Egg Roll and Fried Chicken Wings
    Brie F.

I placed an order from Grubhub for steamed shrimp and broccoli with brown rice, garlic sauce on the side and two orders of fried chicken wings, chopped up with an egg roll. The food took about 30-40 mins to get to us. My friend didn't eat her food right away but we did share some of my wings which were fried to perfection and delicious. My egg roll was also good and surprisingly not greasy. She ended up taking her food for lunch the following day and said it was delicious. Now I know where to order from if I don't feel like making a stop at King Wok.

It's a take out place except they have Mexican options on the menu as well. I think there are two or three tables inside to eat in. Typical take out set up. You order at the counter and wait for your food to come out. Its cash only as well. They deliver as well as I have used Seamless to order from them. The food is decent. I haven't tried the Mexican options but Im sure its decent.

    Gigante quesadilla

Cash only. Great and giant "gigante" quesadilla for under $10 (before tip). Loaded with steak and chicken, and plenty of veggies too. If I'm not mistaken they make the tortillas in house, respect that kind of ethic. Huge menu, Chinese food is pretty good too, and large portions. Looks like I found my spot until I change hotels.

This is the guacamole. Smh no thanks.

It's a chinese and Mexican spot. Seemed good to try. Ordered 2 steak burritos with guac. With side Order of nachos with guacamole. Ordered thru the "Eat24" yelp app. Food took an extra 30 minute than advertised to get delivered. Oh.... and. The spot is literally 4 blocks from my place. - the guacamole which I paid $3 for, Was watery and runny and tasted like they watered down the avocado and overfill with onions.. I paid for extra guac in my steak burrito and barely got any. And a pet peeve. I paid $30 for food, and wasn't even given napkins. NOT okay. The only reason for not 1 star, is Becuase the burrito was alright. And the nachos were fresh. I would skip this one if very hungry.. and if you want proper burritos and guac.

    had their food for birthday.

They have a larger dining room that's perfect for big groups, so getting everyone together is comfortable and stress-free. The food is solid, classic Chinese comfort fare -- flavorful, satisfying, and yes, unapologetically rich in MSG (the good kind that makes everything extra tasty). The Fish Fillet Home Style is always a hit with the younger crowd, and the Double Cooked Pork is another standout -- think lechon-style pork belly tossed with plenty of vegetables in a savory brown sauce. That combo somehow gets the kids happily eating their veggies too. They also do Hot & Sour Soup right -- nicely balanced with the perfect tang and heat. The sautéed snow pea leaves with garlic is a staple order for us, and the pan-fried noodles are consistently delicious with great texture. The crispy garlic chicken was surprisingly good as well -- super flavorful and cooked just right. Portions are generous, making it ideal for sharing family-style. The staff are friendly and quick, and the place is clean and well-kept, which makes dining there even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a reliable, no-frills spot for big group dining with satisfying dishes, Wo Kee delivers every time.

They still have clear partitions between each table post COVID. Front of house service is mediocre, it's hard to get their attention even when there are only 2 tables of guests. The wait time for food is over 20 minutes long during slow foot traffic. We ordered the dimsum and portions were larger than your typical ones you get. Flavor was delicious and if you need sauces, there are complimentary chili crisp oil, soy sauce and white pepper. Use at your own discretion as the condiments are not labeled with best before dates. Bathroom is accessible. Cleanliness and odor could use some work. Overall, I suggest ordering ahead of time or do a quick take out order if you are on a time crunch.

I was one of them when I first visited this restaurant about a decade ago and did so during my recent session again. Though they may be one of the best options for traditional Chinese food in the area, comparing them to restaurants in Flushing would land them on the lower end of the spectrum. With that said, they do certain things relatively well, namely the dumplings. I prefer their pan fried dumplings over the boiled because of the skin texture. For some reason, the boiled ones felt a bit tough and chewy, while the pan fried dumplings were better, especially since it has a crispy crust on the bottom. Fillings I have tried are chive & pork, as well as cabbage & pork. Both were quite good and stuffed to the brim. I also do like their wontons with spicy sauce, which has a shrimp & pork filling. Also plump and juicy, these wontons are quite delicious. The sauce is not really all that spicy, but flavorful. As for other items I have tried, most were not bad but below average. That includes the Dan Dan Mein, Beijing Style Noodles, and the Sesame Pancake with Beef. One thing I would recommend to skip would be the Hot & Sour Soup, which was neither hot or sour. If you are in the neighborhood and craving some dumplings or wontons, then seek out this little shop. However, if you want any other types of Chinese food, I would advise you to skip.

It's changed hands several times over the years that we've lived in the neighborhood, but the food has been pretty consistent. There's not much variation in Beef & Broccoli, Sweet & Sour Pork or Fried Chicken Wings. What has changed with the current owners is that they've tried to branch out from the cookie cutter Chinese takeout by expanding into other Asian cuisines, such as Thai. The main printed menu still has the standards, but new hand written menu signs hang from the wall with dishes such as Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice (*w/ choice of protein). We still like to get our regular Pan Fried Pork Dumplings, our favorite Cold Sesame Noodles, Sesame Chicken (or Sweet & Sour or General Tso's) & Moo Goo Gai Pan. I like to add a large quart of Wonton Egg Drop soup for good measure because I love soup. It's Chinese-American comfort fast food, not something my mom would make, but it gets the job done quick. Pretty much any size order you throw at them, it will be ready in 20 minutes for pick-up. Those blazing hot woks are no joke. And you get a free can of soda for every $25 spent. You can also get a 32 oz quart of their homemade iced tea that is super sweet, but is a great thirst quencher in the summer. They take credit card payment (not sure which ones, probably Visa & MC) without additional fees and they are closed on Mondays.
