My favorite Korean fried chicken on this side of town. Basic menu and great food. Nothing fancy but always clean and rarely crowded

Probably my favorite Korean fried chicken in Denver. But honestly, if this were in Los Angeles or something, it would only be middle of the pack. Friendly staff, inside looks clean, but tables were sticky. Utensils and anything you need are on one side of the front counter, so it's convenient. Not a ton of seating inside, but it seems like most people get to-go. Kind of like a wing stop sort of situation. The wings themselves are cooked perfectly, though the coating is a little thicker than I prefer. It's not thick at all, but I prefer barely any or none at all. The sauces are nice. Our favorites are the soy garlic and the yangnyum. Honey soy garlic was too sweet for us, and the spicy yangnyum was too spicy for our preference. Pickled radish comes with wings. A little smelly, but tastes so wonderful if you can get over the smell. Fries are cooked perfectly. Rice is really yummy to eat with these wings. read more

Stopped in and grabbed a lunch special. Great lunch pricing for plenty of food. The service was pretty average, pay at the counter and the cashier didn't show a whole lot of personality, but he got the job done. Small dining area with high ceilings so it feels like a bigger space. The food was good and lunch pricing is very affordable. This was my first time trying Korean Fried Chicken and it didn't disappoint! I got the Padak (green onion) and it was delicious. The chicken is extremely juicy while being so crispy. The meal came with pickled radish and a salty sauce (not sure what it was but it was good!) The vibe is you order your food and then sit at a table. It's a fast casual spot. I didn't really interact with the employees, but the restaurant was clean and the food came out pretty quickly. read more

Dagiya is a casual place to get your KFC (korean fried chicken) fix with some other snacks. There is ample parking in the plaza, but I would say that seating is moderate. Staff are super friendly and the food taste great!!! I would say that the portion of the KFC is appropriate, but the portion of the Ddeukbokki was on the smaller side considering its price. Also this place is right next to Snowl if you want to get dessert afterwards! read more

Just moved into the neighborhood and I'm loving the Asian vibe, with nice looking Korean, Chinese, Mediterranean spots everywhere. I went to Home Depot and decided to stop here. So glad I did!! Had no idea what to expect, so I got both the fried chicken and the mayo chicken bowl. I personally need more spice out of the bowl, but I am sure they have options that I didn't ask about. What makes this super special is the pickled something that comes with the fried chicken. I am in LOVE. It has some sort of kick to it that makes me cough if I am not careful, but also a sweetness to it. I am seriously in love with it. If that is a side, I'll be getting more of that next time. Was driving around the area with my honey looking for a lunch spot when this gem popped up in my Yelp page. Having lived in SoCal for a bit, I know Korean chicken is so I told my honey and we went. Luckily it was empty when we arrived and we weren't feeling rushed while placing our order. The host was able to make recommendations which we gladly accepted. The flavors weren't your basic fried chicken flavors, def not something available at wing st*p, and that what makes this place magical. The food is good but WAY too expensive for what it is. There is nothing particularly special about Dagiya from the service to the food to the interior everything feels serviceable, but nothing feels special or unique. Or at least not unique enough to justify what is being charged. If you are really craving Korean fried chicken Dagiya will fill your craving but lighten your wallet in the process read more

