We found a metal shaving in the food. Eat at your own risk. We stopped eating once found.

There was a dead cockroach in my food, I didn't notice until I was almost done eating.

Service is great. Ambiance is great; it's what I would expect from a store of its size. Food is... a little meh. I wasn't in love with the sesame chicken and crab ragoon. The sesame chicken was soggy, and the sauce seemed goopy (the sauce leaned a little too much to the gelatinous side for my tastes). The crab ragoon shell was chewy and bendy, NOT crispy. As far as my experiences with American-Chinese restaurants go, this one was a 3 star. Just my experience.

Supposedly H5. General Tso's Chicken, BUT THIS IS STRAIGHT PLASTIC

Food was fake. This restaurant covers plastic and sells them off as "chicken." I would be wary in any thin you buy from this restaurant. Most definitely a food safety hazard!

I wanted Chinese Food. I should have known it wouldn't be authentic. Why did I pay attention to the flyer where it said New York Style. Such a piece of crap. There is nothing "authentic" or "New York Style" about this food. I ordered Shrimp Lo Mein with Fried Rice. It cost me $2 to have shrimp added to the fried rice. It literally had one Shrimp in the Fried Rice. ONE!!!!!!! Where they do that ? Charge me extra money for one tiny salad shrimp. My total was $17 for those two items and an egg roll. I was so heated when I opened my food. Shrimp Lo Mein barely had any vegetables in it. It was absolutely tasteless. How can that be? There was no sauce with it either. The driest Lo Mein I have ever had this side of creation. How do you mess up Lo Mein? How???? The fried rice was just as bad. Tasteless, dry and hard. Like the rice was old or something. I never give these kind of reviews but I should have paid attention to the previous reviews. I ordered this food on Beyond Menu. The man that delivered it was confused as well because he had multiple orders for this location. I don't know why they didn't put the names on the orders. It was a mess.

Take out hot and sour soup.

We were a party of 5 and found both the food and the service to be inconsistent. The Food: Most dishes were mediocre or worse. The Three Cups Chicken (1/5) was the worst I've ever had. The Hong Kong Style Shrimp (1/5) was just bland, tasteless fried shrimp. The Lamb with Scallion (2/5) was far too salty. The only "average" dish was the Spicy Beef and Tendon (3/5), but one decent dish can't save a meal this poor. The Service & Billing: The service was quite slow during our visit. We waited a long time for the check and eventually ended up packing our own leftovers and heading to the front counter to pay so we could head out. I was also surprised to see an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill, especially since it was calculated on the total after tax ($23.07 tip on a $106.80 subtotal). While I understand automatic tips for groups, it felt a bit high due to poor services. There are a lot of great dining spots in the area, but based on this disappointing visit, I'm sure I would not return to this one.

The lady that took our order was very nice and she packed our to go order with care. The food was ok. We ordered orange chicken extra spicy, hunan beef extra sauce, and fried dumplings. We also ordered hot & sour soup and egg drop soup. Both soups needed seasoning (salt). Neither of our entrees came as ordered - orange chicken wasn't spicy (even though we request extra spicy) and we did not get extra sauce with the hunan beef (or if it was 'extra' the dish would have been dry to begin with). After eating, we were confused by the ratings and looked at the reviews a bit closer. Most reviews talk about the fried rice and wings - I guess we ordered the wrong type of food.

We found a restaurant not far from the matcha shop. It felt more like a Chinese takeout spot than a traditional sit-down restaurant, so there wasn't much to speak of in terms of decor. We decided to share everything we ordered. The first dish we tried was the Szechuan noodles. The flavor was excellent, but unfortunately, the dish arrived only lukewarm, as it appeared to have been sitting for a while before being brought to the table. Next, we ordered soup dumplings, but the restaurant accidentally brought out pan-seared dumplings instead. Thankfully, they let us keep them while they prepared our original order. The pan-seared dumplings were actually very good--piping hot and full of flavor. When the soup dumplings finally arrived, they were decent but didn't quite live up to the pan-seared version and lacked the same level of flavor. Finally, our Szechuan chicken arrived. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. The chicken was crispy with a great spice profile that delivered the classic Szechuan kick without being overwhelming. It was served with fried rice, which was fine but nothing particularly memorable. Overall, the experience was good but not exceptional. The food had some strong points, especially the Szechuan chicken and pan-seared dumplings, but the restaurant ultimately felt more like a solid Chinese takeout spot than a destination dining experience.
