Charleston Blvd, Suite 104), and had an excellent experience. The office is clean, modern, and well organized. The staff was professional, and attentive during my visit. Dr. Velazquez is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and takes the time to listen and explain care clearly. Horrible office horrible staff incompetent back office don't waste your time here. Please go somewhere else. You will not get medication's refilled and be out for weeks at a time you will not be able to communicate with the staff you'll be bugging the person that answers the phone by waking them up out of their bed Absolutely ridiculous. Awful customer service. They kept checking to see who was signed in in the list. The same people were sitting in the lobby for hours waiting, only to be told they hadn't finished checking in. A father and son checked in, both had the same name with the son being junior, the front desk didn't understand how they could both have the same name. Once it was resolved, another staff member got confused and called them both up again. Their name was called to go back and the son asked which one they needed-again much confusion and she decided to take them both back because she did not know. Sure enough when another nurse came for someone, they called the same name and was confused that no one answered. Another patron had to explain the situation and she was also confused and left shaking her head. A patron asked for payment records from the previous year and was told they do not have records. The patron was trying to dispute a payment saying that he has already paid and was told they do not keep any payment records. I had an appointment at 11:15, showed up 30 min early since I was a new patient and sat in the lobby for over 2 hrs before walking out. Why schedule appointments if the Dr. Cannot follow them. The young lady that work at the office she's the person who process referrals I have to say that she is one of the worst unprofessional person I ever met in my life! I was a patient here for several years and I felt that I was receiving adequate care for the first two years. The office staff always has a high turnover, usually rude, and leave you on permahold when you call. They call to confirm appointments you didn't make or you make an appointment and it gets canceled that day for "an emergency " or the office is locked when you get there (after 3pm, usually on Friday). Waiting room time can be up to an hour even with an appointment. My health concerns were not addressed appropriately during the last few appointments so I found a new doctor. read more

Another low patient care place in Las Vegas. I do not know why I am surprised. Canceled twice on my appointments in a span of month and a half. The Dr. seems to have knowledge, but is it worth it when I keep on getting canceled? It is ridiculous. read more

This is around my 4th time coming and I do like this place alot. Dr. Velazquez is polite but very straight forward. He tells you how it is and that is important being a medical professional. Not sure how this place can be open and operating when we have the front desk chitchatting away and taking about other things than speeding up the process of check in. Another thing why schedule someone at 1:30 pm with Dr. Velazquez knowing he has a conference meeting at that time. Dr. Velazquez is great. I went in due to a massive ear pain and he immediately knew what the issue was. The most that I loved about Dr Velazquez is that he took the time to listen and conduct a complete diagnostic not like other doctors offices that they rush you out. I highly recommend Dr. Velazquez and from today moving forward he has become my primary physician. read more

Ricardo Velazquez is an embarrassment of a so called "Doctor". I have been dealing with symptoms for over 3 years and no Doctor can figure out whats wrong with me. This doctor said I was immune to HSV after reading my blood test which made me laugh. If I was immune there would already be a cure for HSV, I would be patient 0. I then told him that I have had cold sores so how am I immune to HSV. He changed the subject right away. Im in my early 30's and I explained I have had pain in my legs and feet constantly everyday, my eyes and muscles always twitch constantly like im having no control over muscles. Dr Velazquez told me that it was all normal and he gets those symptoms too. He then told me to come back in a year. What a joke of a Dr. I would like to see other Dr's read this post to see if what im experiencing is normal lol read more

I saw Dr. Velazques for the first time today. My fiancé and I came here to setup PCP. Today's visit was good. Timing was less than 1 1/2 hours for both. He listened and gotten all my needs and fiancés needs taken care of. I hope he stays my PCP. It's tough establishing primary care here in Vegas because so many doctors move offices and stop accepting certain insurance. I got in with him quick for a new patient and has been easy setting up follow up care. Give him a chance! Not sure if the reviews from 10 months ago and longer are with the same staff or doctor. However my experience was different and I liked today's visit. read more

