My wife took my 2011 Honda Civic LX to this Honda dealership to have some recall work done to the front passenger airbag. She told me that the waiting area was nicer than any other Honda dealership that she visited. The appointment scheduling was also very flexible, since no other dealer that she called was able to perform the repair until the following week. On September 10, 2019 I had lots of repairs done to my Civic at this dealership. The service advisor was very helpful and tried to save me some money on the repairs. I also purchased an extended warranty from this dealership to cover the cost of future repairs. A few weeks later my wife took my Civic back to this dealership to replace a sensor that monitored the tire pressure. On Friday morning, November 15, 2019, I brought my Civic back to this dealership on a tow truck due to a wheel axle that broke. On Thursday, January 16, 2020 my wife took my Civic back to this dealership for its next service appointment. They replaced a leaking gear box and a defective timing belt, and performed a wheel alignment. They also replaced various fluids that were necessary for the safe functioning of the car. The cost of the repairs wasn't cheap, but my warranty covered most of it. Based on my experience with Honda dealerships, I like Babylon Honda more than any other place that I have used for the following reasons: 1. They never tell me that they don't have the time to work on my car. Not only do they fix known problems, but they even look for potential problems. 2. They give me very detailed reports about all the work that they do, and clearly explain why everything was necessary. If they don't think that something is urgent, they let me know. 3. The quality of the work is excellent. I have never had to return to this dealership to fix the same problem. 4. I never have to wait for an unreasonable amount of time for service. The service waiting area is also nicer than anything else I've seen, with lots of refreshments, free Wi-Fi, and a quiet room to boot. 5. Everyone who works here is very friendly, and makes me feel like a VIP. They even arranged for me (and my wife) to go home in a loaner car at my last two service appointments. That being said, I think that a partnership with a car wash place wouldn't be a bad idea. The following are some smart money-saving tips that I learned over the years: If your car is getting older but has less than 100,000 miles on it, you can often save money on repairs by purchasing an extended warranty from the dealership that you use. Extended warranties on newer cars aren't worth it most of the time, since the contract premiums often end up costing more than the covered repairs. To save money on collision repairs, it is a good idea to get a quality dash cam and lots of other safety features installed in your car. A quality dash cam should have front and rear-facing cameras, and should be able to continue recording even after your engine is turned off. The worst dealership I've had to deal with. Went with my girl to lease a new car, I know from personal experience that it takes a while when you're getting a car so I was prepared for a few hours but 6.5 hours nah and my girl had already filled out the paperwork and spoke with the finance guy the day before but when we get there the car he quoted her for had been sold which still wasn't a big deal. The salesman was cool really liked him it was the finance dept little rally watched dude walk around with the file for 2 hours. To put icing on the cake after all the paperwork was signed and keys given to her we had to wait 30 more minutes just to get plates. My suggestion avoid this place. Here's a horror story and it's unbelievably true. My 72 year old mother walks into this dealership to buy her leased CRV outright. She walks out w 5.5 percent loan for 5 years and a maintenance package which she had no idea she agreed to!! So on top of just buying this vehicle for $26,800. She also gets to pay $5,500 in interest and a $3,400 maintenance package which she didn't want nor know that she agreed to!! All she wanted to do was buy this CRV outright!!! She has the best credit score you can have and has the money to buy this vehicle outright!!! If I could rate this dealership with a zero I certainly would. I feel that they lack courtesy, professionalism and respect. I also feel that they lack people and customer service skills as well. I find them extremely rude and not very honorable or trustworthy. They do not return phone calls (5) or messages (2) left for them. There behavior is deplorable, morally outrageous and extremely offensive. My mother who is 78 years old, Jeopardized her safety, health and life coming out during this pandemic, suffering from severe heart disease, lung disease and COPD because she desperately needed a car because hers was totaled last month. My Mother went to this dealership On 5/13/20 because my Aunt worked for Babylon Honda 30+ years ago. My Mom expected to be treated with the upmost courtesy and respect but that certainly did not happen. My Mom was willing to leave a deposit of $5000,00 or more to purchase a used or new vehicle and found one online. The Salesman Ron originally promised that whatever car she chose would be delivered Saturday 5/16/20, unfortunately Ron never bothered to return any of her phone calls or messages that she left with Phil, or Mike. I also telephoned this dealership twice on her behalf The first time was with Mike who promised to give Ron the message and the second call, unfortunately I had the un pleasurable experience speaking with someone named Juice, who claimed he was the manager. I feel that He had a huge attitude problem and could not manage his way out of a paper bag opened at both ends. All Juice did was make excuses for the horrible and horrendous ordeal they put my Mother through. No