Incredible quick service, warm clean environment, kind friendly team. Our food was so hot and fresh. Dishes made with fresh veggies. Sesame chicken was nice and crispy! Yum! Again please.

I'm not usually on this far west side of Redding, but I was visiting a friend that lives off the 299 out here and wanted to bring over some Chinese food for dinner. I found this place in a shopping center tucked away in a corner spot. I saw menu already and ordered the War Won Ton soup and the Singapore noodles to go. The wait wasn't long and all packed to go just fine. No cooking tonight, cause it's hotter than you know what out here. Heading for cooler weather tomorrow! Got to my friends house and we decided to be civilized and re - plate the noodles and put the soup in a proper bowl. No eating outta to go containers like some worker working late at the office or something. The food was very good, the soup had tons of goodies in it as well as lots of won ton dumplings. The noodles were flavored good and tasted as they're supposed to. I'd come back here again if I needed Chinese food in this part of Redding.

Mongolian Beef, mandarin prawns, fried calamari, bbq pork chow mein.

Whoever wrote that this is the best chow mein ever has no taste bud. Literally tastes plain and very oily. The Mongolian beef is one of the worst I ever had. No favor and you can taste the cornstarch. The mandarin prawns are not good. The only thing I like from here was the crab cheese wonton. This place is literally one of the worst tasting Chinese food I ever had. Will not be returning. Staff was nice but the food is not good.

The restaurant closes 9 PM and we were lucky enough to reach before that as we entered. The ambience was amazing. The hotel was quite big enough and the sitting area was also very pretty. Me and my daughter and my husband selected up place. We ordered a dinner plate unknowing of the fact both the quantity of the food and as we were hungry enough so we ordered one plate of kung pao chicken, which comes with egg drop soup and one egg roll along with a plate of half chicken needles, half pork fried rice or boiled rice, optional along with the compound chicken and we ordered another plate of sweet-and-sour chicken along with the same combination of fried rice or white rice and half chicken noodles along with a soup and one roll and my daughter ordered a plate of chicken noodle noodles. The food was served within five minutes and seeing the quantity we got scared because it was huge. I would recommend you if you are with a kid or if you are three people please go for two plates as it's really huge amount of quantity we couldn't finish it at all. We had to box it and when we really ordered three box Ambience was really quiet. And I really like the service as they were gentle and friendly.

There are plenty of parking in this shopping center. The restaurant is very clean and airy, quite a huge place. The price is very reasonable for all the foods that they have. There is everything for any taste, it's like the Newark Buffet near our home. We got the senior discount automatically which was nice, enough for 2 drinks. The soup bar is excellent, seafood soup, hot and sour, wonton soup they're all good. The sushi bar has all the pre-made sushi which are ok. Every buffet, I would try every dish a little to see what I like, I did like the chicken wings, the scallops, salt and pepper shrimps, actually, all the fried dishes are great, hot and tasty. The hot foods come out very quickly as soon as the trays look low on food. I tried all the soups and they're quite delicious. The service is very attentive and quick for a buffet restaurant, everyone is quite pleasant. The dessert and salad bar are plentiful with fresh produce, jello and I love the almond cookies and coffee cakes. It was a hearty meal for us after a long day hiking in the Burney Falls loop. We'll stop by here next time we're in this area, definitely.

To pay him back I asked him where he wanted to go for lunch, he said that Chinese buffet. OK, I know what place he's talkin about, the Grand Buffet, On Hilltop Drive just off the 5 off of East Cypress exit. East to find and lots of parking. Looks like it's been over 2 years since I was here. The price for lunch now is $17 bucks plus tax and some tip. We get there and the place looks about the same as the last time I was here. They have these big Koi fish that seem to be an attraction near the front. We get seated and drink orders taken. We got here close to opening at 11 am. so all the food was nice and fresh and hot. Don't get here half hour before closing and expect there to be all hot fresh food, it ain't gonna happen. Some of the things I love here are those ribs! Yeah, Chinese can make so damn good ribs! Not Texas style though. Chicken wings are another of my fave here. My friend went wild and ate a ton of food, all kinds of noodles, ribs and wings. I pretty much skipped the carbs and filled up with shrimp, wings and ribs. They even have french fries if you want! Service is the usual just clear the plates and fill the drinks with minimal conversation. I gotta remember this place is here!
