Best massage I've ever had, Kathy was amazing she was able to get all my knots out of my body, I had a specific tight knot on my calf and she rolled it out, she did a great job massaging my face, neck, back, arms and leg. The place was clean and huge. Don't listen to the negative reviews. This place did 10/10, in coming back here because of Kathy but rest assured my gf said she had a great massage as well and her name was the sunny and she did a good job with her body massage especially her neck! Don't come in expecting a traditional Korean spa experience -- this is nowhere close to what you'd find in Koreatown. The men's changing area is just a common space hidden behind a curtain, and the spa itself is cramped and underwhelming: a steam room, sauna, a suspiciously grimy Jacuzzi, and showers crammed into a tiny footprint. The only thing saving it is the convenience of not having to drive into town and a price point that's hard to argue with. Hours of operation are convenient: 6am to Midnight for full spa, massage and body scrub are available 24 hours. Massages are good with tension release. I arrived at this establishment, and ahead of me was a person asking if they could pay in cash. They were told yes, but when the customer asked for a receipt, they were informed that receipts are not issued when a customer pays with cash. They *only* provide a receipt when payment is made by card! This is definitely illegal; I hope that person leaves a review. I requested an extra towel and was given one; however, when I went to use it, the towel was torn and frayed. Inside the steam sauna, there were empty plastic bottles and dirty towels. Unfortunately, it didn't end there. I went to the dry sauna, and it was cold. That was when I decided to complain. The employee who assisted me responded very rudely, claiming she had just been in there herself, that everything was clean, and that she had only just turned on the heater, so I would simply have to wait for it to warm up. Regarding the towel, she told me that was the customers' fault for leaving towels lying around. Naturally, I asked for my money back so I could leave and never return, but the employee refused to issue a refund because I had already been there for over an hour. A TOTAL SCAM. read more

Please save your time and money. I don't even know where to start. I have nothing against the women doing the massages--they were polite--but the place itself is completely unprofessional and dirty. The facility is not clean. I didn't get into the jacuzzi because it looked unsanitary. The steam room had a strong moldy smell. During my massage, the woman's nails kept digging into my skin--this happened 4 times and it hurt a lot. I also told her I had a bruise on my leg and it hurt, but she still massaged that area with a lot of force. The oils and milk they used came in unmarked plastic water bottles no labels, no branding. You have no idea what they're putting on your skin. Completely unprofessional and honestly concerning. At the end, we gave a $5 tip (we weren't planning to leave one at all but felt bad). Then one of the women laughed and said most people tip over $20, and they brought it up again as we were walking out, pushing us to tip more. All while smiling and acting friendly which felt manipulative. This place is the opposite of relaxing. I won't be back, and I don't recommend it to anyone. I had a gift card from here and that was the only reason I decided to go. knowing about the bad reviews didn't have much expectations.. but it was much worse. first of all the attitude when I presented the gift card was unbelievable. Bad costumer service and bad business when I was told "gift card expires after one year" lol No it doesn't. there is no indication of that on the card. And even if it was going to "expire" means the value will be equivalent to what it was paid and May be additional fee for raised prices. That's only valid if printed on the gift card. -location has ton of parking in not so great neighborhood next to laundromat. -woman and men separate spa -cleanliness was definitely not a priority. Noticeable dirt, dust, and MOLD -towels were old and rough -lockers used 4 digits codes. -showers had old plastic shower curtains -hot tub was not HOT -dry spa was not working -steam room smelled funky (moldy) and visible mold by door area -shower water didn't get hot. (room temperature) -massage done by Tina was mehhh. However the scrub was excellent. she definitely did a great job and that deserved a star. -prices are on the lower side but still feels too much for this place. Listen to your instincts and DO NOT come here. I found out about this hellhole because the nearby Korean spa I usually go to was closed, but this is not a Korean spa at all. This is a dingy strip mall joint with women masseuses in areas where they shouldn't be. I won't make too many assumptions, but I've never felt more sure in my life I was seated amongst predators. Creeps, all of them. I was looking forward to using the sauna and jacuzzi facilities, but they were gross. Dirty. Straight-up looked like rot was forming on the wall. I could not wait to get out. I wish I took the hint when I walked in and no one was there to help me for 4 minutes. When the worker finally checked me in, I asked for an extra towel and she showed me that she does not believe in customer service. She rudely refused and made me feel ridiculous for even asking. Read the reviews! This place is so illegal and genuinely terrifying. My boyfriend was offered a happy ending. Look at their website it's literally the definition of a place that gives happy endings. They don't even list services or prices they just have a bunch of pictures of asian women POSING SEDUCTIVELY with tight/minimal clothing on. It was absolutely awful. The staff was honestly more than rude they were hostile. I paid for a 1 hour massage and got about 30 minutes. When I told the front desk she just said to go back up and honestly I did not want to because my masseuse was on her phone the whole time and just kind of throwing me around and really rude. I said I did not want to and I just want to leave. I came back to leave a tip because I didn't want to be rude and when I walked back in to the from counter my masseuse and the owner were screaming at each other in the room next to the main office. When they came back the masseuse started to yell at me saying I was lying and that I was crazy. It was absolutely chaos, I have never been treated like this or yelled at like this ever. All for saying I was uncomfortable for going back up. I then asked for my money back because who would want to give them anything after that and then I was told they could take $10 off. Wow, thanks. I went in midweek shortly after 06:00AM. The almost 2 hours I was there, I was the only one which was nice. Both the sauna and steam room were at a hot temperature, they way I like it. The hot tub was slightly warm which I imagine with being there so early it just hadn't had enough time to get up to speed. Could the facility use updating, yes, but from my experience it does the job at the price point you pay. I look forward to returning for body scrubs, massages, the whole spa experience. read more