apologies or legitimate reasons for acting in bad faith. You would think or believe that a dealership that there sole purpose is to sell cars would at the very least get back to there customers in a prompt, professional and efficient manner but not these clowns. I also feel that they do not follow through on any and all of there claims and promises, which I feel tend to be false and just downright lies. Today is 5/18/20 and still no calls! I feel that they may use bait & switch sales tactics, totally unethical and unscrupulous advertising practices. For the record I feel that the online advertised prices that actually enticed us to visit the showroom in the first place to purchase the vehicle, unfortunately upon arrival these advertised and quoted prices were not honored nor did they actually exist. After finding a vehicle and getting in touch with a sales man I went about 4 days of texting and calling with no answer or call back. Basically begging them to take my money. I should've seen that red flag and took my business elsewhere but they had the vehicle I wanted at the right price and they said they could get the loan done under my terms. Finally after calling 3-4 times a day they decided to take me seriously and for a moment I thought everything was good. They were supposed to get my truck placed under the credit for my corporation and not under my personal credit and I was assured it would be handled. I drove 3 hours from Maryland to pick up the truck only to find out the the tailgate was broken. They said they'd honor that so I won't complain on that notion as of yet. The reason for the 0 rating is that a month later I get a credit alert that my personal credit has a new account. Surprised and confused I check my credit and low and behold there is the truck from Babylon Honda front and center. This infuriated me because the entire point of the transaction was to have my business liable and not myself. Now my credit has dropped 20 points. I have over 32k added onto my personal debt and they have almost guaranteed the possibility of me not being able to buy a home next month as planned. I made sure I was 100% clear about what I wanted and they chose to do what they felt necessary to get a deal done. After calling them and asking them to make it right they basically told me that there hands were washed of my issue and they couldn't do anything. Ron the general manager and Anthony I'm finance both made it clear that once you buy the vehicle you're on your own. From the way I was treated it's a clear fact that this establishment doesn't care about the actual customer. they just want your money. I'd warn anyone to be careful of these guys. They play the role very well. You'll think they have your back but it's just a front to sell cars. If I could give negative stars I would. My daughter was in the market for a newer car. After doing much research we decided on a Honda Accord . Then monitored the internet and car gurus for a while to find the best deal . We settled on a couple of cars at West Babylon Honda and spoke to salesman Phil Grant. On our second visit to the dealership we saw a car that had just come to their inventory . We tried to make a deal with another salesmen. ( Phil was off). Didn't really like what he was offering . We left and did some calculating . We went back the next day and spoke to Phil and made an offer We went home with a the car my daughter loves and happy with the price we paid . My suggestion is do your research and be prepared . One thing I didn't like was that the price on the website was 10% lower than the actual price . 3 days and still waiting for a $500 credit card refund. We put a deposit down and bought a new car. Did not take delivery of the car because it was not in good condition. Instead of doing the right thing and taking it off the lot, they tried selling it to us and having parts replaced and cleaned without success. It was a mess. Apparently, they are the only business left on the planet that can not do credit card refunds immediately. Seems they only do them on Wednesdays. However, I still don't have a refund and today is Wednesday. When I called, my salesman told me it might be done tomorrow. Well, that's a Thursday! On top of all this craziness, they made my husband DRIVE the receipt back to them. Why? Stay away. I had an insurance binder, a bank check and was all ready to drive home with a new car and they botched the sale miserably. They don't know the meaning of good customer service. A good dealership would have seen the deep scratch on the console and the stains on the leather and said, you know, let's pull this car from the sale and find you a new one. But, no. Experience was excellent from beginning to end. Started as a truecar inquiry with Stephanie calling me back. She gave me enough information to get me in the door as I was looking to replace a Odyssey lease that I had from North Shore Honda (who were terrible). I had 2 months left and honestly did not want to deal with the previous dealership. I knew exactly what I wanted so it was all about the numbers and the deal I would get from Babylon. Tom Freyer was excellent and got me everything that I needed including the right price for my new lease on a 2018 Touring model. They got me out of my previous lease with 2 months left and getting me into this new car was seamless. Getting a new car can be tedious and most ppl already did all the research on dealer invoice and MSRP, so it was nice to get right to a good price and a decent lease deal. I'm a long time Honda own. Over the last 18 years I owned nothing but Hondas, around 7 in total. I just to let you know how disappointed I was with Babylon Honda service I just experienced today 3/12/22. Took our 2017 Honda CR-V for oil change, tire rotation and NYS inspection today car has only 26,000 miles