This is the "NEW" Philly Diner. Not the Philly Diner that shows up as closed online. They are open and their food and service are great!

You walk in expecting a classic diner experience. You get something close... but not quite there. The staff was great--friendly, attentive, no issues at all. Only odd moment was seeing a waitress outside smoking between table visits. Just felt a little out of place these days. The biggest surprise was the salad bar. Not just salad--soups, wings, even shrimp sitting out. It looked impressive, but also like a bit of a gamble. With a vacation coming up, I passed on anything risky. The place itself could use some attention. Christmas decorations in April and plastic plants everywhere give it a worn, outdated feel. Food was good. Nothing amazing, nothing bad. Just solid. Overall, it's an OK spot. A few nice touches, a few head-scratchers, and a feeling that it could be better with a little cleanup and consistency. read more

Philly Diner has introduced an all you can eat buffet. Our advice is don't waste your time or money. You are handed a plastic fork. We had to ask for a knife and napkins. They have crab legs. My wife asked for butter and was told to use the cocktail sauce. I believe this was the owner. We did get drawn butter, it was cold. The waitress did bring some to us and said she put it in the microwave. They have a salad bar, Mediterranean, Italian, Chinese and seafood. Mostly all the hot food was dried up from sitting out too long. They had chicken Parmesan which was hard and tough to cut. No cheese on it. The only edible items were the crab legs, shrimp, salad and fruit. I will say that the wait staff were very nice. This was a one and done for us. read more

Coming in from a red eye, 8 minutes from the airport we arrived here at 6am starving. It is 24 hrs and quiet with 1 other patron inside. The waitress was quiet and nice and quickly brought us coffee and our orders. Good prices dinner food big portions and Philly cheesesteaks as well. They also have a big dessert area for your sweet tooth: The coffee was a little on the weak side for this caffeine addiction but it helped. We just weren't use to the avocado toast being Guacamole toast with eggs. Prices were reasonable. Great experience and friendly people. read more

So glad this restaurant was next to our hotel. The staff were super friendly. The burger has mushrooms and grilled onions comes with fries and soup. You had three soup to choose from, the vegetable soup was delicious. My husband ordered turkey and stuffing with a side of a baked potato and salad bar. I would highly recommend this place. This is not what your looking for buffet was limited and very bland. They had Lamb chops that were very good. first of all for two people is $80. Why should I pay a 15% gratuity when you didn't do I should be able to give you what I want to give you. this is not where you want to come to bring a big family if you know what I know go to Ichiban. Friendly staff and a clean kitschy vibe gives this convenient airport diner a good start for the weary traveler. I ordered a South of the Border omelette and a cup of coffee. The coffee was promptly served and the omelette prepared to order. No rush here, just take your time and enjoy! read more

The Philly cheesesteak is phenomenal. You have to try it. They have a senior menu, which was nice for my elderly parents who enjoyed a fantastic turkey sandwich. They said it was flavorful moist seasoned really well and it came with the salad bar, which has shrimp and chicken wings with it also so that's a great deal! My husband, who is a very big man also ordered the regular menu turkey sandwich and it was absolutely stuffed with meat. Our waitress was so kind and sweet and friendly, and the staff checked on us frequently. The diner is clean and just like an old-fashioned diner. You will love it. read more

This is a wonderful restaurant. The soup and salad bar is great and they have a senior menu. Reasonable prices and very friendly staff. Plus, there is live music there on the first Saturday of each month. I've eaten there several times and highly recommended it! read more

Great service and good quality food. I was staying at a hotel nearby visiting from out of town and came in for dinner and was really impressed. I had the salmon stuffed with crab and it was delicious with a very large portion. I picked a side of broccoli but it also came with the salad bar and soup. The salad bar had all the toppings for a regular salad plus potato salad, pasta salad, coleslaw and some delicious banana bread. I was lucky I dinned in so I could get the full array they have to offer. I was so full off the salad bar and soup I had plenty of leftover Stuffed Salmon with Crabmeat to take to go.will be back before I go back home. read more

The food was great, staff is very pleasant and attentive. Diner is very clean and tastefully decorated. I like the new addition of a salad bar with soup options. They also have shrimp in the salad bar and rolls. They also have a private room for small parties. Highly recommend the Nutella milkshake. It rocks! The only thing I would ask of the owners is to label each salad dressing in the salad bar. This way you get to see what you're putting on your salad. Looking forward for breakfast next! read more

I stopped at 4 am on 9/6, yet it took almost one hour to receive my meal. Tho Sam (the cook) and Kelly (the SOLE waitress) could not have been nicer or more personable, they were swamped by both walk-in traffic and delivery orders (Door Dash, Uber Eats, etc). Perhaps Management is waiting to see if additional staff is needed at that hour, but I would suggest they do so. Meanwhile, GIANT KUDOS to both Sam and Kelly! read more

This is one place that I would never go again ever. So I ordered eggs with cheese, French fries and pancakes, the eggs had to much cheese on them but I was able to take it off, the pancakes where nasty but I was going to try and deal with it until a fly flew on them. The whole time we were there we had to swat this fly away. So when the waitress bought over the bill I told her what happened and so she said that she would take care of it. So when she came back she had the old bill and the new bill and she had only taken off $2.90, so when went to the front I asked to speak to a manager she said she was the only one there long story short she thought I was going to pay for the fly pancakes well guess what I didn't she's lucky we paid for anything. We're townie and we're looking forward to trying out the newly reopened diner. We ducked under the low hanging sign to go in and we're greeted by the very friendly male host. We sat down in one of the first booths closest to the door. The blonde female waitress saw us and went back to taking care of her table. Then she left. A few minutes later another server came out. Went back in the kitchen. 5 minutes later a different server came out, chatted with his table-also saw us, left again. The other male server came back out-saw us sitting there, and went and fixed a drink. My husband got up to use the restroom. At this point 10/15 minutes had passed and it was clear no one wanted to wait on us. Were great tippers too BTW. Someone I can only assume is the manager is at the front with a server and we get up to leave. My husband says we're gonna go its clear you guys don't want to wait on us. No like please let's make this right. Just "sorry." Just gross behavior. You won't last long in this town if you treat the people who live here like crap. Look what happened to all the other diners. Their food is very good! Soups are amazingly delicious! My husband had the broiled seafood combination and he said the scallops were cooked perfectly!(mind you he is ver particular). We have eaten at fine dining restaurants and corner bars, Philly Diner is very good! read more

This place is really a great addition to the airpoet area. If you are staying overnight for a flight or live or work in the area, this diner is clean, food is good, service is good and everything you can want in a diner. read more
