I came in for lunch and the place was packed. I was seated quickly and the food came fast. I ordered a holiday roll as an app and a poke bowl for the main. The holiday roll was out in minutes. Imitation krab and cream cheese, deep fried and topped with a sweet sauce. Highly recommended. The poke was really good but kind of plain. It did not appear to have any sauces on it. Just tuna and veggies. I Added shrimp sauce and soy but really felt it needed something else. They also have sushi, Ramen and hibachi. I would go back to try those for sure. read more

The food is good and the portion sizes are pretty big. Hibachi had lots of flavor. The crab rangoons were good but seemed like they could've been cooked a little longer. The inside is clean and can fit a good amount of people. Even at lunch time this place was busy. If you are going with a group, make sure to call ahead so they can get the table ready. read more

Had a very fresh round of sushi! I was pleased when I asked for a paper menu and they provided the traditional menu! I prefer this Wild Ginger over the Palm Coast location. There were a few rolls that were not rolled tight on my friend's order (not pictured) and things were falling out. Hence the reduction in rating. Miso soup was served piping hot, very good and would definitely return. Service was ok, plates could've been cleared after our meal. read more

Waiter was not considerate or attentive and actually made a disparaging remark about ordering off the menu. We ordered the red curry w/beef. the rice rice was okay but the beef was off. we tried eating it but they let us order something else which was good. Not the best choice by a long shot. The soup, which I'm not even sure was miso, was the only bright spot along with averagely capable service. Weird salad dressing, and the chef's choice sushi lunch was well below standard. Honestly good supermarket sushi is way better. The bathroom was shockingly dirty. I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally stopped in for lunch today. The menu looked great with a lot of delicious looking items. I chose from the lunch menu and opted for the Steak & Scallop Hibachi Lunch..... When it arrived I was surprised with the generous portion size and it looked very appetizing! The taste was even better!!Everything tasted fresh, at perfect temperature and had a lot of flavor. Very please with my lunch today. I will be returning to try more of the menu. Wild Ginger is our favorite stop while shopping at the Tanger Outlets at Daytona Beach. Service is great, food comes out fast. I love the customizable poke bowl and the yellow beef curry. The curry has a little bit of spice but still very flavorful. For the poke bowl, you can choose up to five ingredients - my main items are tamago (egg), tobiko (fish eggs), mango, krab salad, and avocado. It was very filling! Don't forget to ask for eel sauce and spicy mayo to tie it all in! I'll have to try and come here for their lunch specials and sushi. My Wife , I, daughter, our three grandchildren went there today for lunch and it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. We ordered hibachi and sushi, the hibachi was ok , the salad was not good enough to feed a pig the lettuce was welted , along with the clear soup had hardly a taste. Such a perfect late lunch/snack this past weekend. I was shocked how busy they were for the time, but service was on point. That's such a rare treat nowadays. I ordered the Hibachi lunch special with steak and chicken. It comes with soup and a salad. The food was just okay. The protein had NO seasoning at all, not even salt.
