Main Moon is beyond great. The portions are huge, the food was hot and fresh, and it's worth every penny you pay. The crab rangoons are the best I've ever had. Super crispy and huge! You get 8 big crab rangoons that are filled with the cream cheese and crab mix -- and generously so. The entire to go box was filled to the brim with fried rice and chicken, and I got extra sweet and sour sauce without even asking. 100/10, recommend. I recently got one of their menus in the mail and was craving Chinese food on a cold day so decided to give it a try! They offered a lunch special on weekends so I got the Szechuan shrimp, chicken chow mein, Kung pao chicken and chicken in garlic sauce. All orders came with an egg roll, soup (we went with egg drip soup) and fried rice for under $7! The egg roll was super crispy and tasted great! The soup was also really tasty and warm. The dishes were flavorful however there wasn't a whole lot of chicken in there, and I wish there was a bit more spiciness! The shrimp dish came with 5 jumbo sized shrimp so that was plentiful. Overall, the food was really filling ( I still feel full 5 hours later) and the taste was good; however, I don't think this is my favorite Chinese takeout place. But, for the price, this place is perfect for anyone looking for a filling meal! read more

I've made several visits here for takeout and have been consistently pleased with the food. This small family run business cooks up some good and quick food. It's made to order and they also give a pretty generous portion at a very reasonable price point. They have a pretty large menu too. Main Moon is located in the Publix Shopping off of McGinnis Ferry Rd. They have a few tables available inside but it's pretty snug. Most of the customers I see when I'm there is taking their food to go. I wish though that they didn't charge $.50 for hot sauce or yum yum sauce. Their shrimp or house lo mein is probably one of our favorites along with their Mongolian beef. Love the fresh and plentiful veggies that come in the dishes that come with veggies. Also, they give a good protein ratio for each dish. Definitely check them out if you're looking for good Chinese takeout in the area! read more

Diner beware! Have gone here for many years, always good until last year. I'd find fatty pork pieces in the fried rice & lo mein, and one entree had sand in it, obviously something wasn't washed. An eggroll had something rectangular and hard in it, unidentifiable. I told them about it and they were sorry but it kept happening. But the last straw was moldy, yes moldy egg in the soup. Never again. I am done. I am so disappointed in what was once a quality restaurant, and I like to support small businesses, but this is beyond unacceptable. I am afraid to eat their food. I'm the past six months, prices have gone up 40%, and the quality has gone to total dumps. "Sautéed" string beans were soggy. As if they were boiled for a long time. Probably they use frozen string beans. And why would a dish named "sautéed string beans" be made mostly of onions and carrots. Terrible. Egg roll tasted fishy. I've never experienced such a revolting egg roll. Inedible. Chicken with snow peas... excessive garlic. And I normall love garlic. And the snow peas themselves: no crunch whatsoever. Soggy. I ordered fried chicken wings. The wings were clearly cooked in some sort of pan that wasn't cleaned because you can taste and smell the curry left over on my fried chicken wings. Ive been coming to Danny's place for almost 10 years. I have tried literally everything on the menu. I enjoy their steamed dumplings. They aren't homemade but they do the trick with a beefed up ponzu sauce. I have them add green onions and sesame seeds with red chili. They fill my up and they're good. You always get cooked to order Chinese food and for the money it's a good deal. Sometimes the quality isn't where it should be but Danny and his family work very hard to make their little mom and pop restaurant go. I will say they should spend more time cleaning and organizing the little eating area but for the money and I always have a full belly and I like supporting young go getters trying to make a living in America. read more

My husband and I regularly get delivery from here. We have had Mongolian beef, sesame chicken, general tao chicken as well as egg rolls, spring rolls, crab rangoons and pot stickers. I'd say all dishes are above average and the portions are huge. Mongolian beef is very flavorful and tender-lots of onions so beware. Sesame is good-exactly what I'd expect. General tso is one of the best I have had in the area-it is the perfect amount of spice and it has a good crunch which isn't always the case for a delivery meal. I ordered shrimp pad thai and i got watery noodles with undercooked shrimp, i also ordered general tso;s chicken and got rice and breaded chicken with little seasoning, and fried pot stickers that came to us boiled. After two bites we threw it in the trash and called to get a refund. I was yelled at after refusing an offer of different food, then after they hung up on me they called back not even a minute later saying the only way id get a refund is if they could come back to my house and get the food back. We said sure if you want it come take it. I have never had such terrible "chinese" or "thai" food in my life and terrible customer service. I will never ever EVER eat here again! read more

I had the Sesame Chicken Lunch Special. It came with an egg roll, crab raggon and a choice of soup. The egg drop soup was heavy. Like a gel like soup. The fried rice was crunchy and dry. The chicken was hard. I didn't eat the crab and the egg roll was VERY bland. Now the restaurant. It's not the greatest. Definitely needs redecorating. The floor and tables were not clean (how I don't know cause they weren't busy). The plastic silverware was just out for everybody to touch and flys to land on. Just not clean. Not everything is a home run, but I'm addicted to the Roast Pork Fried Rice, and Sesame Chicken (recommend to get sauce separate and dunk while eating). This place is great! The steamed chicken and vegetables were really fresh with a wide variety of veggies. Also the veggies didn't have that weird clear gel consistency all over them like some chinese take-out. I ordered egg drop soup (pretty good) and got a free egg roll with a coupon. The egg roll was good because it wasn't over fried, just crispy. My food came with some kind of thick oyster sauce on the side that was great. The Mongolian beef and pork fried rice were also really tasty with good spices. This is the best and healthiest take-out I've gotten from a chinese place ever. Plus they deliver! My food arrived in 10 minutes, literally. I've lived in this area for 11 years and based on the other places nearby (pearl of china, pearl lien) this place definitely tastes better and is cheaper.
