I tried this place because it's walking distance from my house I needed a new place to get my hair cut and styled. I was expecting someone to spend a decent amount of time on my hair because I have a lot of it and it's in lots of layers but the stylist only spent 10 minutes cutting it. She charged me 45 bucks and I felt like I could've gone to Supercuts instead. When I spoke with her the next day instead of asking if I wanted to come back in or asking for a refund she made it seem like it was my fault. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate the new COVID rules, and make sure that contact tracing is in full effect. I've been seeing Krystina for well over 10 years. She's helped me through a lot of hair journeys from extremely long hair, a pixie, and back to long. I always trust her color recommendations and she does a fantastic job of cutting my thick, unruly hair. I can't imagine ever trusting anyone else with my hair. Suzy did my hair. I wanted a balayage and instead I got streaks. My hair is severely fried and it looks nothing like what I wanted. I knew it wasn't going to turn out that blonde the first time, but it doesn't even fade, she bleached it way too high and it's uneven. On top of that, she was very unprofessional and rude. She tried to put the blame on me as to why my hair didn't turn out the way I wanted by saying I should have come in a day prior so she could look at my hair. She also was ripping on my hair and had to ask one of her coworkers what toner to use because I guess after being a hairdresser for 30+ years, she still doesn't know what she's doing. My first and last visit to this place. The appointment was for highlights and a cut with Jen, my hair is short and required very little cutting mostly just shaping. My appointment was at 2:30, I arrived 10 min early, went into the salon, stood there for several minutes, not one person including my stylist Jen, acknowledged I was there. I sat down. My stylist was at the shampoo bowl with another client. Still no acknowledgment from her or anyone, I began to wonder if I was really there, it was like I was invisible! She continued to finish that client and kept me waiting until 3:10 without even a hello! Then when she was a ready not an apology for the wait or anything. That isn't even the worst part. My hair is a mess! After complaining to her about the results of the first visit she offered to have me come back to fix it. Well what she did to "fix" it was do more of what she did the first time, it's awful! She explained it away saying the first visit was a "squeeze appt". There's a bunch more I can say but I'll get to the bill. With the minimum tip (didn't want to be tip shamed) it was $210!!!!!! I was speechless!!! I'd think twice before scheduling with Jen. Had a fashion emergency with my daughter. We were rushing around late Sunday trying to get her hair trimmed for school pictures the next day. We found this place late and Mariah, who was closing up, was more than willing to give my daughter a quick cut. Despite the time of day she was thorough and took her time to make things right. Not only is this salon not taking covid percussions seriously(not wearing masks correctly or at all, not taking temperatures upon entery, and having more than one client per hair stylist at a time) but the salon owner: Kystina Osborn, had no problem being vocal about her destain for the Black Lives Matter Movement. It was clear she did not care about making her employees clients comfortable given these sensitive times as she made clear from across the room that: "Protesters should get shot at with rubber bullets, tear gased, AND sprayed down the street with hoses." She also didn't refrain from making excuses for officers who KILLED a black individual trying justify police brutality. Her complete and utter disregard for others feelings and opinions created an unsettling atmosphere. Personally, I won't be returning given her extremely unprofessional demeanor. read more

Love love this place!! Everyone was very aware of their space, wearing masks & spraying down and cleaning after every client due to Covid. The atmosphere was friendly and made you feel very welcome & safe. Krystina did my hair and I love it!! Lara is a true hair artist. As a former hairstylist I am very picky about who does my hair. I was referred here by a co-worker that also gets her hair done by Lara. She was able to lowlight my platinum hair without it breaking off. My hair has gotten healthier, thicker and longer since I started seeing her.
