It makes it SO much easier leaving her with Ms. Martha and Ms. Vicki knowing they love her like their own! She is "their baby girl"! We live in Anna, TX, work in McKinney and drive to Allen just so our daughter can attend here! THAT IS HOW MUCH WE LOOOOVE THIS LOCATION!!! Even when COVID hit, Shannan, Andrew and their staff have done an amazing job at keeping things as normal as possible all while implementing guidelines and policies that have truly made us feel so safe when entering the building, and leaving our daughter in their care. As new parents, we were terrified of what the overall outcome would be with COVID, but we are so impressed with their approach in it all!!! The school and the staff have been playing a significant role in the development and growth of our daughter. Over time since she joined, Isha loved going to school. Apart from the outstanding curriculum, numerous other activities like Christmas celebrations, Easter Egg Hunt, the annual graduation ceremony, etc., have piqued Isha's interest and made her appreciate the time she is spending in school. It is to be noted that the staff put in a lot of time, effort and energy into the execution of the aforementioned events that they end up being really grand, rich and thoroughly memorable experiences for students and parents alike. The school has also ensured that they strictly meet the dietary requirements of each child. The staff also do a commendable job in communicating with us about the child's daily activities, upcoming events, payment reminders and accommodating many other requests we've made. It has been a breeze communicating with Ms. Corrine, especially, and she has always been prompt, quick and always helpful in her response. Our special mention goes to Ms. Alissa. Ever since Ms. Alissa became the class teacher for Pre-K-2, Isha wasn't just happy but was excited to go to school. The very manner she greets the kids in the morning not only brightens their days but ours as well. When I asked them for a recommendation they suggested Playday. So it went on the list of places to go visit. I of course started my search at the closest one to my house but when I went to visit Playday I just got this great feeling. I sat and did all of my normal pros and cons list and I on every line I ended up choosing Playday. Here is what originally drove me there: how sweet the staff was on my tour, the price is less than the surrounding similar schools, the car pool lane pick up (I had a new born I didn't want to be bringing in when it was raining or if he was napping) and then best part? They are the ONLY preschool in the area that I've found that makes up a missed Monday holiday on that Friday. So if your kids miss for Presidents day they go to school on Friday that week. This is so awesome because every other school just charges you the same amount of money and gives you less days. Since we've been there I've fell even more in love with it. The staff really cares and my kids and I have both made a ton of friends. I'm shocked at the number of families there from the catholic church and that we have friends in our class that will go to Kerr with us for kindergarten. It really has been the absolute best choice we've made for our family!

It amazes me how all of the teachers know almost all of the kids' names even if they aren't near their classroom. The director truly cares about each child, parent and family. We have always been treated as if we were the most important family in the world when we speak with the director. It was time to get a library card that was mine! Was time to stop borrowing friend's cards. Why pay for books or buy books when your taxes, as a homeowner, offer you free book rentals! AMAZING!! I love to be read too and you can read a variety of books for free! The best bang for your buck! Really happy I discovered reading books again. Not sure why I ever slowed down. Collin County College is awesome! Simply need to go in person to apply for the card. It's so simple! It gives you access to ALL libraries in Collin county and the State of Texas. Everyone should have a library card! I wish more people would be interested in being part of a library. It's so cool to have access to knowledge. Be extraordinary and join any library across the country! The only draw back is they don't have audiobooks. Suppose students don't have time to read anything but text books! If you return the book late you will be charged late fees. Only fair. There are rules you have to follow. Others are waiting for that book: Be kind and return on time. July 2024