Came for the first time yesterday based off a great recommendation from a friend. I had a terrible experience. I told the masseuse I wanted full body very firm , she walked on my back and legs (mostly legs) for over half the time. I was then doused with oil and very softly rubbed for 15 minutes (very awkward and uncomfortable). My arms , shoulders , neck ,scapula , chest were completely neglected and not massaged with hands elbows or anything. I again asked for harder and she wiped one leg dry did a couple minutes and said "yes with oil we can't do hard" (i never asked for oil , even preferred not to. She then left the room for a decent chunk of time and came back wiped me off and that was it. I was so disappointed and dissatisfied that I offered to pay for more time to target my upper body that hadn't been touched other than walked on. I was hassled to the point of saying I guess next time. I said thank you and attempted to walk out of the room to get my wallet from my friend and was barked at "hey , no you just tip , tip now tip now !" i hadn't even left the massage room. I offered $20 (about 30%) even though I was completely dissatisfied she said it wasn't enough and started to complain to her co-worker. In summation it was the worst experience I've had in 20+ years of massages. I spent $100 and feel like I didn't even get a massage. Very disappointed after being excited to try a new place. My girlfriend and I came for a body scrub and massage. It was very nice. They had lockers, a robe & towel for us. The place is old and could use some TLC...but I looked past that. We were asked to shower, then use the steam room and/or jacuzzi. We choose the steam room. It was wonderful...nice and HOT & steamy. We then quickly showered again and went into a room with 2 tables. My girlfriend and I both had the best body scrubs!! It was GREAT! My skin was left so SOFT & CLEAN. Then we had massages, which were wonderful also. The ladies were nice and did a great job. Best scrub i've got from Cindy, she put so much energy and effort for whole whole hour. How can you not pay someone tip when they have to use so much energy to do their job. One of my first massage spas, decided to after donating at nearby plasma center. Free and plenty of parking beside laundry mat. Was left feeling comfortable and secure. Quiet ambiance unlike other places which are noisy. They provide lockers and shampoo to shower with and a jacuzzi if you wish. These workers deserve tips. I initially went there because my back has locked up on me from standing a lot and my sister recommended it. Reading the descriptions of the different types of service made me very excited to get my service that I was actually bragging about comin at work. Upon arrival the place looks nothing like the pictures on the website. I had called an asked for an 8:30 appointment but was told 8:00 was available. I arrived at 7:45. I'm use to paying after my service but to pay up front was no biggie for me. I purposely left the tip blank to fill in afterwards. If u feel dirty this is definitely the place to come because the scrub leaves u feeling like u lost some layers of skin, but getting no direction from the staff, my appointment not starting til 830 anyway, my massage was like 2 secs long and being stared down to give a tip is not ok with me. Then my service was over at closing time (10) yet by that time they had at least 3 men walk in for 1 hour massages... seems strange to me but ok, I'm not judging. The New Valley Day Spa is a wonderful getaway in a very unexpected location -- right near Tampa and Vanowen in Reseda. I went on a Tuesday morning at 11:00 and the place was quiet, sparkling clean and very relaxing. As for the Classic Combo -- it was one of the best spa experiences of my lifetime! The treatment began with a relaxing body scrub followed by a delightful oil message. The one hour massage and collagen mask was superb and relaxing. The masseuse was superb and I felt very lucky to have access to the hot tub, sauna to relax and unwind. I don't think there's a better deal in Los Angeles. Quiet, clean, excellent. This place is run down, unclean. I made an appointment, arrived 15 minutes early. They require you pay before service. I was seated in the waiting area, wasnt offered anything to drink...that's ok. Then I was ushered upstairs to this room, nothing therapeutic about it, could almost pass for someone's bedroom, cold. I was rushed to undress. The massage was done mostly by foot, my 1st time. In all was ok, I'd rather have hands used. Then I was rushed out of the room. After the massage the masseuse demanded that I tip her. I told her I've paid already, she then suggests I add one. She follows me downstairs saying "tip me, tip me"...WEIRD. we make it downstairs and the clerk ask if I liked it, I said it was ok and tips are not required, hinting at brochure. Messuse still demanding a tip. I told her no I'm not leaving a tip I've paid for the service and you dont ask for tips, they are given. Their women locker room is right by the entrance door With a sheer curtains and cold...they do not provide spa slippers...the therapist came with no greeting manners and she didn't even introduced herself. Crazy antics at this place. I used to visit this spa on a regular for body scrubs. It started going downhill pre-Covid. The facilities wouldn't be working or under construction and would always neglect to mention this when calling for an appointment. I have shown up multiple times when the jacuzzi and/or steam room or sauna (or even the showers) were not working. I quit going for a couple years and recently tried it again. While in the jacuzzi (naked) a man with a robe strolled in. I screamed out of shock and when the manager came to run him out, she walked back through to quickly apologize. I stayed for my treatment and and gave my therapist $13 on a $60 treatment and requested 2 bottles of water. When she came back she advised me one bottle was free but I had to pay for the second bottle, which was $1. I told her that her tip was $12 (20%) and the other dollar was to pay for the water. I couldn't believe they balked about a one dollar bottle of water when my privacy and peace of mind had totally been invaded and compromised. Good riddance! read more