We finally made it to Dagiya for Korean Fried Chicken! For this adventure, we did order take out rather than sat inside the restaurant. Some thing to keep in mind for take out here is that their "estimated time" is not accurate especially if you ordered chicken wings. (They do write in the description section of any chicken wings that they will take additional time.) Overall, the food was great! The original KFC was perfectly cooked. The skin was crunchy and well seasoned. The Honey Soy Garlic was good, the skin is not as crispy as their original. The seasoning/sauce is more mild compared to BonChon or Angry Chicken in the area. Pickled Radish...needs some improvement, it is my favorite side dish and it was a huge let down. Just tasted super weird. It was not tangy. It was indeed crisp. I've ordered from them several times and can finally write this review. Prices are decent and a little expensive but it taste good! Each time I've ordered through Door dash, I've had the food delivered hot and crispy. I've never had a soggy experience with them. The fried chicken is one of the best I've had in a while! The Honey soy and soy garlic are my go to, but I'm surprised at how good their original recipe is. The skin is flavorful and the chicken is juicy. Last night I decided to try their chicken mayo bowl and wow! This is one of the best fish I've had in a long time! Maybe I was hungry, maybe I didn't have many options last night, but each bite was delightful! The bowl itself is a well sized portion, the rice is plentiful and you get lots of chicken. The pieces of chicken were delectable and the sauce had personality and it wasn't too sweet or cloying. The pickled radishes were the perfect foil for the chicken pieces. Another casual Korean restaurant opened only a quick 10-minute drive from my northeast DTC in the recent year or two. It's conveniently located on Parker Road on northbound right after Chambers Road. I read some great reviews left by others so today, I made a stop to check it out. It was a little after 4:30pm. The dinner rush had not started just yet on a Wednesday afternoon. When I stepped in, they appeared to have some to-go orders to take care of. Once I placed my order, it took about 10 minutes for my food to be ready. Not bad. The young lady was very nice to me. She had a nice smile. The menu seemed a bit limited; it's not a very extensive menu is what I thought. Maybe in the future, they can add a few more items to it?? The dining area is a good size. It's very clean. And it's not crowded with a bunch of tables so there is that nice open feel to it. The ceiling is high so this could be the reason why the place looks spacious. I quickly peeked inside my to-go bag. The main (Chicken Mayo Bowl) appeared to be a GOOD portion; I could feel the heaviness by holding the bag. also got me the Pickled Radish which is only $1. What can you get with $1 these days? I certainly appreciate this reasonability. At home, I had to stare at the Chicken Mayo Bowl for a minute while I was taking a few photos of it. It's quite large; this can easily feed two moderately hungry human beings. Not too salty with sauce; the chicken cutlet pieces were perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed the Pickled Radish. The other day my husband said: "Do you really want Dagiya again? You've had it twice this week!" And the answer was YES! Lucky for us, we live close by so it's become a family favorite. We've tried all of the varieties of fried chicken and love the white onion fried chicken the most. It is topped with thin onion slices and the best part is the white onion dipping sauce (I wish this sauce would come with all the orders). Another favorite is the Chicken Mayo Bowl - I could eat this dish for lunch every day! The chicken is so flavorful and drizzled in mayo on a bed of rice makes it even better! Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Ddukbokki in general. But I do think the Labokki that includes ramen noodles is good! The service has always been quick and friendly! After eyeing on this location for awhile, finally had chance to stop by one afternoon. It was definitely late for lunch but too early for dinner and place was very quite. We were the 2nd group of customers at the time of order. Of course, by the time we were done with it, place was already packed with to go orders and such. We opted for Yangnyum (양념) chicken for 13.99. There is option for spicier or ones witth onions or other flavors like soy and original but this was perfect heat. The chicken is made with dark meat which was very flavorful, crunch and moist center. It was delicious and definitely unique compare to other Korean chicken places that are popping out everywhere. Tried this place today for lunch. Was highly recommend and now I know why! I got their lunch special Spicy Yangnyum. It was chicken perfectly cooked and spicy. The fries were golden brown and crispy. The amount of boneless chicken and fries was balanced well for me! Definitely made with love! They also give you pickled radish as well. They offer many different fried chicken combinations and Ddukbokki a broth soup too. Multiple sauces available from sweet to spicy. They also offer Korean Soju and beers as well. Soft drinks for those who don't drink alcohol. The service is fast and amazing. I was greeted immediately and they took my order. Made fresh to order. Worth the few minutes for it to come out fresh! I'm sure that will change once Snowl opens. Walked up and perused the menu. I love that it's simple and they don't try to be everything to everyone. We decided on the original fried chicken which has been marinated for 24 hours and a side of pickled radish. Also a Yangnyum which is fried chicken in a sweet and spicy gochujang sauce and a chicken mayo bowl. The fried chicken is drizzled with sweet soy garlic, mayo and green onions. We decided the chicken mayo bowl is our fav. Crunchy and tasty. Well seasoned and not overly rich. The original fried chicken was a little chewy but it was not bad. The Yangnyum chicken was better. Wow!! This spot was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised that they used boneless thigh meat for their fried chicken because I've never had Korean fried chicken prepared that way. I'm definitely sold on it! We got an order of the chicken with the yangnyum sauce which was garlicky, sweet, a little spicy (but not really because I'm a baby with heat) and just overall amazing. It came with a little side of pickled radish (will definitely get an additional order next time). We each ordered a side of rice to eat with it. The one order or chicken and two sides of rice was enough for my husband and I. We were the only ones eating dinner there but there was a steady stream of to-go orders. Service was a little slow for us being the only ones dining in but I suspect it was the to-go orders. The interior was nice and they were playing korean music videos on the wall with a projector, so I had fun watching those while I ate. Counter service for ordering but they delivered the food straight to our table. I can't wait to go back and try something else! DELICIOUS Honey Soy Garlic K.F.C. If you love Korean Fried Chicken, you have to come here. The food was delicious. I like everything I tried including the Spicy Yangnam and Onion-covered K.F.C. (the sauce is killer). I also enjoyed some curly fries and some great ranch dressing. The fries were nice and crispy. Fries took a bit, but the staff member was really nice about it and took care of our table as much as possible. The restaurant is fast-casual, but still has plenty of seating and they have Korean beer and soju including CASS and flavored Jinro soju. A win-win. I will go again for sure. Good food good service! I ordered take out. The rose rice cake sauce is to die for. It taste like a creamy soon tofu. The original fried chicken is by far my favorite. Crispy on the outside and moist chicken on the inside. The owners also recommended spicy yangnyum which was also delicious. I would say spice level is similar to shin ramyun black.
