Been coming here for dinner for 20 plus years, New Peking is such a great place for good Chinese food. They have a huge selection of choices to choose from, something for everyone. Clean with nice decor, TV's to watch, nice bathrooms. They do a tremendous amount of carry out's, a local favorite! Employees are always so friendly and polite. We ordered the Steam dumplings with a tangy pepper sauce for an appetizer, they are amazing, big portion! I ordered the Yu Shan garlic combination and hub ordered Mandarin chicken, dishes came in a timely fashion and both were huge portions and delicious, took some home to have for lunch the next day. The Peking Shrimp was 10/10- so light, fluffy, and had incredibly crispy crunch. The sauce was thin (in a good way) with rich flavor that checks every box: salty, sweet, garlicky, chive-y... I almost wanted to drink it. Good shrimp flavor. The Peking chicken was fire too. The Mongolian beef was good. The shrimp curry was meh. It had a lot of curry sauce for sure, but it lacked brightness! I think it needed some acid... something green? Or tomato or something? Not sure. The spring rolls were good, a little oily and needed plum sauce. The crab ragoon were very good- the fried shells themselves were quite tasty, with cheesy creamy crab dip inside. Clearly fried fresh and came out hot. The ambiance is cozy and clean. Lots of dark wood and Chinese decor. The interior is a little dated, but it's nice. The bathrooms were clean. The main reason this spot didn't get 5 stars was because the carts they use to deliver the food are crazy loud!! It's like a train moving past every time they deliver food to a table. Then didn't get the order right and what ended up with was so salty I can not eat it plus they filled my food up with peas and carrots. They sent me what they wanted me to have I'm guessing that's I got chicken fried rice I never seen the chicken cut like that. They send pork egg fu yung but the pork was on the side with a bunch of peas and carrots and the gravy is white and it was salty never never have I had it like that. I ordered wonton soup just horrible noodles way too thick broth too salty I can't eat that! The shrimp egg rolls I never seen anything like the whole inside is gill with something mushy then I see carrots who does that! The plum they watered it down so much it taste like nothing. I complained to Ubereats because I spend a lot to get this food they had me send them pictures they immediately refunded me minus the tip my Ubereats driver was excellent no complaints. I've always seen this place in passing and always wanting to go but was never in the area. So I was finally able to and was not disappointed. Growing up every family has that go to for Chinese food in their local area. For people in my neck of the woods that place was New Peking (although Dynasty was our favorite). But this place has a strong following, especially for their Yen King Chicken. It's so good that my father-in-law always talks about it. His birthday came and went and I decided to pick him up an order. I was a little reluctant because I read some less than stellar reviews lately. But thankfully the items I enjoy most tend to remain consistent. Ive been coming here for years. consistency is the backbone of this restaurant. It's always the same and it's good. They are only doing take out and have a huge barricade inside at the wait station cash register. With plexiglass ect. Call ahead and order. Even the take out is spot on and stayed hot for an hour. I ordered 5 different dishes all were great and huge portions. They also give you plenty of rice and additional sauces. Hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant! I made an account just to review them and sing their praises because I absolutely love this place. I've been coming here for 20 years now since I was a kid, and can confidently say I've dined in here close to 100 times in my life. The food is consistent, the portions are generous, and the flavors are always on point. Standout dishes for me are their Spiced Sour Soup, which is a wonderful blend of peppery and tangy flavors, the Crab Rangoon with plum sauce, Bong Bong Shrimp or Yenking Chicken if you're looking for something fried, Tachien Pork, and Hunan Beef. Their pork and beef dishes have the most tender, melt-in-your-mouth pieces of meat, and their fried chicken dishes have generous chunks of chicken with crispy, but not too much breading. I'm not a huge tofu fan, but I think theirs is homemade and the Hot Bean Curd dish is delicious and will change your mind about tofu. Their service is solid and I am always greeted with a warm welcome. Food tends to come out in a timely manner and they also serve cocktails/beer/sake. The ambiance is nice for a Chinese restaurant and the place is always clean whenever I go. If you haven't been, you definitely need to give this place a try! It's worth the drive! read more

Ok so yes we are a little late to try this Mandarin and schezuapn that's been around. I can always tell when the food is good when we forget to take pics! Look at the absolutely delicious General Tso chicken. It was hot , sweet And flavorful. It was more then enough for two people and the picture seen was after we each loaded our plates. Served with white rice and we ordered two egg rolls that were above Par. They bring out mustard and plum sauce in class silver containers. The tea was late to the table but all was forgiven as they do serve Sake! The menu is several pages long and we are anxious to try it all. Hope I live that long. read more

Surprisingly delicious! We had both pepper steak and General Tso chicken and one of the best Chinese dishes we had in years.

The service was wonderful from the greeting at the door, to the server who took my order & served my meal. I enjoyed the seafood noodle soup (don't remember the menu name but will update later). It was a huge bowl, full of shrimp, scallops, crabmeat surrounding delicious noodles all floating in a spicy hearty broth that included vegetables as well. I loved it! A bottle of Sapporo cooled & refreshed my palate. I ate about 1/4 & brought the rest home; I'll enjoy that for lunch today. I ordered fried dumplings to go & really liked the spicy dipping sauce instead of the sweet most places served. The spicy sauce was better for the rich filling & the fried dumplings. Great authentic Chinese food from here! The quality is amazing, and it holds up to par especially for carry out. It's like you're dining in when you're at home, minus the fancy dishes. We've visited here a couple times to get a variety of dinner options for a family meal. We would get take out each time because we wanted to eat it at my Aunt's house instead that is nearby. Both times, I think we got a handful of egg rolls, egg drop and wonton soup, fried wontons, almond chicken, sweet & sour pork and Mongolian beef. It's the Family for 3 Persons meal on their menu and it's plenty for the five of us after we had been snacking for a few hours prior to ordering. The order has been ready on time both instances when we've ordered and they've tossed in a few extra fortune cookies too! Since this is one of my Aunt's favorite places in her area where she lives, this is some good incentive to come visit.
