The way she did my pedicure was really sloppy I didn't like that at all I aspected at least actually doing all the basic things you would get at any nail salon and she didn't so I'm not that impressed... Worst place I've ever gotten my nails done. Not clean. The woman pulled out the cuticle cutter from this dirty box and it was all rusted. The tables were filthy from other customers filing. She over-charged me and refused to give it back claiming things I didn't even ask for. Very RUDE very UNPROFESSIONAL. and my nails came out terrible after an hour and half! read more

May did such a good job on my pedicure. I was traumatized from other salons and previous experiences with people cutting my toe nails. I would literally cringe. She saw me cringing and talked me through it, reassuring me that she would not cut me. She took her time with massaging my leg and asked if the pressure needed to be harder. She used hot stones after her massage which felt amazing. I was able to tell her what I wanted and she listened and did a great job! Thank you May. read more

This place is okay. I originally had acrylics on and wanted to take them off so I can get a new full set. When the worker was taking off my nails she only used a cuticle nipper and a metrocard to take it off which hurt( and my fingers are still hurt !! I thought they would use acetone and soak it on my nail but nope also when they use the buffer thingy there's cuts on my cuticle. And when I got home I noticed one pinky finger is shorter than the rest of the nails which makes me upset and this whole costed $52 read more

I had a hard time finding a nail place in Staten Island that does my nails exactly as I asked. I came here and Michelle did my nails and I was hooked. Every single time she delivers the exact shape/design I want. It's not a fancy place but don't be deceived by the decor. It's about the quality of the work and it's superb. I have had a pedicure there and it was nice as well. If you are into the coffin, almond, stiletto nails and cool designs, Michelle is your go to person there. I will never go elsewhere. They charge for every little thing, even the certain polish you select can cost you $2 more cause it's a "new color" I've never seen that before. I never write reviews but I had to because this is the worst nail salon I've been to. I can look past the fact that they don't have the greatest color selection but there were other issues I can't ignore. They aren't clean at all! They don't follow the proper regulations for cleaning and sanitizing. The lady that did my pedicure, Gigi, attempted to use the tools right after the man used them on the girl sitting next to me. Without even the most basic rinsing with water. They do not use the blue sanitizing liquid just a UV box which is supposed to be used WITH the blue liquid not in place of it. When I asked her for clean tools she took one from the manicure station that she had just finished working at. I would not let her use those either so she pulled a pair out of the UV box. Another example, the towels that you rest your feet on were wet when I sat down, so they didn't change them between guests either. That is disgusting because they wipe of the dead skin on those towels. There was dust and dead flies on the ground. With a quick glance you notice it's filthy, I was don't want to know what I'd find if I looked closer. To make matters worse, another client walked in who I guess had an appointment with Gigi so she rushed painting my nails. Since she didn't allow enough time for the coats to try in between, my one big toe nail smudged....the next day...when I wore a pair of pointed toed heels. It's not threat my nails were still wet and I didn't allow enough time for them to dry, 24 hours is more than enough time. I paid $20 plus $5 tip. It's a good price for a pedicure but for the quality of service I received it's overpriced. Never going back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone! read more

thought this place might be cheaper than my reg nail salon I go to (bc they started charging 60$ for gel tips off the rip no design) so I walked to this place a block away when I walked in I saw the price for gel tips was 41$ which she ended up charging 60$ bc I wanted French design (20$ extra for a simple design is insane) also charged me extra 6$ cus I wanted to pay with card she then basically forced me to give her a tip bc she insisted if I didn't have cash tip to put tip on my card like WHAT?!? I didn't even want to tip them after the shitty service I got & when I got my gel pedicure it was the worst pedicure Ever usually all the nail salons I've been to put this liquid in a bag for the bottom of ur feet to revive them & scrub away your dead skin .. this place did the most minimal thing possible she just wet my feet cut my nails and painted them and I have a bunch of nail polish on my finger tips & toes they do a sloppy job for the same price I paid at the other nail salon (which does a WAY better job) . read more

I came here because it was closer than my regular spot and I had heard some good things about them. Well , let me just say , I came in an hour and a half before closing. All I wanted was a regular manicure and a eyebrow wax. There was no wait , figure I should have been done in maybe 40 mins tops. It took over an hour an a half. The manicure , a regular 8$ manicure, was going fine until it was time for the polish. Each nail was painted slowly. And I mean slow..... Three thick coats later... Yes three.... I was done... That mani took 45 mins! Then for the wax, after complementing my brows, ten mins later, I'm given the mirror for a split second , and escorted to the drying station. I dried for ten mins, but as closing time was approaching, I left, didn't want them to wait just for me. I paid, and tipped both girls who took care of me, ( 50% tip too by the way). ..... Well, when I got home, I noticed my eyebrow had a chunk missing .. Then not even 24 hours later, my nail polish chipped and bubbled. I was not a happy camper. I gave the extra star because of their convenient location, their prices were decent.. But I will not be coming back. Thank you! read more
