When at the yard, I told the owner what I was looking for and he drove me to four samples and I loved three of them so it was apparent that he had listened carefully to what I wanted. I also liked picking the edge and corners. (Who knew there were so many choices.) The measurements were taken with a template, not a laser. On the the day of the templates, the crew pointed out a problem which neither the designer nor the construction manager for kitchen renovation had noticed and/or mentioned. We were able to anticipate the solution thanks to Custom Kitchen. And we were sent several pictures that showed how they proposed to lay out the templates on the granite. I suggested that the largest piece be flipped 180 degrees to pick up a "swoop" in the natural flow of the granite. I was sent another set of pictures which matched my very unscientific description, perfectly. The island needed 3 pieces of granite to accommodate the new range. the two pieces on the side are nicely matched and the third piece across the back of the range fits in very well. While the whole of the kitchen renovation turned into an extended nightmare, choosing and installing the granite was easy-peasy.

She prepared me for the process, expected everything in detail, did perform measurements, and communicated with me well on the day of the installation. The guys doing the installation were very nice, expository, and professional as well. They had the granite countertop in the bathroom for the single vanity in less than 1 hour as planned. It looked so great after it was done. They even prepared me for changes that would be necessary when the plumber arrived, which allowed me to communicate any changes and updates with my plumber. They will be my new go-to spot for these types of projects. They have a well-run company. I love how they do business and how easy they make this process for the customer. They are really, really devoted to stellar customer service and are serious about it.

Every…read moreone of them told me I needed to replace the entire downstairs floor because it was an open-concept space in a 3,000 + sq ft home. Joe Iannelli took a completely different--and honest--approach. He resanded and refinished the floors to achieve one uniform color, saving me a significant amount of money compared to installing a new floor. Joe worked entirely on his own, carefully protected everything, and cleaned up thoroughly each day. He has a great personality and strictly specializes in hardwood flooring, which truly shows in the quality of his work. I later referred Joe to a client with a million-dollar home who was told by several companies that she needed all new floors. Joe refinished them instead, saving her a lot of money, and several of her neighbors ended up hiring him as well. Joe also refinished the floors and stairs in my second home. The previous owner had removed the stair runner and painted the sides white. Joe restored the stairs to beautiful natural wood. Everyone comments on the floors and stairs and asks who did them. He stained quite a few sections with different colors so my wife could make a color selection as it would look on the actual floor and not off a color chart. The finished product was great.
