**This is an update from previous review left 2 years ago** This is my first time back to this establishment since I wrote a 1-star review nearly 2.5 years ago. I have to say that their food quality and quantity have gotten MUCH better. It's still americanized Chinese food so to expect 5-star dining is an unrealistic expectation. The staff is friendlier and understanding of food allergies. The to-go dishes are taller allowing for more food to be stored. My family and I ordered the General Tso combination plate, the steak low mein combo and the Szechuan chicken combo. Additionally we ordered crab Rangoons and egg rolls. The rice was cooked well, my wife thought it was a bit crunchy for her, the general tso chicken was cooked well and the flavor was good. My son did not complain about his Szechuan chicken, oh and my daughter had the sweet and sour chicken. My wife said the crab Rangoons were a bit on the sweeter side, but they satisfy the craving for them. My daughter loved the egg roll and she typically does not like egg rolls. Overall, I am impressed with the improvement in quality, appearance and quantity. They are still not my local go-to, but if we are looking for something quick and don't want to travel 35 minutes to our favorite Chinese restaurant, they have earned my business back after losing it 2.5 years ago. read more

Well, it's not much to look at but sometimes it's the "hole in the wall" places that are delicious. The crab Rangoons were large and delicious. We tried the sweet and sour pork and sesame chicken from the lunch menu. Both were very good and there was plenty of food. The roast pork fried rice had plenty of carrots, peas, onion, scrambled eggs, and bean sprouts. We are from out of town and were surprised to find a place where the food out does where we come from. This will become one of our regular spots when we move out here. Sorry we already started eating before we took the photos. The food was way below par.. burned chicken wings, Rangoons were greasy & had a weird taste & the lo mein was tasteless .. and instead of duck sauce I was given sweet sauce! ! Too bad, but it was a trash dinner... $ 28 wasted! It's too bad, but why have a restaurant if you can't cook? read more

For the area, they have improved over the years and are pretty good. I do not order the pork fried rice and always substitute it for the white rice. I would say that ordering is better than later in my experience, as far as freshness goes. Typical 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the day as far as pick up time and located in the Hannaford Plaza. Local family run business. Not too social but kind enough and usually everything is correct and is always piping hot! I'm used to Chinese food in the city and different standards, but I do go here when I want to fulfill my craving! read more

So One star for the restaurant is a bit too harsh... this chinese restaurant is just average to below average on most of their food. The reason it's 2 stars is that it's not really a restaurant... this place is 100% made for take out... its just too small. It used to be a Pizza place so it's too small to be well ventilated from the smells of the kitchen, which with a lot of fried foods can be a bit greasy smelling but this is normal for that kind of fair being cooked in such a small place. They have decent general Tao's chicken/sesame chicken, crab rangoons, chicken wings etc. But their beef teriyaki and several other items on their menu could use some improvement. This place is basically for that quick fix for take out chinese food you're looking for if you don't want to travel. Fast food style. So the owner is very adamant that I don't share my story. But I'm here to tell everybody do not order from here they steal money from your debit card after you leave. I have proof of that I also have called the Better Business Bureau and the Jay Police Department. So this is what happened January 8th 2021 I ordered $33 worth of Chinese food they charged my debit card $40.69. When I called to confront them and asked what was going on I got yelled at and then was told that I was harassing them by asking them for my money back. I have contacted my bank and I have my receipt now the owner for the Chinese restaurant tells me that the receipt is lying and that the bank is trying to defraud me. I laughed I told her that she's trying to defraud me and if she thinks I'm letting this go she's seriously mistaken. I am taking these guys to court I. Great veggie lo mein! I've been here a bunch of times and am always happy with the service and the food.

Amazing buffet at a wonderful price, you want fresh food they'll make it for you. Very polte, very deliscious, and my new favorite place to eat. If you going to spend 7 bucks at mcdonalds your better off spending that money here. My only complaint is the buffets only open from 11-3. But I'll happily find to the time to come here to eat. Also they have chicken finger on the buffet every day. read more

There is no heat inside this restaurant so eating in is not an option. I ordered a once to have dinner at my house to find the ribs were more fat than meat. I ordered again from them for a quick lunch meal at my near distanced job, and found myself with a to-go box full of burnt rice and uncooked chicken. After calling to share with them what had happened, the woman told me to bring it back in. I did so after work, and she offered me crab rangoons, which was not what I had ordered to begin with, and when I denied, she complained and did not want to give me my money back. After arguing for several minutes she finally gave me my $10 back and I walked out and will not be returning. read more

If you have read any other reviews then you know what's up. I was so excited to go and get some sweet savory Chinese food and when I got home and as soon as the first bite hit my precious tongue it was a no from me. Everything tasted a little off and I could not finish it. If you want to waste your money on some food that might give you food poisoning then this is most deforest the place for you.
