I loved everything about it. The only thing I could say was, I wish they had more soup in the dumplings and quicker service

Go for dimsum!! All the dimsum we tried was hot, fresh, and tasty. Very good variety! Good for groups as everyone can try different dimsum to find their favorites. Our favorites were the roast bbq pork buns (baked char siu bao), lotus leaf wrapped rice (lo mai gai), and the chewy fried dimsum (ham sui gok). And the radish cake with XO sauce! Good spice level. Service is friendly and prompt. The tasteful interior is nicely lit, not too bright. There is bar seating but most sit in one of the many booths, and there are bigger tables for large groups. I almost can't believe dimsum this tasty exists in Port Orange. We're excited to go back and try the roast duck! read more

We were the second table in that day and promptly served by the owner. We ordered a variety of our favorites such as steamed eggplant stuffed with shrimp, rib tips in black bean sauce, soup dumplings, seafood dumplings, siu mai, baked pork buns, and sesame balls. I got the beef brisket noodle soup and my father got the braised pork belly and taro. Stand out favorites were the baked pork buns and sesame balls, both perfectly cooked and filled. The siu mai were available as shrimp, pork, or beef - we got shrimp and yes it was nice shrimp but I prefer the shrimp/pork mixture. Seafood dumplings were good as was the eggplant. The black bean pork rib tips were a bit underseasoned and the soup dumplings had only a few drops of soup and too thick skins BUT if you just think of them as ginger pork dumplings they're great. Brisket noodles soup was good but nothing outstanding. The pork belly was thick cut and perfectly cooked tender and fatty and while we assumed it would be chunks of taro it turned out to be minced into the sauce. Mostly sweet without much other nuance but adding a bit of the chili paste we asked for made it better. Only complaint is that after our final dish came out we never saw our waiter again. A younger waiter started working the floor which only had 3 other tables occupied. We had to flag him down for take out boxes and the check after sitting there for 10 minutes despite him having visited once to refill water when we were already done. If I'm craving dim sum and had to be in the area I'd go again but I'll still be going to Orlando to really scratch that dim sum itch. read more

Our 3rd visit over the last couple of months. Our new favorite dim sum restaurant in the Daytona Beach area. Great food, great service and the food comes out piping hot. The server we've had on the last 2 visits, Alex, has been filling in temporarily while going to school in the Orlando area. Alex is professional, friendly and knows the menu and the Asain community in Daytona/Orlando so he's a wealth of knowledge. Looking forward to returning again in the not so distant future read more

Our 2nd visit over the last couple of months. Our new favorite dim sum restaurant. Having moved up from the Orlando area where dim sum is more prevalent, this is still up there with the best of them. We've also decided we like the dim sum better coming from the kitchen better than the novelty of the push carts. While the carts are quicker to get the food upon sitting down, we've found the food coming from the kitchen to be hotter and fresher. Service has also been very good on both visits. read more

When we lived in California, we had established a habit of having dim sum on Christmas Day, our big celebration being on Christmas Eve. Here in Florida, I was not sure if we would be able to continue. But with the find of Asian Sauce Box, I'm pleased to say the habit can continue. We arrived at a late lunch hour on 12/25, around !:00pm. We were seated promptly in the sparsely populated restaurant. I was worried that there would be a crowd because people with out of town guests often go out at the late lunch hour. Not the case here! The waiter/owner seated up promptly and when I asked for the paper slip to mark our dim sum choices, he said they don't do that any more, just order from the menu. So order we did. We got Har Gow, Shiu Mai, shrimp noodles, eggplant with shrimp, egg yolk buns and chive dumplings. We had big plans to get some chow mein, but that didn't happen. We were full from our first 6 items. This dim sum is hand made in house to order. Because of this it is a bit more expensive than other places. But here in FL, it is unique and I'm glad to see it continuing to survive. There was nothing not to like here. The ambiance was relaxed, servers attentive, and food hot and flavorful. Overall, better than I expected. We will be back and not just on Christmas! read more

Dim sum here is amazing-the only place we will go without having to drive to Orlando. Ambiance is more questionable--every time we come in, there is a screaming child sound coming from the kitchen. I am sure it is the chef's child, and as parents, we understand, but it happens so much that it almost makes us not want to go there! Plus, the poor young guy in front has to be host, busser, and server, which means service can be pretty slow if more than a few tables are occupied. Food quality keeps bringing us back, but restaurant operations flaws make us come a lot less than we would! read more

