First, I love that they mark the cars by who has an appointment and who doesn't. Jaime called me when I got home..... he discovered my warranty had not expired yet so repair was covered! Called again to let me know part wouldn't be in until the next morning so I would get it back Saturday. I asked if it would be ready by 11:00 because I had to be somewhere at 1:00, If not I would pick it up by closing. He said he'd try his best to get it done by 11:00. I saw this car online, it fit the bill for what I was looking for. I called in to inquire about it. Spoke for several minutes with a man named Peter. Peter stated at the end of the call that he wanted to help me, I just had to come up with x amount of dollars for the down-payment and take care of the insurance and we would be good to go. I told him it was going go take some time to save that amount of money, and it did. In the meantime he texted me on at least 3 different occasions afterward, asking me if I had the money yet. I told him no, not yet. Finally I was able to save the money, and was ready to look at the car and possibly buy it. Pete tells me it's at a storage location in long Beach and that I could go look at it "they wouldn't give me any problem". I go over there, there is no staff to show Me the car. He says to talk to someone named "Mr martin". Instead I get a call/text from someone named Jules. I later learn that Mr Martin and Jules are the same person. I miss the call and Jules martin doesn't call back. We kept trying to get a hold of these guys to see the car but they didn't respond. We left and followed up the next day (saturday). They told me they wouldn't be in that day but to try setting up an appointment for Sunday. At this point I'm mainly speaking to Peter because Jules wasn't responding other than asking for a copy of my id. When texting Peter he says I probably won't get financed (forgetting our conversation a month ago). He also seemed to want me to deal with mr martin to make the deal. Later that night for some reason i got a group text. It was between peter and mr martin but i dont think he realized he had attached my number. In the text he told Mr martin to help me the next day and that I just needed proof of income. Mr martin responds with a derogatory, s.exist text calling me a disgusting bug because of my credit and saying they would drag me by the hair if needs be. (See attached image). Well...im pretty shocked. And disgusted. If this is how these people feel, do not do business with them. Mr martin is a crude individual that will take your money, talk trash and laugh while doing it. It is so sleazy. Makes you want to take a shower. Horrible. This guy really shouldn't have a job after this. Apparently he thinks it's funny to hurt women. It's really disgusting laughing about abuse. Fire that guy.

I am very careful with dealers because I have had a terrible past experience purchasing from…read moresmaller "'mom and pop style dealers". They were transparent with me that that the dealership is basically 2 dealers, a Mitsubishi dealer that they essentially use to sell their other more sports and exotic cars. They are a good decent dealer, they had the typical mark ups and unnecessary add ons though. They do buy their cars from auctions, but I believe they vet their cars and make sure ensuring is working properly. At least in my experience. Thankfully my car had low mileage and has had no issues, purchase 9 months ago. Don't buy their add ons, it's basically a scam.. other than that the dealer was nice. Test drive went well, they even bought me lunch while we negotiated. After my purchase I wasn't initially able to take it home because I drove to the dealer, so they offered to drive the car to my house 45 miles away right after my purchase which ended pretty late around 9pm. They took an uber home after dropping me off, even found the spare key that originally did not come with the car. I guess they maybe misplaced it so only sold me the car with one key, but later contacted me and mailed me the key which was really nice of them. Thanks Diego for working out a deal with me, buying me lunch, and doing all the extra stuff. I do recommend working with Dealer Diego at Mitsubishi Redondo. Their aggregate rating was kind of low so I looked at the details. The only complaints they had were mistakes the DMV made and somebody that only talked to Joe on the phone. The guy that talked to Joe on the phone didn't like Joe. Now Joe was probably just in the middle of something because it's a small shop and he and Sue do everything But that's just the first impression maybe catching Joe at a bad time. I like the bus because it had a wheelchair lift and I need one because this bus fulfills my dreams of traveling in spite of challenges. Then we cut a hard deal with them. Negotiated real well and they gave us a good deal, which I'm sure they weren't happy with. That being said even though we negotiate hard with them a bit they were really kind and gracious. Went far out of their way to make sure everything went our way. They bent over backwards did way more than anybody could ask a car dealership to do. They're honest and decent people. And yeah Joe doesn't always have the best phone skills but his hearts in the right place. You can trust these people.
