I was visiting my mom, who lives a few towns over, and she suggested we stop by New Minson Diner in Liberty. I'm so glad we did because this place was such a pleasant surprise! From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by who I believe was the owner. He was incredibly welcoming, seated me by a nice window, and checked on me throughout my meal to make sure everything was perfect. That kind of genuine hospitality is hard to find these days. I ordered the Hungry Man Special and it definitely lived up to its name! Since I only eat halal, I skipped the bacon and sausage, but the eggs and pancakes everything else were fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The coffee was excellent too--hot, fresh, and exactly what I needed. You can really tell they care about serving quality comfort food. The atmosphere is what really makes this diner special. It has that classic old-school diner charm with oldies playing in the background, families enjoying breakfast together, and a warm, welcoming community feel. It honestly lifted my spirits during a stressful time. They also have a wonderful dessert selection that looked amazing, so I'll definitely be saving room next time. If you're in the Liberty area and looking for great food, friendly service, and a cozy hometown diner, New Minson Diner is absolutely worth a visit. Best gyro EVER! Real homemade tzatsiki, French fries were crisp and fresh. The staff is so sweet and attentive. My family and I have been there over a half dozen times but I would feel perfectly comfortable going there by myself. The entire staff make you feel very welcome and at home.