on it. Got a text from Babylon Honda stating the car needed additional work within 15 minutes of dropping it off. Called them up and spoke to Steve Ferchak, the service advisor, and he stated they heard squealing coming from brakes and in order to pass inspection we need a $300 front brake job. We never heard the brakes squealing and never felt that brake pedal going down nor any issue with stopping the car. We told them not to do the the brakes and not do the inspection either. Steve informed since his paperwork said do inspection we had to pay for and that we failed the inspection do to front brakes being worn out. He told us if we didn't pay they wouldn't release the car back to us even though they didn't do the inspection. We have a regular mechanic that we use for all repairs and took the car to him. He told us the brakes were low and shouldn't have caused an inspection failure, he also said Honda should have provided a failure notice from NYS inspection stating the car failed. We were not given that by Honda service. Basically Babylon Honda Service tried to rip us off for two inspections and a $300 brake job that our mechanic said should be around $200 dollars. Of course, different services stations have different hourly rates. The bottom line is we didn't need a brake job and had to pay for 2 inspections. Babylon Honda is just trying to rip off customers. Will never go back to Babylon Honda for service of our cars and wouldn't recommend them, as they are going to rip you off. One additional point: since 2011, all Honda CR-V come from the factory with fully synthetic oil. When we looked at our receipt, Babylon Honda replaced the oil with regular non synthetic oil. One would think they would replace with the mfg recommended oil. Now I need to look at replacing the oil since they put in the wrong oil. It will not harm the engine but it is the point that Babylon Honda is not replacing the car with the correct type of oil. read more

On top of the reg fees , doc and inspec fee . They also conveniently added on a 3,495 extended warranty . !!!! While I still have my power train warranty for 5 years or 60,000 miles . Making my car damn near 20,140 before any finance charges .I leased this car through another dealer and it was my mistake to not stick with them for financing it out .honda told me I could use any dealer . My fault for being naive I've never done this before and I guess it showed . I was chum in shark infested water. I don't know how these people sleep at night . Must be nice thinking people can shit out all this money being a single mother . Disgusting . Will never step foot in here again . Welp the bullshit continues , after my horrible experience here I came back with in days to sign the cancellation for the extended warranty they tried so hard to get me to keep . This is a review of an experience shopping for a pre-owned CR-V. I arrived at the dealership on a Monday afternoon looking at a few 2011 CR-V's. The one I settled on was red with 36,000 miles on it, and it was listed at $18,000. I was initially offered $5,000 for my trade in, but when I let them know that I had secured an offer of $8,000 for my trade in from Huntington Honda, and that Huntington was offering a CR-V with fewer miles for $17,500, The manager came over and asked if he would match the price would we be in business, very forward, but not quite to the point of being pushy. I told him that my wife would have to come by to check out the car, but I believe we would be in business at that price point. The wife and I decided to wait and shop around a little bit Less than a week later, the price on that same CR-V drops to $16,000 on cars.com. I called about coming back and closing the deal, and suddenly my trade in also lost $1,000 in value. It is these types of shady dealings that make it difficult to trust used car salesmen. This place does shady business. I got a oil change and they shorted me 1.5 quarts. It made the engine cut out at high RPM. Thought it was a serious problem . I thought it was weird it only started after the oil change. I added 1.5 quarts and the problem was gone. Glad I did not bring it back to them. They could of hammered me for anything. They also tried to sell me a serpentine belt. Little did they know I changed it two days before. I called out the mechanic he showed me a beat up belt (wasn't mine). Not realizing the dealership was under new ownership, I figured I'd return since my lease was nearing its end. Multiple salespersons had been contacting me months prior to my lease-end to try to get me out early, so I thought the process would be easy...I have never been more wrong about something in my life. I walked in having a '18 Si and was hoping to eventually walk out with a '20. There was only one left on the lot so I figured "great, they'll really want to work with me to get rid of it." Wrong again. Over a week into the "deal," the salesman I was dealing with (who called me many times before I had even physically gone to the dealership) seemed to have lost my number because I couldn't seem to get my calls returned once we started the financial process. Every time I went there I needed a new document and the story changed multiple times. My credit was ran through 3 different financial groups even though I was told it would only be ran through 1, making my credit score plummet even further. Numbers fluctuated as much as my blood pressure and almost 2 weeks later, I decided to walk away and go to a different dealership. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere and support a different business, even though I have been a loyal Honda owner for the past 6 years. Brought my car in this morning for an oil change and a new battery. The car system indicated that it needed Service A12 which is for the oil change. Service advisor indicated that it also needed tires and brakes which I declined for now. When I got the car back it had every dashboard light on. Not sure how that can happen????? Now i am waiting for them to diagnosis the problem.... Update, I suggested that perhaps since the battery died when I brought it in that could that have been the reason for every light to be on and the service guy said no that could not happen... Amazing they just returned the car to me saying that it was possible for the battery to cause that and that the dashboard lights had all been cleared and they weren't charging me for the diagnosis... hoping for the best.... read more

