Banana Bread Old Fashioned & Papa's Pickup Truck

I'm not sure when this opened, I noticed it this summer, but we didn't try it until Saturday 11/30 around 9:30pm. It's a cozy space with super comfy bar stools! The two bartenders took great care of us. To drink he had Papa's Pickup Truck and I had the Banana Bread Manhattan. Both drinks were delicious! We will absolutely be back!

It is an adorable restaurant, very comfortable, and smells like grandma has been cooking all day on a Sunday. Our server was INCREDIBLE, brutally honest when we asked questions or for her opinion. My husband ordered the chicken Alfredo and noted that it was very bland with "crunchy" pieces throughout. I ordered the shrimp scampi, on recommendation of our server, and the dish itself was incredible, but the shrimp were very small and so rubbery and overcooked that they were nearly hard to chew. I told my husband that I would love that dish without the shrimp, as the shrimp detracted from the dish overall. We were a little disappointed they didn't offer any sort of salad or bread service. My house Pinot Grigio was tasty and paired great with our meal. It's literally within walking distance of our home, so we may try it again down the road, but it just wasn't the local home run I was hoping for.

Two Tonys was an ok spot for a relaxing meal that both adults and kids would enjoy. The food was acceptable, not earth-shattering good Italian, but filling. Service was good. Restaurant clean and felt inviting. Easy to find location with lots of parking. After reading reviews I took the hint and got a reservation and I am glad I did. This place gets busy.

Italian sausage fra diavolo. Was good. Husband wasn't blown away by it though.

The cherry spritz, mama I dream of it still . My only qualm is that I am a stickler for good glassware ~ I would like to see the beverages with a stem. And based on the aesthetic I know the owner could find some classic glassware. We need more places like this in GR, and I need more POH in my LIFE.

Popping in on the Friday after Thanksgiving with a friend around 9:30pm, here's my experience. 1) Cocktails: Their menu is large and includes cocktails, wine, beer, non-alcoholic drinks, and small bites. My friend ordered a seasonal cocktail and I started with the Passion Spritz, which was my favorite with passion fruit and guava. For my second drink, I ordered the French 75, which was average. It has good taste, but it came with a large ice cube. The cocktail was more watered down than ones I've had chilled v. with an ice cube. 2) Service: It was attentive and friendly. Throughout our stay, the servers checked in with us at appropriate times. All were approachable. 3) Space: It's simple yet chic with plenty of places to sit at the bar, at tables, and on couches. If you want a great place to catch up with friends, go here!
