This salon is amazing!!! They literally do it all. I got my eyelash extensions done here 50$ and they were individual mink lashes that look natural not like those other bergenline salons that give you that big clumpy look. My lady took her time she had her own individual room where you lie down and listen to classical music playing in the background. She explains about the lashes and with hers you can wet your face and lashes after 12 hours. Then I got my hair done here. Went for a wavy look and it came out exactly how I wanted it. I got a wash, blow dry, and she used a curling wand that came out to 25$. I came out feeling fabulous. I was complimented on all day! Definitely need to come here. They get packed for eyebrow threading and henna so try to come in earlier in the day. Def my new go to salon! read more

Is this place the most glamorous, no but will you leave feeling glamorous - hell ya! Its pretty simple here, you walk in, sign in, and sit and wait. The wait can vary between a few minutes to possibly 15 minutes. Its $7 cash for your brows and if you pay with your card its $8. They have a few girls here and they do such a great job on your brows. Unethical business practice and I wonder what they base prices on if they are quoting multiple prices for the same service to different people. Great place to get eyebrows threaded! My boyfriend and I walked in and were immediately serviced. This was my boyfriend's first time getting his eyebrows threaded and he says that it didn't hurt at all! I'm picky about my eyebrows, and they did exactly what I asked. And all for $7 per person! It's not fancy. You might have to wait a long time to get your brows done. But my eyebrows look better than they ever have before, and it's only $5. Worth the wait. My daughter got her eye brows done they did an awesome job I went with a different person and it came out ok wish I would have waiting for who did my daughters eye brows . They lost a star due to customer service . When I was done with my eyebrows no aloe or lotion was put on as the other girls do . They also just walk away without telling you that they are done . I got a manicure and pedicure done here . Girls did a good job but they were rushing to be done . I could tell by the nails being different lengths . If I'm treating myself to getting a manicure and pedicure I don't want to feel as though I'm imposing on someone . That's how I felt . They would huff and puff everytime someone came in asking to get their nails done after they finished talking to them . Sanguita does the best brows. I use to travel and pay much more $$$$$ to get the eyebrow look I was going for. I stopped by this location as a quick fix and was glad I did. Parking is scarce, location needs updating and there is a wait at times (no greater than 10 minutes, the most). Coincidentally, some of my girlfriends and I learned that we all go to Sanguita. The fact that you pay only seven dollars for an eyebrow thread is nice. I tip an extra 7 dollars if it's done right. It's my face you're dealing with, so I'm not going to be cheap. The little things count to me and I notice them, from cleanliness to the proper steps used in a manicure. I've been a part of the beauty industry for almost 10 years now. Since, I am known to be a very generous tipper, please don't skip those little things. The women that thread on the left are fine, and the older woman on the right in the front does not do anything. She doesn't add aloe or powder, or rub the redness out of your eyebrows. It's good if you avoid that woman on the front to the right. Her work is lazy. Now, a pedicure is really basic, it's 15. Big Fan of Rashmi! Not a big fan of the location for two reasons. One is, parking is insane. Especially during late afternoons and evenings on both weekends and weekdays. Make sure you have quarters for the meters! Second reason, the music in the salon is so loud it makes me want to yell out and say " Please, stop it!" I understand the majority of the hairstylist are hispanics and the music can be fun but it is a Salon not a lounge. I have been coming here for at least 4months now and consistently Rashmi has done an amazing job with my brows and lips and anything else that needs cleaning. She's my genie. Great place to get the eyebrows done. I would definitely recommend it. I have big bushy eyebrows that are extremely hard to tame but Rashmi does a wonderful job. The pain is excruciating (not sure if it's because my hair is so thick or because she's rough) but it's well worth it for the ten minutes I'm sitting in the chair. They charged me $60 for a fill in - the design did not look like the one I wanted and my nails looked super thick and uneven. After a week and a half most of them are already coming off. I have had my hair done here a couple of times...quick trims and blow out-really good, but it is Anna that keeps me coming back. $20 mani/pedi and she is super thorough!! If you regularly thread your eyebrows, you know that when you find someone who does a good threading job you shouldn't let anyone else touch your eyebrows. In the past, I've made the mistake of changing from one eyebrow threading person to another and then ended up having a disastrous experience with eyebrows that were too thin. At Super Brows, Rashmi is the only person who I let touch my eyebrows. She is absolutely fantastic and has given me the best eyebrow shape I've ever had. Had to go here twice in a pinch because my normal spot was a bit out of the way. Great shaping work, but somewhat rude and the place could use some love. The first time I went the woman did a great shaping job but I had to ask her to massage the red out, and the second time I went the woman just walked away when she was done. She didn't check to make sure I was happy and didn't offer me aloe, lotion or anything else for that matter and then looked at me like I was nuts when I only tipped her a dollar. I've been going to this place for the last year now to get my eyebrows threaded (a friend recommended it, otherwise I never would've known the place existed!) on a regular basis. I've never had anything else done there but as far as the threading goes, they're awesome. I've had my eyebrows done by a few different women and they always turned out great. True, not all of the women work the same way (some are slower, some skip the powder, etc.) but regardless of who you get, you really won't go wrong, especially for the price. Plus, if you want something done a particular way, all you have to do is ask, they staff are all pretty nice. I always ask them to concentrate on cleaning up certain areas, just to be on the safe side. No appointments necessary for threading, you can just walk in, and you'll leave looking great. I've never experienced a long wait there, I think the longest I ever waited was maybe 15-20 minutes. Usually they take me right away. Finding parking on Bergenline can be tough so be warned, you might have a to park a block or so away and walk to the salon, or park on a side street...either way, make sure you have quarters for the meters to be on the safe side. The salon appears to be clean and all the staff I've interacted with there have been polite, friendly, and helpful. I'm tempted to go there and try their other services as well. The people that work in this salon dont have any professional training! MIKE the guy that does the fake lashes uses some crazy super permante glue and literly rips your eyelshes with the fake ones. This was the worst experenice i had in my life. i waited 3 weeks after to take the fake lashes off and they did not come off for shittt!. he told me its easy just baby oil and warm water. fucking liar. i was in my bathroom for about 2 hours trying to take off those eyelashes and only one little pieve of the eyelash came off and my REAL eyelashes came right off with it. at this point i almost started to cry! i called MIke and asked him what i can do to take these eyelashes off and he said i dont knowww just baby oil I dont knoww.. and then he hung up on me. the next morning i had to go take them off at another salon and the lady couldnt even take them off , she couldnt believe the type of glue that he had put on my eyes. when she was down i probably had 5 eyelashes on each of my eyes.the worst experience i have ever had in my life. read more
