    hot and sour soup

If i could do zero stars i would. To say that im disappointed is not to say ANYTHING. How would you feel if u were the one to find a hair, a FULL piece of hair, not just a small piece in your "fresh" soup? To clarify, I have fully blonde hair and my partner has short men's haircut, so this could never be ours. Very disappointed, don't go here

I have been here twice. Even though it doesn't look like much outside, it is clean & quiet inside. All lunch entrees come with fried rice & egg roll. Food is delicious and Yun provides excellent service. I also loved the Jasmine tea & the home made hot oil. I highly recommend this place. Don't let appearances fool you

I believe the best thing to come out of this pandemic is the discovery of new take out spots. I found this near my home and realized that I haven't tried many spots around me. Thank god I tried New Panda! I ordered a beef lo mein and an orange chicken for my wife. Onto the food! As always, we need to get the bad out of the way. The orange chicken wasn't exactly good, but served the purpose of filling my wife up. I personally wish it was crispier. Now, the beef lo mein was absolutely delicious. Soft noodles, amazing tasting beef and a large quantity for a cheap price. What more could I ask for! My father later ordered a shrimp lo mein and it was exactly the same. Worth the buy! Overall, my discovery of New Panda made me rethink the locations I have yet to discover in Golden. The food serves its purpose of filling you and satisfying you. Don't expect a gourmet experience, but do expect a food coma!

Delicious!!!! If you ever find your self in Golden, Co & are hungry for some yummy Chinese food, you must try this place! I typically get the same thing every time (shrimp with garlic sauce) trust me its soooo good! Its not over powering with garlic just enough & slightly sweet but Very flavorful! But tonight I tried something different, glad I did, & my friends got tasty dishes too!! Bottom left is mine (jalapeno beef) - little spicy but pretty darn good - with onions & bell peppers! Top (tofu with garlic sace) - same sauce as the one I get with shrimp & very good with tons of veggies! Bottom right - peppered shrimp - no sauce but if you like pepper give it a go - with onions & bell peppers! We also ordered the pu pu platter & that was yumm yumm!!! 2- Veg egg rolls, chicken wings(meh), crab wontons, ribs, beef, & fried shrimp!! Prices & portions are pretty good! Especially dinner portions, I usually have enough left over for another meal! For 3 adults - 1 appetizer, 3 hot teas(free refills), 3 entrees we paid around $60 + tip! Service is wonderful and staff is very friendly! If you live within 3 miles they deliver but if not still worth the drive!! I hope you give this place a try! I'm pretty sure you'll be coming back again & again for many years like me!

This is the worst chinese food I've ever had. I threw both my sesame chicken and twice cooked pork in the trash they were both inedible.

LOT FOOD FOR A GREAT COST!…read more We were HUNGRY! My Aspen (service dog loves shrimp!!) I'm the Veggie, and we were searching for a place rather close. Searching the area, we found a quiet unassuming, in a quiet neighborhood strip mall, simple place. Read the reviews, Hmmm sounds interesting. When entering in an off hour, there were other people filling the tables, "it must be good! With others' here at this time" What I found; Huge portions of lunch time food at a very reasonable cost! The Egg Drop soup was EXCELLENT, The Shrimp, well my Aspen devoured after I had one, it was plump - tender and flavorful. The Veggies, this is MY YUM and PLENTIFUL!! Fried rice - not so fried rather a steamed rice with soy, the egg roll was crisp, smaller than others (seems to be the new fashion these days) filled with wonderful veggies. Did I mention the Egg Drop Soup was DELICIOUS!!!! Our Server required being won over- at first, need to win her over with some compliments, then she smiled and giggled. This was LUNCH menu and it is plentiful and reasonable cost! The place is very clean and ample seating. Meals come quickly, be prepared. No outside seating, and it's a chilly October day. Open 6 days weekly, from 11AM till 8 or 9PM Price, extremely reasonable!!! Convenient Parking in Front. And take out is available with phone in first, or order while eating some delicious food. Definitely recommended if your in the quaint neighborhood an hungry.

For most of the time, the main service problem was that the chief waitress was often obnoxious and loud. But we put up with that until they committed an act of rudeness such that I had never experienced before in a restaurant. The events occurred on an evening in which we brought guests with us: two other adults and their two small children. They had a series of take-out orders that evening, which they were prioritizing over in-restaurant customers. For about a half hour the staff simply refused to take our order, telling us to wait and order later. Eventually, they agreed to take our drink requests---which, except for water, never came. Meanwhile, people were coming in and picking up food regularly, while we sat there and they refused to even let us get into the order queue! Finally, after we'd been there at least 45 minutes, the kids were hungry and restless, so we started to leave. The waitress saw us leaving, and came over and disingenuously asked whether we wanted to order now. We said that because of the children we couldn't wait any longer, and we left. This contemptuous treatment of faithful in-restaurant customers was too much for us, and we have never gone back.

Starting with the better items, the sesame shrimp was decent. The breading was a little unusual, but it had good flavor. Still, nothing that really stood out. The crab rangoons were also just okay. They were labeled as crabmeat cheese rangoon's, but after eating a few, it was apparent that there was no crab at all, just cheese, which was pretty disappointing. They were honestly some of the worst I have tried. The wonton soup was not great either. It did not taste like wonton soup I have had before and was also sort of bland. That said, it was still edible. Now for the bigger issues. The chicken with snow peas was extremely bland, like no seasoning was added at all. The chicken itself was watery and tasted very cheap, which made the whole dish pretty unappetizing. The beef lo mein had the same problem. I have never had lo mein this flavorless before. The noodles and beef both lacked any real taste and just did not come together well. The last thing I will say is that it is overpriced for what you get. The portion sizes are solid, but the flavor and quality do not match the price at all. I am not someone who usually criticizes restaurants or even leaves reviews, but this was a major letdown. I just want to help others avoid spending their hard earned money on food that does not live up to expectations.

Foods - Wonton Soup: 2/5 hot almost salty water with a mushy wonton in it, not something I'd order without the lunch special - Fried Rice: 2/5 very tasteless needs a lot of seasoning - Egg roll: 3/5 hot and crispy but again no taste, just cabbage inside - Kung Pao Trio: 3.5/5 nice presentation, crispy vegetables. Meat is mushy, but shrimp actually decent. Not really spicy, but a solid salty sauce I suppose. Value: 5/5, impossible to find a $10 lunch option in 2025. Overall: I think I wouldn't take a date here, but for a takeout spot for your lazy weekday lunch, why not. Hits the spot for bad American Chinese food. 3.5 / 5

We ordered the fried tofu (with peppers and onions), orange chicken, fried fish fillet, and veggie delight (mixed veggies). The fried fish fillet was definitely the standout. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a light, tangy layer of sauce that added flavor without making it soggy. Easily my favorite dish of the meal. The fried tofu was also really solid and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The peppers and onions complemented it well without overpowering the tofu itself. The orange chicken was okay. I tend to compare orange chicken to Panda Express (probably unfair, but it's my benchmark), and this one didn't quite hit that same balance of crispiness and sauce. I think if it had a bit more meat within each piece, would be better. The mixed vegetables were decent but not something I'd order again. They felt a bit drenched in sauce and didn't have much depth in flavor. One of the highlights of the visit was meeting an elderly woman who helps out when it gets busy. She mentioned she was the former owner. She was incredibly kind, and we ended up having a really nice conversation in Mandarin. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. Otherwise, really nice venue with lots of space and tables. Waiters always refilled my water, which is a good plus. Also gave me fresh rice when I took the leftovers to go. Overall, a solid meal with a couple standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the fried fish fillet and tofu. Will be back to try their other dishes.
