I was in the Pompano Beach area and remembered there was a Chinese restaurant in the Garden Isles Shopping Center. The parking spaces fill up quickly during the evening; luckily, I managed to find one. A pleasant employee greeted me and took my order for a quart of house special wonton soup. I asked the employee if he had fried wonton noodles to go with the soup, and he confirmed that he did. The small restaurant had only a few tables if you chose to eat inside. It offers a wide selection of dishes at reasonable prices. I received my order within minutes and immediately headed home. As I pulled the container out of the bag, I was pleased to see it filled with not only wontons, but also shrimp, chicken, roast pork, carrots, broccoli, snap peas, scallions, celery, and mushrooms all in a flavorful broth. And it was filled with larger bits of meat. I really liked it. There was a lot of large flat pork slices in with the vegetables. In a brown sauce, there was broccoli, bok choy, pea pods, etc. It came with a side container of white rice. The rice noodles were fragrant with curry, but it only had a slight kick (as in not too spicy). There were lots of shrimp, chicken, and pork strips mixed in with the thin noodles. This dish was addictive. We are so glad we stopped to try them. Really one of the better Chinese places we've tried and certainly one of the better take-out places. Wish they were closer, or we'd be there more often.
