    Beef Noodle Pork Buns
    Josh M.

This was a pretty cool spot for some fast casual soup dumplings and beef noodles. It was an order at the counter and wait at your seat type of restaurant which I didn't mind. My only problem was the automatic 8 percent fee that I had to ask to get removed for a "service charge" that was not a tip. These charges have unfortunately become more and more common nowadays. The food was still on par with other bao and noodle shops I've been to in Denver with pretty decent prices. They also had a small bar located in a pretty awkward section at the front of the restaurant with no bartender which I found a little odd. Overall, decent experience.

I've come here twice within the last couple of weeks! This is a great fast casual spot if you are wanting takeout or more of a casual dinner vibe. My favorites are the pork pan friend dumplings, the general tsao chicken, and the chicken lo main. The service has always been great and I will be coming back!

I went in for lunch after my daughter's swim lesson last week after noticing their great reviews the restaurants really clean inside and cute and the staff are really really nice. I had the general sales chicken because I had a craving for it. The food came out looking beautiful and it was pretty good. I ate way too much next time. I'm definitely gonna try the soup dumplings and I thought the noodle dishes looked really good.

Beef Noodle soup. So much meat, and the broth was delicious!

It was a treat for us to hold our third annual white elephant gift exchange here at Chopstickers in Lakewood. Since some of us have eaten at one of the three Chopstickers locations before, we know beforehand what we like to eat here. During my conversation with the owner, they recommended three recent added dishes to their menu which we decided to give them a try. They were (1) chicken lo mien, (2) chicken fried rice and (3) Mongolian beef. These dishes were good, but I would say the beef noodle soup and water pan fried potstickers were the star of the show. Group members enjoyed these dishes quite a lot. My husband described his bowl as one of the best dishes he had eaten at Potstickers. As for service, I have to give the cashier, turned waitress, and then back to cashier an A+. There were 23 of us plus other customers who came in to ordered and ate. And so, before the owner came in to give assistance, she did it all. The ambiance was a little bit chaotic. It's only because there was only one person doing everything in the beginning. However, everything went smoothly after we all ate and took over the front portion of the restaurant to play the elephant gift exchange. Overall, I would give Chopstickers in Lakewood a B+.

Chopstickers is new the the neighborhood and is occupying the space where El Torito used to be. They've done a fabulous job with the design and decor. Walking in feels fresh and clean, minimal but also vibrant. You order at the counter and seat yourself. Wait staff was very kind and super attentive, helping to clear dishes throughout our meal. We ordered several dishes and wanted to try them all, knowing we'd take some food home. First up, pork belly noodles, then beef pot stickers, soup dumplings and Mongolian chicken. We also ordered two bottles of saki. These were by far the most expensive, one bottle weighing in at $50. This wasn't my tastiest meal and for me, the flavors needed more oomph, not to get lost in all the noodles and rice. Mayne other dishes would land differently, who knows.

I've been waiting for this location to open so I could give it a try. I was just in the mood for a quick lunch so I only had the potstickers this time, but they were delicious. Perfectly crispy on the bottom, filled to overflowing with flavorful "stuffing, " and all wrapped in delicately thin wrappers. I'm really looking forward to trying one of the noodle dishes next time.

    Chicken Lo Mein
    Amanda M.

Be prepared: Did not expect to walk in and have to order. They were entirely out of soup dumplings and it was barely evening. They forgot our potstickers. The food we did get was delicious, pork belly was perfectly cooked and the chicken lo mein had a subtle smoky flavor that was very different from the typical American sweeter version. Will try a different location next time.

100% recommend. Get the dan dan noodle! Noodles had excellent texture (important). The ground beef was perfectly spiced...hot and savory! The nutty flavor was on point! Everything in this dish was well balanced! I've had it 3 times now and I have had a consistent experience every time! Staff is very friendly. Location is great - lots of parking around the sides and back. Small menu - LOVE IT!

    Pork Belly Rice

Ive been to all 3 locations and I can say so far I like this one the best. My family ordered beef noodle soup, soup dumplings, and the pork belly over rice and all 3 were delicious! The portions are large, hot and the delivery of the dishes is perfect! Service was excellent as well!

Abraham the owner and Myself and Drew!!! Great little inviting bar.

The food could use a lot of work as it was relatively tasteless and bland. The price is too high compared to the quality of the food.

You walk in to pick up your order and they have tables blocking the entry, that's where you pay for your food. The portions are still as giant as ever, and the prices are still affordable. I appreciated this since there was no way anything was going to tip over & spill. Very friendly phone & counter service as well. Note, you get six free Cheese Wontons when your order is more than $40. We ordered three different entrees with three different sides - Steamed White Rice, Fried Rice & Lo Mein Noodles. The sides were good, however the fried rice didn't seem fried, it was white rice with soy sauce. The Sweet & Sour Shrimp Entree was tasty - the shrimp were medium sized, cooked perfectly with a delicious sauce. The Sesame Chicken Entree was even better, the chicken was moist & tender. The beef in the Mongolian Beef Entree was great however there were way too many onions in the dish. Overall, a very satisfying meal.

