I would not recommend buying a vehicle from New Deal Auto. I financed my first vehicle through them, and it had a slipping transmission. They replaced it with another vehicle, but the very first day I drove it off the lot, it shut off on me and had to be towed back. Now I've found out it has electrical problems, and I haven't even had this vehicle for a year. I'm a single mother who put $2,500 down, trusting this dealership to sell me a reliable vehicle. Instead, I feel like I was sold another lemon. Every time I call for help, I get excuses and empty promises. The service manager, Jerry, has repeatedly told me the problems were fixed, only for the same issues to continue. They've kept my car for a week at a time, returned it to me saying it was repaired, and the problems never went away. My salesman, Eric, hasn't been helpful either. Once they made the sale, it felt like customer service and honesty disappeared. Please do yourself a favor and have any vehicle from this dealership inspected by an independent mechanic before you buy it. Don't just take their word for it. UPDATE**** Office manager did contact my brother and made it right by refunding him all of his money and writing off the finance contract once we returned the vehicle, which is what we did. So we are satisfied with the outcome. However they did want me to remove my review... When my brother went to go pick up his newly fixed vehicle, he went driving down the road again ENGINE LIGHT for the same thing so he calls them back up. Let them know it's happening again. They say "oh we forgot to tell you that after changing the catalytic converter it could throw some weird o2 sensor codes". So they tell him to bring it in again and they'll "fix" it.... So when my brother drops off his vehicle they told him they will take a look at it , well they come back and end up telling him they are going to have to change the catalytic converter .... Ummm okkkk thought you already did that . So they take the car for almost a week .... We just got it back and now the o2 censor light is coming on .... So my brother who is mechanically inclined crawls under his vehicle and wouldn't you know it ....... There is no catalytic converter even attached to the damn exhaust of the car ... my brother looks at the paperwork and it has written on it "replaced catalytic converter" (scratched out) and it says that they attached a o2 censor Defouler to it. If you are unaware what that is this device bypasses the exhaust system so the engine light does not come back on.... So with that being said bypassing an exhaust system, so the engine light does not come on means that this vehicle is unable to pass emissions and that is the law in Maricopa county. Take this as a warning and steer clear from New Deal Auto there are NO DEALS here ..... read more

I bought car back last year. The first car stopped Working completely after two weeks and they refused to refund only trade for another. The day after I got second brake system light came on dash and car was taken in and supposedly fixed it and within two weeks brakes failed. Within A week of getting car back battery light came on and it was supposedly alternator again they supposedly replaced it. It failed and they replaced it twice after that. when I picked it up for the 5th time in less then 2 months of having car a new light was on a door light. They agree to fix it took them two times to fix it. While they were working on that the water pumps goes out and the alternator again goes out. They supposedly fix it all I get it back within 3 weeks the air compressor goes out. They refuse to fix want to charge me $1200 so i took it elsewhere cheaper. while the other mechanic was fixing the air compressor he notices water pump leaking. The one they supposedly replaced just weeks before. I call them they agree to fix it a week later. I write a review on google. The manager contacts me says he wants to make it right. Gives Me $400 of the $950 I had to pay to fix the air compressor and tells me if I had taken it to them he would've refunded all of it, even after I told him I couldn't because they were charging me more. He then responds to my review on Google attacking and insulting me and taking no responsibility for their actions as a dealer what so ever. I got no apology at any time through any of this. When I wrote more on google telling more of the story they tried to cover up his original response by deleting it which thankfully I screenshotted and posted as a photo So people could see how rude they really are. Another sign that I should have not gotten the car from New Deal Auto other car lot. Runway Auto. The name should be Runaway Auto!!!! The take your money and run ‍. I thought things were fine. NOPE . fast forward the weeks and I receive a message that the lender needs more information in order to fully finance my loan . I call the lender and they they ask for my information. I tell them. " mam, we can't locate your information ", " What?" Try my spouse's DOB, " ahhh there you are. I spent 2 hours on the phone to figure out what was wrong and how I could rectify the problem. The lender said that if I could not prod the information they wanted, then I do not qualify for a loan. Ok, no problem. I said, what would you recommend then, because I paid $1,500 down. They said I am not sure, that is between you and New Deal Auto. Great, I try to get someone with authority like Jerry- instead I got Elliot ( who ever he is). his advice to me was , we are trying to figure stuff out. I will call you. I have not gotten that call. Everyone that is associated with New Deal have deceived and manipulated and stolen from people who have worked hard for their money.I asked Gary at runway auto if there is room to negotiate. He sai most he could do is $500 off. I go to sign papers, lo and behold they tack on $500 Plus another $100 for document processing. Look Mr. Gary, you did no one favors. What a joke this has been. The situation has caused me so much stress and anxiety!