Went to Babylon Honda on a recommendation. Found them to be efficient and friendly. Everything was fine in the 3 1/2 years I leased my Pilot. Two things went wrong my key fell apart in my hand and my lift gate would not open. The key I put in a baggy and used the other. The lift gate I had repaired it was warranty. When I leased I asked two specific questions. One was how much damage am I allowed because I park in train parking lot. I was told $500 a panel. Two how much mileage. 15000 a year was recommended. Ok everything else was standard stuff I have leased many many cars. First one at Honda though. When it was time to return the car I kept getting notices from a place called Fusion. I am thinking it is an outside company Honda uses to pick up the car for them. When I went to lease another car at Chevy that salesperson reinforced the thought by saying Fusion will pick it up without a charge no problem. As it turns out Fusion owned my lease. Apparently HONDA SELLS THEM THE LEASES. So of course their was a bill a mile long for broken key....scratches...ding dent....all normal wear and tear except the faulty key manufactured. How else does a place called Fusion survive? I was so upset I fought it all the way. Especially since I brought it back with 15000 miles less than I leased for. They got a perfect auto with 26000 miles that was 31/2 years old. So... my complaint is FULL DISCLOSURE! Honda was deceptive. I thought I leased with Honda. It was buried it the lease but and brushed passed so I never knew. I had to pay $1000 to Fusion in the end for the ding dent that I would have had fixed on my own had I known! On 4/29/17 Saturday morning around 7am I went to get my 2010 Honda Accord serviced. On Saturday evening I drove off the lot with a 2014 Honda Accord EX-L.... How do you ask? His name is Thaddeus Brewer, the best Sales Guy ever. I met him at the Service Center and he overheard me talking to Donna (another great person who is at the Service Center) about me walking home since my car would be there for a while. I was setting up my fit bit and almost left, Thaddeus called out to me and spoke about how great it would be if I was in a newer vehicle.... me being skeptical about everything I said if he could make it happen, then I would give it a shot. He said he would call me once he reviewed some information.... This is where I said to myself, it's not going to happen. Sure enough Thaddeus called me around 9am as promised... He first asked me about my walk, we had a laugh about it then he said he would like to show me some cars. Because Thaddeus knew I did not have my car, he actually picked me up.... who does that. From there, that is when all the magic happened, Thaddeus was such an honest guy, he walked me through the process and made sure I was aware of everything. He even missed his lunch break. He drove me back home to ensure I had all necessary information because he was very confident with the process. He knew I was going to leave with a newer vehicle. Sure enough I did... and loving the car. Everyone during this process was great. Donna the Service Advisor at the Service Center was really nice when I came to clean out my old car. The Finance guy was awesome because he was able to work with numbers. Office Manager was also great because she was friendly and kept the positive vibes throughout. Most importantly Thaddeus made everything come together for me, he was very personable and honest. He did not pressure me like your typical sales guys (perception). But rather he made me feel like an individual. His Customer Service was 'Beyond my Expectations'. This is my second time buying a Honda from Babylon Honda and I was very pleased both times. I was a customer for near twenty years. I bought four cars from them. Service made me walk away. They are very irresponsible and only care about taking the money from the customers. They kept my car for over a week. I had to call during the entire week to know what was going on. When they finally answered, the car was not fixed. According to them, they were waiting for me to send a text given the ok to do the work. I responded to the only text they sent to me the same day I delivered my car to them. Spent a few weeks looking for a Honda Odyssey. Sent out a few emails to local dealers to see if there online inventory lined up with their actual inventory (1 dealer said they had the specific configuration I wanted, I got a baby sitter for the kids, drove there and they didn't have the car and were trying to sell me something else- I Left). The worst!!! Ever since they have been under new ownership this place has gone to crap. I have excellent credit and Phil was so angry that I wanted to go with my own bank that offered a lower interest rate because he wouldn't make a profit off of it. After that he had me waiting for 3 hours and finished the paperwork in the show room instead of his office. He was all nice when he thought he'd screw me over but after he realized I'm not dumb he had such a bad attitude I should have walked out. He told me that if I can't give 5 stars on the survey I would be sent then not to fill it out because it affects the salesperson negatively (the only guy that was decent there). I will never ever ever recommend or purchase a vehicle there again. These people, especially Phil lack social intelligence and respect. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this place, they will try to screw you over any way they can. read more

