Great availability of appointments on Sunday - they were even accommodating of my request to shift my original appt time from 12p to 3p. It means a lot to me as a customer when I can get someone on the phone and get an appointment made/changed in less than 5 minutes! I requested Kevin for my pedicure, and he did a great job. He was apologetic for running a few minutes behind schedule (my appt was at 3, he started working on me at 3:05). He was very in tune with making sure I was comfortable throughout. He did a great job telling me what I should expect throughout (ex: they have a honey spread, and he made sure to tell me it would be cold before he started applying it.) This place does things a little differently than the usual - in a great way! Just a note: I would have liked the opportunity to provide feedback after the nails were cut and filed with regard to length and shape. Love this salon, very clean and friendly. But, some nail technicians are better than others! Suki is way too rushed-removes polish and does the treatment like the building is on fire. She cuts nails too short and really thins nails out too much when removing dipped polish. Diyaa is sweet but very slow and needs to redo the polish multiple times. read more

I live further away now and I still drive over 30+ min to get my mani/pedi here if time permits. I've tried several other places in my area and no other places compare. I went to the lux nail salon three days ago with my daughter as a walk in. I felt a burning sensation during the pedicure and realized she must have put the callous remover too high. I now have a chemical burn on my leg, in addition to the chemical burn I am clearly starting to have ring worm where the burn occurred. This place is clearly not clean or sanitary. Absolutely horrible experience. They charge $10 to shape the nails. I originally went in with almond nails and continued to keep them as almond nails. So that wouldn't be reshaping or hardly shaping at all if that it would've been harder for them to turn them into Round or square which they say they only shaped as. They charge $20 for specific nail polish colors and they charge $10 for a crack in a nail, per nail. My grand total for just basic plane nude nails was $115. I typically get them done for $60 at most places. I would highly recommend going to BB in the colony. Clean organic ingredients and extremely friendly people. The people at castle nail do not disclose anything and then argue with you after. It was completely horrible experience. They don't even offer anything to drink. My nails chipped the same day and throughout the week continued to split and Chip and I've always had healthy nails. I had to get them completely removed and cut down and now having to repair my nails from the damage that was done. read more

Easily one of the worst pedicures I've ever had. I'm giving 2 stars simply for accommodating me as a walk-in customer. I requested a gel pedicure with gel removal and was given one nail tech to remove the gel polish I already had on and another tech to do my pedicure. I didn't think anything of it at the time but in hindsight that was a warning sign. I showed Cindy the picture with the soft pink polish so she'd understand the shape and length I like on my toes. She barely put my feet in the pedicure bowl just rubbed some green exfoliant on my legs at one point that she almost immediately wiped off. I watched her clip a couple of my nails and thought she was doing fine so I stopped watching her work, big mistake. As she was completing painting I noticed several nails had streaks and there was paint on my cuticles. I'm not sure if the polish itself was the issue because there was a big difference in the nail swatch in the book and what came out of the bottle. She redid one of my toes then I noticed my left big toe was very lumpy and streaky. I'd seen enough and simply was ready to leave. Absolutely loved coming in here for my bridal party gel manicures! They were very accommodating with slotting in my large group (especially with just a few days' notice). We came in the day before my wedding. They were also incredibly fast with getting all of our manis done so we could stay on schedule for the rest of the events we had going on. It was also very clean and modern inside the salon which we enjoyed. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is since my gel mani lasted for under a week before the gel started to chip. read more

I am not one to leave bad reviews, but my experience at this place could not have been more horrific. Not only did it take 3 hours to get dip on my nails, and a polish change on my toes, but they were wreckless with their nail tools. I counted six different times that I was cut or my skin was punctured, which is absolutely insane. I can understand once or twice but this continued to happen over and over again and it was not acceptable. Additionally, my sloppy nail job has left me with a bloody pinky and two different colors of paint on my hands...all within 12 hours of my appointment. This was by far the WORST nail salon experience I have ever had in my entire life. On top of that, it cost me nearly $40 more for my services here, than at any of the surrounding area nail salons I usually go to. My total was $110 - for a dip manicure and a polish change on my toes, NO pedicure, just a polish change, which is absolutely bonkers. I honestly don't have one positive thing I can say about this place and that's sad. Save your time and money, and go anywhere else. read more

The lash lady that I had used the other times I had been there was sitting there doing a pedicure for somebody else. Original review: The owner cancelled my appt without my knowledge bc I simply asked to change the day and I told her that I would call back if I needed to cancel it. She sounded very annoyed and unaccommodating on the phone just to reschedule and it was days in advance. So weird and obnoxious. When I show up for my appt, she had already cancelled it, and I was obviously unhappy since I specifically told her I would call back if I needed to cancel. I had to wait and I didn't get the lash lady that I normally I get. They were extremely unorganized and unapologetic because she is the owner so she thinks she can do whatever she wants but shouldn't you be nice to customers especially repeat customers that have been there multiple times? If it bothers you that much when people ask to reschedule, then you probably should hire someone else to pick up the phone if you are too good to be nice to the customers since you are the owner. I booked with castle luxury nails spa for the first time, last month. The experience was OK. I was not asked if I would like any beverages, but attributed that potentially to COVID-19. The person who did my nails, did a good job, but took a long time. My main reason for issuing so little stars, stems from the inability to receive a timely reply from them to book my next appointment. As always, I utilized yelp to initiate my request, that morning and was advised at 2pm that afternoon, past the requested time, that they were just seeing my message. When I wrote back to confirm booking the next day, I heard nothing for over a week! I then received a message a week later, advising they had just seen my message request for my appointment, the same appointment I had been requesting and communicating about less than 24 hours prior. I was very disheartened by the lack of accountability, and Felt that it was more than just a simple, we never got a message that shows sent on April 5, until a week later. If you have the time, patience, and manage to get an appointment consistently, I would highly recommend them. As for me, the experience was just a turn off.
