We went to order our food and we were greeted by a woman shooting daggers at us, as if we were unwelcome in her establishment. We went to place our order and asked a question which was answered with silence and a hand pointing to the menu. Once we received our order and sat at home, we noticed the strange coloring of the sesame chicken, similar to orange chicken but somehow taki/hot Cheeto colored? This is excellent Chinese take out . I have been going here for over 20 years. The couple that own and run the restaurant are dedicated, extremely hard working people. They work there 18 hours a day 7 days a week!! About once a year they take time off to visit their aging parents out of state and for a much deserved rest. Their.lunch and dinner specials are very reasonable and portions are huge. This is not set up for sit down customers, although there are a couple of tables, it is designed for take out old school Chinese food and it does that well. read more

Great place to get your Chinese Take-Out Fix! Service is speedy and all of the traditional favorites are on the menu! Prices are reasonable, too. I decided to visit this place on whim and ordered Shrimp with Mixed Vegetables and a Summer Roll. There were plenty of shrimp in the dish and the vegetables were very fresh! I did think the sauce was a little on the thick side, as if there was too much cornstarch in the sauce. Nevertheless, the dish was enjoyable and just the right amount for lunch. There are a few tables if you'd like to dine inside. The summer roll was supposed to have shrimp and pork, but I only saw maybe two pop-corn sized shrimp and no pork. The chicken portion of my "chicken and cashew nuts" was breading deep fried with most pieces having zero chicken in it. This place is literally like 1 minute down the street and it took me months to try them and now I'm regretting that I didnt try them sooner. I got the large general tso chicken, the small spare ribs, and the broccoli and string bean in garlic sauce and everything was delicious! And the quantity of food was amazing for the value of the food! Terrible customer service. I didn't get a chance to try the food but considering that their service was horrendous I feel that speaks for itself. I called for an order for takeout and they told me to hold while I was in the middle of saying my order. I said OK no worries and after a few minutes I was hung up on. I didn't think much of it, I called back and I said "oh it looks like we were disconnected" and a lady responded saying " no I told you to hold on now what do you want? " I was very confused by this and I immediately responded saying "no ma'am the call dropped so I evidently had to call back, you didn't place me on a hold". I have been here several times now. The food is your typical Americanized Chinese food, it is quite good though. I would have given it 4, possibly 5, stars if it weren't for the friendliness... or lack there of. You have a better chance of winning the mega-millions than getting the staff to smile, or speak English. Their service is very quick however. If you plan on bringing your family here to dine in, I would highly discourage you. The dining room is very minimal, as if they're trying to persuade you not to dine in. Hung up on by their takeout person twice, the owner did not apologize and offered no rectification except for 10% off. Yes it's yum..... quick, good and definitely your monies worth. The curry shrimp is my favorite (onions only) and it's as close to back up north as I have found. Oh the chicken wings are great too. I ordered wonton soup & lo mein.... the Wonton Soup's broth tastes the same way laundry smells and the noodle/meat was hardly edible. The Lo Mein smelled and tasted both burnt and like they had cooked it in a hundred pounds of garlic and onions. It had zero taste whatsoever. I am new to the area and I called trying to get a delivery. The girl snapped saying, "we don't deliver!" And when I said "ok, nevermind, thank you.", she just hung up. Loudly.