Searching the area, we found a quiet unassuming, in a quiet neighborhood strip mall, simple place. Read the reviews, Hmmm sounds interesting. The Egg Drop soup was EXCELLENT, The Shrimp, well my Aspen devoured after I had one, it was plump - tender and flavorful. The Veggies, this is MY YUM and PLENTIFUL!! Fried rice - not so fried rather a steamed rice with soy, the egg roll was crisp, smaller than others (seems to be the new fashion these days) filled with wonderful veggies. For most of the time, the main service problem was that the chief waitress was often obnoxious and loud. But we put up with that until they committed an act of rudeness such that I had never experienced before in a restaurant. The events occurred on an evening in which we brought guests with us: two other adults and their two small children. They had a series of take-out orders that evening, which they were prioritizing over in-restaurant customers. For about a half hour the staff simply refused to take our order, telling us to wait and order later. Eventually, they agreed to take our drink requests---which, except for water, never came. Meanwhile, people were coming in and picking up food regularly, while we sat there and they refused to even let us get into the order queue! Finally, after we'd been there at least 45 minutes, the kids were hungry and restless, so we started to leave. The waitress saw us leaving, and came over and disingenuously asked whether we wanted to order now. We said that because of the children we couldn't wait any longer, and we left. This contemptuous treatment of faithful in-restaurant customers was too much for us, and we have never gone back.

The restaurant had plenty of seats so we were able to get a table quickly. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza, so there is plenty of parking options. When we went, you would park on the other side of the restaurant and then walk around to get to the actual entrance facing the street. Ordering is down through a paper menu in which you check off what you would like and then hand to the service worker. Service was fast and attentive, and the restaurant feels like a quick casual dine in type of vibe. We ordered a decent amount of dumplings to try, which I'll review down below: Dumplings ($13 - $14): We got two different types of dumplings, the Yuzu chicken soup dumplings and the pan fried fish and cabbage dumplings. Flavor-wise, they are both pretty pleasant! One critique for the soup dumplings is that they are super fragile, and the dumpling skin rips really easily as they were sticking even when they came out, so you may unfortunately lose a good amount of soup try to enjoy them. As for the fillings, they are pretty uniform in texture and have a pleasant mouth feel to eat. You can definitely taste the yuzu in the yuzu dumplings and the flavor in both dumplings are fragrant. Stewed Pork Belly Noodle ($14): A pretty solid bowl of noodles! There is a generous amount of pork that we were able to split between multiple people. I like that there is a decent amount of bok choy and radish in the dish to contrast with the flavorful and really tender pork belly. I think that if I were to order only this dish, it would fill me up to a comfortable level of fullness. The soup has a subtle porky flavor and the noodles have a decent amount of chewiness. Wood Ear Mushroom Salad ($6.50): I am a fan - we ordered this to help contrast with the dumplings and serve as a palate cleanser in addition to being an appetizer. There is a nice acidity in the dressing and the wood ears are crunchy and aren't too rubbery. It does say spicy on the menu, but it's more of a very mild spice. In the end, I think that Mason's Dumpling Shop is a pretty solid dumpling restaurant in Lakewood, and we spent about $25 per person for every thing here. Which I think is a good price for the variety. I would definitely revisit and try the other options they have here if I'm ever back in Lakewood!

We ordered the fried tofu (with peppers and onions), orange chicken, fried fish fillet, and veggie delight (mixed veggies). The fried fish fillet was definitely the standout. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a light, tangy layer of sauce that added flavor without making it soggy. Easily my favorite dish of the meal. The fried tofu was also really solid and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The peppers and onions complemented it well without overpowering the tofu itself. The orange chicken was okay. I tend to compare orange chicken to Panda Express (probably unfair, but it's my benchmark), and this one didn't quite hit that same balance of crispiness and sauce. I think if it had a bit more meat within each piece, would be better. The mixed vegetables were decent but not something I'd order again. They felt a bit drenched in sauce and didn't have much depth in flavor. One of the highlights of the visit was meeting an elderly woman who helps out when it gets busy. She mentioned she was the former owner. She was incredibly kind, and we ended up having a really nice conversation in Mandarin. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. Otherwise, really nice venue with lots of space and tables. Waiters always refilled my water, which is a good plus. Also gave me fresh rice when I took the leftovers to go. Overall, a solid meal with a couple standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the fried fish fillet and tofu. Will be back to try their other dishes.
