My favorite Chinese buffet! I love the black pepper chicken, hibachi chicken and the spicy chicken. I also like their American choices such as the fried livers and Mac and cheese. The atmosphere and decor make you feel like you paid more money. The strawberry shortcake and ice cream selections are also a perk for those with a sweet tooth. For those who like sushi, they have one of the largest selections I've ever seen. The crab legs and steak are also available during dinner hours. For two people, you can eat for about $22. First, my review is based on lunch ONLY. I've never been during dinner, but I've heard that it's like Black Friday morning at Walmart when they put out the crab legs. The buffet is HUGE. There's everything from sushi to salad to ice cream to fried rice to mac and cheese. There's definitely something for everyone. The quality of the food is surprisingly good considering it's a buffet. My recommendation on the Chinese side is the black pepper chicken. I'm usually not really into meat on these buffets because it has a strange texture, but that dish is very good. Also, I won't touch any kind of seafood, so I have no clue if it's any good. A friend of mine has eaten the sushi and said it wasn't bad, but that may be something that depends on taste. This place is pretty impressive, as far as size and variety go. Not only normal Chinese, but a small variety of Southern cuisine and approximately 8-10 flavors of self serve ice cream. They also have a Hibachi grill where you can select your items and have them cooked. And there's sushi as well, though I have never tried it. Overall quality isn't too much to brag about, but you'd be hard pressed to not be able to find something you like. read more

When we entered the building, the waitress refused to seat us until we pre-paid for the meal. We were then told to keep the ticket on the table. Neither the two gentlemen I held the door open for when we first arrived nor the diners already in the restaurant were required to pre-pay. Likewise, the people entering after us were not required to either (I watched the door after I became suspicious). As much as I tried to rationalize it, I can only conclude that this had to do with my race, or maybe my age and race. Very clean restaurant! Lots of different items to choose from! I enjoyed having different items on the buffet that other similar restaurants do not carry. The food was hot as well. They had the Sushi, oyster and Hibachi bars all in separate areas. Waitress was very prompt in refilling our drinks as well as clearing away dirty plates. I would have loved to give 5 stars. After our 13.5 mile hike, all we wanted was FOOOODDDD! So we picked this buffet off of yelps reviews. Food was ok, most of the food was fairly bland but if u add a little salt, BAM! Much better! There was a wide variety of choices! I was surprised that at one point I had fried chicken, mashed potatoes and corn on my plate at a Chinese buffet. We wanted to try the hibachi grill but the chef was no where in sight. My boyfriend ate pretty much everything but nothing stood out to him except the cocktail shrimp. And for me? Food is ok, sushi is good, hibachi bar pretty good. Service was pretty good. BUT, if you are there for dinner service, and they bring out the crab legs...RUN!! Run far away from the bar, because you will get trampled. I was actually standing at the bar when the lady brought out a fresh tub of crab legs once....and since i never had their crab legs because of the mad rush that usually ensues, I decided that I would try them. There was one large mexican lady ahead of me, so when she finished getting hers, I would try them. Afterall, the lady had just put a full tub of them on the steam bar. Man was I wrong. This big, large, woman took EVERY crab leg out of that freshly made, full tub. She piled them all up on two plates, didn't leave a single leg for anyone else. Being from out of town I can give this an honest review. Penpa was the MOST amazing waitress my family has ever had!!! She made sure everything was clean and everyone was taken care of. She was playing with our 1 year old daughter and made our experience extremely enjoyable! And on top of everything she showed extreme gratitude for the tip my husband left, she gave a small bow. It's a terrific Chinese buffet but don't expect any authentic Chinese food here. The sushi selection is the largest that I've seen for any buffet in this state and I eat at a TON of Chinese buffets. They have a teppinaki/Mongolian BBQ station where you can get your choice or items made to order. The buffet is also the largest I've seen in the state; Top China in Hoover is a close second.