Being a single woman, Thaddeus treated me with the utmost respect and never tried to disrespect me. He explained everything to me word for word and broke everything down in detail. This dealership doesn't deserve your hard earned money!!!!! They are arrogant and not appreciative of a customers business. I have brought 3 new SUV's from this dealership since 2007 and visited last Sunday to buy a used car for my son. I left without a deal but then received a phone call from the used car manager Jason Godsmack and after we talked for a few minuted he made me an offer on the car I was looking at. I told him I will get back to him in a few days and he replied that this was OK the deal will stand as long as the car doesn't' sell before I buy it. On Tuesday I called Jason Godsmack to accept the deal and got his voice mail. I left a message saying I will be taking this deal and coming in later in the week to finalize. I left my number for a call back. I never received a call back so on Thursday I went into the dealership to finalize the deal with Jason Godsmack since he told me he will be in everytday this week except for Wednesday. When I arrived at the dealership Phil C. told me that Jason stepped out and won't be back for a few hours. Phil also told me there is no way Jason Godsmack will sell me the car for the price he offered me. I wrote down my name and number for Jason to call me with a time to come back in. I also followed this up with an email when I got home. I never received a call back or a return email. As far as I'm concerned Babylon Honda does NOT want anymore of my money or business! I will never give my business to this dealership again as they obviously don't want it. Salesman like this are the reason used car salesman have such a poor reputation. With so much competition it's surprising how little this dealership cares about it's customers and it offers zero loyalty programs. read more

They literally tried to commit fraud. My Mother, who is retired brough ther honda there for AC repair, it is a known issue with extended warranty. But then they claimed another part of the AC System was broken and the AC compressor is a "special order" part and she had to prepay for it. would have been $1k out of my mom's pocket. I advised her to take it to another dealership, and they repaired everything for free. these guys are thieves, crooks and liars. and after reporting there fraud to Honda? they said oh. we will retrain them, and document their bad behavior... ??!!! they committed FRAUD! next step report to the NYS Attorney General. and start other legal actions. read more

I had some serious problems at the "New" Babylon Honda. The wait time was extraordinary. I spent hours there (unnecessarily) due to their disorganization and ineptness. One of the sales reps was rude (not the one who helped us) and one of the managers was very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. They need to work on their management skills, and customer relations. I also felt that they lied to me about what was taking so long. My paperwork wasn't ready when I went to pick up the car, and then it was wrong and had to be corrected. They definitely didn't put the customer first. Babylon Honda has been around a long time and it is unfortunate that it was taken over by new owners and the quality of service is so horrible. I have never been treated this way at any other car dealerships. I wish I had read the reviews and known that this was not the same Babylon Honda. I suggest going to another Honda dealer if you want to have a positive experience. read more

Babylon Honda is the plague that keeps on giving. The only recent I'm granting two stars is the Honda product itself; otherwise interacting with these dealership has been an ongoing headache. I bought a 2012 Honda Accord with many of the bells and whistles. The saleswoman also sold me on an extended warranty through Zurich, which I was told would cover everything. Life was ok for a while. A few years later, I started picking up on issues and tried to put my warranty to use. I quickly discovered the warranty wasn't worth the $1,900+ I'd spent as seemingly nothing was covered. My Honda deck was eating CDs and changing the radio station on it's own? Not covered. The airbag light came on the dash? Not covered. The only thing it did cover was a worn ball joint Babylon found when I brought the car in about a concerning noise - they never figured that out. That leads me to the dealer's Service Department. These folks are quick to push the diagnostics fee and slow to take care of the customer. When the radio was an issue years ago, one of the techs tried to blame a minor tear in tint over the radio antenna engrained in the rear window as the problem. And while the ball joint was replaced, I was told my brakes were yellow (front) and red (back) and needed to be replaced. After buying and prepping replacements myself, I discovered the back brakes still had some life left. A dispute with the service manager ended up with an offer to "take care of me" to avoid losing a customer. I anticipated this to mean he'd install the front brakes I already had. Early one Saturday morning I learned his offer was to purchase brakes from him and he'd skip the labor. Babylon has lost me as a customer, as well as my family and friends. A family member, a person who turned me on to Babylon initially and led to the purchase of five separate vehicles from them, called the sales manager in hopes of speaking to someone with a sense of sanity and decency. They never returned his call. read more