Adriana is extremely unprofessional and rude and should not be working at a health care facility. I need a referral to see a specific provider and she informed me to contact my insurance which I did and as expected a referral has to come from a PCP. she refused to take down the information and placed me on hold to transfer me to the person in charge of referrals she later came on the line and asked to take down my information since the referral person was "busy" she also stated Dr. Velasquez only issues referrals to a specific doctor and does not issue referrals to other providers. I asked to speak to management or an administrator and she stated they do not have one in office then she later says she is "busy" not sure who is in charge of this clinic but the staff is completely incompetent . I am able to go to any provider of my choice as long as they are within my network and a referral is issued from a pcp. I reached out to my insurance regarding this issue as I am sure the office/Dr is in breach of their contract. read more

My whole family and I see Dr. Velasquez for our primary care. This doctor is absolutely amazing. I love that he takes his time with patients and answers any questions you might have without feeling like he is rushing you. He is very professional and understanding. The only downside is yes; there is a slight waiting time. But now in days everywhere you go you have to wait. I dont mind the wait if I know that I'm going to be treated by a wonderful doctor. We have been seeing this doctor for approximately almost 10 years and we have no complaints about this office. So if you are looking for a primary doctor that doesn't rush you. I called trying to set up an appointment first i was asked what insurance I had I told the lady I believe her name was Mildred (not so sure ) and she said ok hold on in a rude manner I was on hold for 10 mins I hung up called back and she answered very rude again saying please hold I decided to wait after being on hold for 20 mins I hang up again and called back this time I got a different lady her name is María Elena she was more nice she asked me to hold I said no I've been on hold for 30 mins she said I'm sorry please hold I have 1 person in front of you surprisingly she came back less than a minute I did not schedule since they were booking pretty far . I know Drs offices get busy and you have to put people on hold sometimes but 30 min hold time just to schedule an appointment is not professional they need to work on their hold times no one wants to be on hold for soo long . read more

where do I even begin, two weeks ago I called this place to see if they were accepting new patients and they were so i was glad because i had people tell me what a great the doctor was here. I already gave the staff my insurance information and all that and they set me up with an appointment on a late afternoon, so when i went to office i filled out paperwork and waited a little more then a hour to be called in and the staff tells me they cant accept me because my insurance office is closed and they dont know what my co-pay would be. I didn't say anything because mistakes happen, even though they should have known to get all that info checked when i first called since insurance companies are usually in other time zones. So the office staff told me to come in another day. I told them it will have to be next Wednesday they said "next Wednesday at 10 am" so that works out. Well i come in that following appointment they scheduled me in and im literally waiting outside their office door for them to open and the office staff calls me and tells me "I'm calling to confirm your appointment tomorrow (thursday) at 10". okay now im really pissed off because this is the second time this office staff does not know how to do their job. Maybe they are just incapable of doing it? I was furious and i had the right to be, because they can not do a simple thing, I wont lie i cursed out a storm. Basically what I'm saying is dont waste your time coming to this place because they surely will waste your time. What sucks the most is everyone says nothing but good things about the doctor but i wouldn't know because the office staff here are not capable of doing their job for you to see the doctor. read more

With all the problems with stolen data and identity thief why in the world would they required you provide them with your Social Security to be seen by the doctor. Is not required by any law, in fact is not needed for insurance claims. Sorry but I do not want to risk having your identity stolen. Will look for another Dr. that live in this century and their office managers are up to date on office protocol. read more

I will never go back to this office. They don't care about patients, it's strictly about the all mighty $$$$$$. I have double coverage, and have never had a problem at other offices with my insurance. But this office, I was told to pay a 20.00 copay, even though I'm double covered. And since I haven't had to pay at other offices, I didn't feel the need to bring my atm card with me. And was told I couldn't be seen by the doctor cause I didn't have my 20.00 copay. I've waited to see the doctor for 2 months . And I really needed to be seen, due to some recent hospitalizations. Since patients are not the priority, I wouldn't trust my life with the staff or the doctor. read more