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Between anxiety attacks and anxiety in genera, I have had to call my doctor so she could prescribe me something so that I can sleep. Got a new "used" car & transmission failed within a week of having the car. Yes, they put a "new one" in but the mechanics they are associated with clearly do bare minimum. New deal claims cars are inspected and tested but clearly not. It needed new brakes, new rotors, new pads, new suspension, new transmission, new wheel alignment which still needs to be done. Only have been in the car a handful of times, and we've had to get work done to it more times than I can count. I wish I would have read these Yelp reviews before going to this place. It has been a nightmare and it all seems so nice in the beginning. It's shady and don't know how this place is even still open after doing further research on the owner. It makes no sense as to how this place is even opened. As of February, (car was bought at the end of oct) the car was totaled as brakes were NOT inspected, and caused an accident! I purchased a 2015 Mitsubishi outlander. while Glenn my salesman was amazing, there were issues. The first being, my check engine light came on 6 days after purchase. that was rectified immediately. my main issue comes in when I dropped the truck ofr to be repaired. It was kept for about 18 hours, no problem. Upon picking up my vehicle, I noticed that my ash tray in my cup holder had been dumped upside down into my middle counsole, spiling the contents into the bottom. Items were also STOLEN from my truck; the sliding tray that went in the middle console, 2 $25 gas cards and 2 gold chains each which had a stone on either end of them. when I contacted the dealer and provided contact information for me to be contacted by Jerry, I STILL HAVE NOT received a call back in regards to the unacceptable behavior of the individuals that serviced my car. read more

Had a transmission issue right before the 3 months was expired and was covered under our warranty. Like any other product, simply purchase a warranty! Our car was $5600.00. I was sold a Lemon. The car has not been in my possession even a month and they have not been able to fix the issues with it. Brakes grind at a complete stop and squeak, will not shift properly and the seat can not be adjusted. I could not complete a 3 hour trip up north since the car would not go past 40mph uphill and would not shift gears at all. I had to turn around and head home in fear I would break down in the middle of nowhere while on my own. I have video proof of the car not being able to climb the hill and the dealership wouldn't even take a look. This is all after they refused my trade in, refused my first loan so I had to go back and get another bank to finance and the repairs they did on the brakes, which I'm starting to believe never happened as the brakes still squeak, which the guy told me to "spray some brake cleaner and they're good to go". Repairs should not be my responsibility especially if the car is under warranty but was also told it can only be fixed by their 3rd party mechanic that they have some sort of deal with because if I was to take it anywhere I pay out of pocket or they could void my warranty so I can't even get a second opinion in the matter. It's their way or no way. Also, rude to have a man raise his voice to a lady in front of other potential customers as I tried to warn the other people in the lobby of their poor customer service. They lose nothing by refunding me my down payment and restocking the car to sell it to the next poor victim that falls for it. Either way they get their money! We saw some vehicles we were interested in and they had clear prices marked on them. We were looking for a used car for my daughter to last 2-5 years. We test drove 3 cars. Settled on a Kia Elantra. When closing the deal, asked for $300 off to replace the 4 badly worn tires. They gladly did that. Also we asked about floor mats and they gave us a brand new 4 piece set, $30 dollar value. They warranted the car for 1 week or 500 miles. However, I did not know they had sold me a lemon. The car's transmission started going out on me a short time later. The dealership should have known about the transmission problem. Due to the fact, they have in-house mechanics that inspect the vehicles as the vehicles are placed on the carlot. No one knew what was going on there. We were advised that we would be called to set up a day to detail and wash the car. It was not at all cleaned before it was put on the lot. Ex the cup holders were dirty and it never went through the wash. It was very hot, no one offered us water or to go inside. I was also advised the lights would be buffed. They never called. I went back to set up a time and the guy was just blowing me off, and refused to provide any information on contacting the owner to me. He yelled at me that I could forget getting the wash and detail done, and basically followed me to my car to see that I left the property. What ever is below Shady is what this place is. Unknowledgeable and rude sales people. Will Never go there again. Do not recommend would give zero stars if I could. When I called to see if the car was there the guy said no it's at the other location. So I called there and it wasn't there either. Today I picked up my mom from work and the SEATBELT on the passenger side does not work. This car lot sold me a car and the seat belt does not work!!
