figure I calculated when I asked you over the phone was the residual value was and I figured this was the "high rate" you alluded to. Instead, I have come to find that the rate is much lower and in fact you just padded the sales price substantially. I'm sure you know the FTC, among other agencies, frowns upon bait and switch tactics like this and in fact there are federal laws explicitly prohibiting increasing the price based on credit worthiness. I am kicking myself for falling for this crap, especially since I work in finance and this is the third vehicle I've leased or bought from you in 3 years--neither of which, if you want to look for a silver lining, resulted in you egregiously screwing me over. Needless to say, I guess that's not enough to fully trust your dealership (always read the ride print, eh?) and you're going to have a hell of time getting me ever to step foot in your place again. If I were walking around with an extra $98 per month of your money in my pocket, I'm sure you'd feel the same way. I'll give you one opportunity to explain this and remedy the situation before I start contacting Government agencies and a lawyer. Or you can smile and celebrate how you screwed over a lifetime Honda owner and bask in the great feeling that you've permanently ended our relationship and believe me, my embarrassment over failing to catch this does not exceed my willingness to make sure everyone I know avoids you guys like the plague. Is that worth an extra four grand over three years to you? I may be a fool for believing your interest rate story but even a fool realizes that bilking a customer who's given you 100 grand in business in the last three years isn't exactly a sound business strategy. John was very professional and knowledgeable, yet not overly pushy, dishonest and manipulative as others we have encountered. It was a refreshing change. There isn't anything bad I can say about Babylon Honda I called up Thursday evening interested in a Honda CRV the gentleman that pick up the phone was very nice, I have been shopping for cars for a long time, and never felt as comfortable as I did with Babylon Honda, he wasn't pushy he didn't try to get my phone number, he said the car that I wanted was available and if I wanted to come down they would be open until 9:00 PM he also state he would give me $200.00 off any car I choose, so I went down to look, I got lost and wound up getting to the dealership around 8:30. they were so nice, I met with John Ligio who answered every question I had, he took me outside to show me the car and explained everything about the car in detail he was great , I went back inside and I explained to John that I have been searching for a car for a while now and had bad experience with the dealerships I went to , with that he called owner of the company over who again was a perfect gentleman. By now it was after 9:00 PM no one made me feel like lets hurry this up they wanted to go home I think if I stood there until 11:00 PM it wouldn't have bothered them this is how nice everyone was at Babylon Honda, As I was talking to John, Faith Egan walked over Just when I was telling John the problems I had with the Finance Manager at the other dealerships I have been to , Well guess what Faith was the Finance mgr for Babylon Honda and my Guardian Angel , Faith took me in her office and made me feel so comfortable she asked me if I would give her until tomorrow so she can see what she can do for me I told her ok and I would speak to he tomorrow , I walked out of Babylon Honda that night without a knot in my stomach I wasn't nervous . The next day Faith called me and told me she had good news for me she had my loan approved at an unbelievable rate she also called my Insurance company and had my Insurance transferred to he new car , I didn't have to do anything , I went to Babylon Honda after work they had my car ready all I had to do was go in and sign the paperwork....It was perfect .. i have purchased over a dozen auto's in my life and this was the absolute worst experience ever!!! avoid this place. the car wasnt ready as promised, the repairs were not completed as promised, then after negotiating a price for my trade-in it reduced the amount I need to pay in total, thus the certified check caused an overpayment. They promised to cut a check the next day, I went after work to pick it up and it wasnt ready and no one called to tell that. Next day they call to say I have to wait 10 days for my check (for down payment) to clear. In 2014 it takes 10 days to clear a check?!?! they are scam artists - stay away from this place read more

