Great first visit, overall. I was a walk in on a Saturday and had a minimal waiting period. The staff were polite and offered a nice selection of dip options. My nail tech was kind, checking with me on length and exactly what I wanted before jumping in. They provided a moisturizing hand massage afterwards as well. I sincerely appreciated that Kevin focused on me and my nails to ensure a quality service. Areas of opportunity: the salon is kind of small so the fumes were pretty strong and the uv lamp looked like it could use a proper cleaning. read more

Oh boy... not a good pedicure at all. Truly it was terrible. The guy that was doing the pedicure I don't think was a licensed tech. They speak in a different language you can't understand what they are saying to each other which drives me crazy. I had gel on my toe nails that needed to be removed and ask that they be soaked off, he didn't know how to do it! Then when scraping the gel off he tore my big toe nail bed (in the center, zoom in on my lf big toe) deep enough to draw a blood spot. I don't ... do N O T recommend this establishment. read more

Tried them again. Made an appointment for 2 people for pedicures several days ahead. Specifically asked for us to be at same time. Oh yes yes. Same time. NOPE. All an appointment does is put you ahead of a walk-in. That's it. They have zero idea of what a schedule is. Finally put us both in chairs, started my sister. Didn't start mine for another 1/2 hour! I was just about to say forget it. Never asked what we wanted, I finally had to ask and say I'd like to have x service. Interesting enough I was finished first (how does that work?) never got the paraffin wax I was supposed to get, the hot stone massage part was 2 minutes long. Don't waste you money going here!!!! I called at noon to see if they had any openings for gel nails on a Sunday. They said yes! At 3pm. I arrive at 3pm and waiting 50 minutes until I finally gave up. Awful. Awful. Awful. I also saw in the back all the utensils they use on people. Drying out on a towel. Pretty sure that washing them is not the correct sanitizing process. Never ever recommended. I went on a Sunday 4/23 and there were very few people in there Why it took 50 minutes? I don't know. But perhaps I got lucky and not infected with some fungus from their unsanitary items. read more

I went in for pedicure and dip manicure. The pedicure was fine. The dip "manicure" was awful. My nails were soaked in acetone to remove the previous dip. What followed was use of the electric file, nail clippers and little else. There was NO warm water soak, cuticle trimming, and minimal shaping of my nails. Because of this, my cuticles are peeling and I have numerous hang nails. The dip polish is thick and uneven. Without a doubt, the worst manicure ever. read more

Not recommended for a dip manicure! They did not let the acetone get the dip off nicely on its own and did a lot of sanding with the tool which took off a layer of my nails. Their top coat on the dip was a coat of gel polish! When I questioned this she said it was faster. My gel top coat was chipping off after 2 days which is why I prefer dip in the first place! I am new to the area and was looking for a new nail salon- still looking! read more

This is one of the few places that does SMS nails. Sadly after my visits I got an infection in my cuticles. Not sure if tools weren't clean or if they cut too far back. Not sure if I will return since it has been going on for weeks and not getting better with medication. read more

Went to VN Nails after going to another Punta Gorda nail place I refused to go back to. Service was great. There were 3 of us and they were busy. We didn't wait long and we were all seated in the most wonderful massaging chairs for a pedicure. Tony was my guy. Funny, attentive and very good at what he does. It was wonderful!! The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is that it took FOREVER (like 2 hours). I'm newer to the area and was in need of a pedicure so I checked out some places in the area and saw this one had five stars. I went in for a basic pedicure that should take not more than 30 minutes. I was in there for almost an hour. My nail technician was on his phone talking to people and checking his apps. Then he had people coming in and out for him in matters that did not concern nail services. So he constantly was getting up and even left the salon in the middle of my pedicure!!! I have never seen a nail technician so disrespectful in all my years of getting pedicures. I will NEVER be back here or recommend to anyone. read more

Fabulous! Had my first Mani-Pedi here the beginning of January and couldn't believe how well it lasted. Best cuticle trim I've ever had, I was amazed. Polish lasted on my toes for three weeks until I took it off. Very clean. They not only use liners but disinfectant after each pedi.