My family has been coming here for years! We love this place. I believe it is family run! An adorable little boy took mine and my partner's order over the summer and he was so well spoken and sweet. :) The food here is delicious! We recommend the dim sum, which is fantastic. We love the fried shrimp balls, the shrimp shu mai, and the sesame balls (which are always piping hot). The salted egg yolk custard buns are to die for! Solid orange chicken and the fish filet with tofu (in brown soy flavored sauce) is so yummy. It's usually very quiet in the restaurant, sometimes with soft music playing. Without question this is by far the best dim sum and Chinese food in central Florida, best I've had since I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area. Visiting Port Orange and craving Asian food. Found this fabulous spot and had some fresh home-made asian fare. Started with two orders of spring rolls; pork and vegetable followed by the Mongolian Beef, Sweet and Sour Chicken, General Tso Chicken and Shrimp with Rice Noodles. The atmosphere and decor is very tasteful, a nice surprise, and the food, that which we've tried, which is only the dumplings from the Dim Sum menu are great. We've been there twice and will go again, and again. Our favorites are the pork soup dumplings and the fried pork potstickers. Many others were very good as well. read more

I was looking for the best steamed dumplings and pork buns in my area Asian sauce house is one of the ones that came up. And it's located in the pavilion. I ordered the shrimp dumplings and the pork buns I personally did not enjoy the shrimp dumplings they tasted "fishy". However the buns are delicious there's good flavor in the pork. The buns are nice and fluffy. There is more bun than filling but overall very good. The establishment was clean. The restrooms were clean. I would come back for the buns. read more

This place has really good food! Great service! For the appetizer, I got the crab ragoon, which is fried and filled with cream cheese and imitation crab served with sweet and sour sauce to dip. Delicious. And for my meal I got chicken and broccoli with white rice. It was very appetizing. My sister got a dish. I don't know the name of it, but it has noodles in some curry sauce with shrimp and some vegetables. I almost stole and ate because it was very delicious and flavorful. Passing by the area and decided to give it a try based on yelp reviews and pictures. Turned out great and we stopped by again today on the way back. We had dim sum. 1. shrimp dumplings - cute and yummy. My 6 yr old had 12. :-) 2. Congee - just what we needed after a long trip - it's chinese comfort food. 3. Egg plant and chicken - goes well with rice. Savory with the salted fish fragrance. Yummy. 4. Rice noodles - good as well , all the flavors blended with. Portion is good as well. This place has upgraded!! New management and new menu is going to be a success. I enjoyed the dim sum which is made in house by the chef. You can tell it's fresh and not frozen! The selection on the menu is great with a lot of variety. I usually order the mei fun at other restaurants and this is by far the best in the area. The food is delicious. Unfortunately it's impossible to enjoy because there are children who I believe belong to the owner, playing their video games on full volume without headphones and screaming at a table in the main dining area when there is a private room that the kids could be sitting in. The soup dumplings are really great, but they aren't served with chopsticks or a spoon so you may feel needy having to ask for utensils, chili oil, and vinegar. we eat a lot of dim sum everywhere we go and in my experience the chili oil and vinegar is always on the table and we are always served a soup spoon and chopsticks with our food so having to ask for everything individually was annoying. The reviews stating that the food is "weird" or "not normal" Are just downright offensive. The food is not weird. It is authentic.. and very tasty at that. If you're looking for a hamburger go somewhere else if you're looking for authentic dim sum, you will be pleased- at least with the flavors. We wanted to order more but couldn't stand the noises coming from the kids table so opted to leave. I hope the next time we come the kids will be out of ear shot. read more

Good Chinese food in Florida!! Unsuspecting Chinese restaurant that serves up some really tasty food. Loved the braised bean curd with mushrooms and veggies. The food here isn't overly greasy. They have brown rice for a healthier option. The usual Chinese food menu with appetizers, entrees, rice and noodles. They have a good selection of dim sum available as well that my parents found pretty good. Service was super friendly. Waitress was fluent in English if you don't speak Mandarin or Cantonese. Went there tonight to meet some friends for a late dinner. I've been here several times, and each time the item I've ordered has not been to my expectations. I've ordered their Pad Thai about four times now, it's never like Pad Thai, or mine, that I've had before. I don't think it's even close to being any type of Pad Thai. So why they call it that, I'm not sure. So tonight, I figured I'd try something different and ordered the "traditional Chinese style chicken and broccoli"........ again, nothing like what I've ever had before. I took a picture of my plate, I think they gave me bok choy, it's not even broccoli!!! Their fried rice is just that, plain fried rice. Anywhere else that I've ever had fried rice it comes with- egg, carrots, peas, and sometimes pork (if you're having the pork fried rice). Unfortunately my friend that likes this place will try to drag me back, but I can't do this anymore. Ordering and being disappointed is getting old.