The staff is amaz-balls. Yup... I said that. Amaz-balls. After making an appointment at Honda in BayShore and then upon confirming my appt time morning of they said I had no appointment??? I called Babylon Honda and spoke to Amanda. -so cheerful and happy. Doesn't seem like she hates her life like every other employee at every other business these days.. helped me make my appt for that day and was extremely accommodating and made nice conversation. (Deserves a raise)(no I don't know her, she didn't put me up to this, she's just a good employee and deserves a raise). I got there and the place was super clean and the waiting room was very inviting. The guy that helped me with the paperwork explained everything to me and was very detailed in what I needed to do for follow up. The waiting room chairs were super comfy (great investment on honda's part) and was happy there were some tvs to watch but it wasn't overwhelming with electronics. The place was classy and tasteful. Certainly the nicest service center I've been to. I'm a little sad that I have someone at home who does most work on my car... otherwise Babylon Honda would see me for my every car need! Great customer service! Informative! And I really enjoyed getting my car"report card"- it made me the customer who doesn't understand cars able to understand what was going on with my car-ya know??! read more

I found what I thought was a great used car, so I went to check it out. The car drove great! After this is where it went downhill working with this dealer. They were very pushy about their expensive maintenance package; they let my mechanic look at the car (had to give a $500 deposit to do this) but then denied there were issues with the car (some of which you can see, such as the uneven wear on the tires); they did not disclose the fact that their paperwork for refunds was only processed on Wednesdays, and I did not get any paperwork showing that I would get my deposit refunded. In addition, the sales manager was abrupt with me, but he finally showed me my refund paperwork and gave me copies after i asked for them and insisted I should get paperwork (every other retailer has given me paperwork/receipt to show my refund). They came down on price, which was a plus, but that took serious doing (their list price is waaaaaaay over Blue Book value), and they tried to push financing even after I kept saying I had cash. At least I finally did get my refund, took three days to show up on my account. And the fact that they knowingly have a used car on their lot that is overpriced and has mechanical issues (needs a belt, exhaust is leaking, needs tires and possibly alignment) does not make me ever want to do business with them, which is a shame because Hondas are great cars. read more

went in for airbag recall. Decided to have oil change and tires rotated. After awhile the service rep said that a lug nut on one front tire and one back tire were stuck and they couldn't get them off and the tires would need to be repaired. Total cost over $500. I said I would wait and then they pulled out the scare tactics. I was told it was dangerous to drive that the tires could come off - even though they couldn't get the tires off. I told them to retighten everything and was again told well they may not be able to get the individual lug nuts tight again. I said I'd risk it and was then told I'd have to sign a waiver. Scare tactics through and through. Went to my regular mechanic and was told if it was true it never should have cost so much to repair and that it wasn't true. My wife went to Honda in Levittown and they didn't try to pull anything with her. Will go there from now on. read more

i see i'm not alone. we had a complaint since Jan 2014 on the tires on our 2011 CR-V, they worn out at 23,000 miles. apparently that is a KNOWN issue (cars.com~~Owners of late-model Honda CR-Vs have complained to us, for example, that they had to replace all four tires around 20,000 miles.) no one in the dealer would deal with this problem and knowing our tires were at "legal limit" they allowed us to keep driving on them saying no they are fine, NOT FINE next service nothing said & when my husband looked at the paperwork they were red lighted and car was going back off lease. so for the first time EVER i'm suppose to change tires on car with known issues for this and my neighbor same thing with her car being bought 2 weeks after mine. (she went to jeep for her new car) Not only that when i did go to replace the tires from someone else, turned out my wheel lock key was missing from the kit & i had to pay $20 to have the locks broke. so i was driving on bad tires with no way to get the tire off should i have gotten a flat. said they would reimburse me for that, still waiting. Way to keep a customer who always had a Honda since 1992. I now am on my 6th Subaru and back to a very caring and appreciative dealer. These ppl could careless about your car or you. Neither could Honda Corp or bridgestone who clearly said those tires were not right for that model (all wheel drive) Just got a call back from a salesman trying to help me at least get my $20 back since they admitted the key for the wheels was gone and nope service manager wont deal with it. Even the salesman was shocked and disappointed in how ANY Customer would be treated like that. Honda should be ashamed of themselves. read more
