I typically order from here and have come to expect average pizza, a trade-off for the convenience of delivery. Not many options in Montgomery, and so I placed an order for a Super Bowl party I was hosting, 10 pies. The two stars are solely for their ability to simply execute the transaction, I ordered 10 pies, 10 pies were delivered at the time scheduled. Thank you for that. I am also factoring in the volumes on Super Bowl Sunday would impact quality, but the product delivered was not pizza. Soggy, mostly red because the cheese was so thinly dispersed you have to wonder if they were trying to conserve fleeting supplies? You can't sell this to someone, especially to your detriment as there are obviously a # of folks consuming 10 pies all that were all extremely disappointed in your soggy cheeseless mess. Will I order from here again, most likely due to the fact I am a captive audience and there is no other game in town. New World, you can do better, its Pizza, not asking for gourmet here, just at least keep up the average pizza and do not let your customers down.. read more

I ordered delivery from them, and I should note I am only about a 3 minute drive away. I got few hot subs that were huge, but the taste was just ok. I also ordered a panini which was horrible. The chicken was microwaved because it was so hot it couldn't be eaten, while the roasted peppers and spinach on it were ice cold. The bread was some kind of white rye style that was so soggy it had disintegrated into the styrofoam on the bottom (maybe the intense heat of the microwaved chicken was responsible). Might I suggest using a harder crust bread for a panini. The calamari was ok, but for $9.00, I expected more than 14 rings. This is the second time I've tried them and I don't think there will be a 3rd time after today! It's really too bad as there aren't many places that deliver around here. We get Pizza from these guys all the time. It's usually very nice as are the wings. They are super quick to deliver as well.

They're one of the few places in my area that delivers, so they get an extra star for that. If I order from here, I stick to their gourmet pizzas like the Garden or the Mexican. I've received some pies from here that were overcooked and burnt on the bottom. Their subs are also "sub-par" and they're really stingy with the meat on their hot subs and cheese steaks. Their appetizers are acceptable, but nothing great. On a good day, this place could be great but they're just too inconsistent; however, I find myself ordering from them whenever I'm feeling too lazy and the weather is bad. read more

Decent enough place. I'm actually really surprised by some of the very low reviews for New World. In this part of the state, there isn't much to choose from. My wife, daughter and I were traveling to Princeton and wanted to stop in somewhere for lunch. Again, your choices are very limited. We came in just after lunch on a Saturday and there were a few people inside. They had a pretty good slice pie selection and definitely some interesting choices. I like pizza places that have the "funky" slices to choose from. My wife went with a pepperoni slice and I had an eggplant slice. Eggplant is not something I typically order but I wanted to switch it up. I enjoyed my slice and actually thought the red sauce was very good. 2 slices and a bottle of soda came to $7 and some change which is awesome. Pizza in this place is soggy and average. My latest experience was horrible. Got a pizza pie and a tiramisu and a chocolate mousse to go. When I looked at the desserts at home they had several spots of whitish green mold. I refused to eat at this place again. I do not trust any of their food after this experience. I went back to ask for my money back and they said there was no manager in the premises. That's unacceptable. I work in Skillman and they are a local restaurant that I was told to try. Worst mistake ever! A friend and myself ordered chicken fingers and french fries and asked to have them delivered. Well, when I called, the guy who answered the phone was very rude and he sounded annoyed that he was being bothered to take my order. Well I ordered my food and he told me 45 minutes for a 2 mile delivery! I thought it was ridiculous but OK maybe they were busy seeing as it was lunch time so fine. Well when my food arrived it was cold. Again, I am less than 2 miles away, but fine not a big deal. What the real kicker was, was the fact that they charged $20 bucks and all we get were 3 chicken fingers a piece and it looked like a handful of fries. It was the worst take out experience I have ever had and I will not be ordering from them again. I'll take the drive to Hopewell to go to Franco's Pizza and get good food and good service. tl;dr save yourself the trouble and never order from here. Crappy food that is way overpriced. I have been eating pizza here for years since it opened. They always have a good variety on hand for a quick slice and many options for gourmet and combination pizzas. I thought everyone was friendly and accommodating. Delivery is pretty quick but pie may need a warm up in oven to get the crispy crust back Haven't had their deserts but I think the other reviewer was unfair to give it one star especially after they gave her the money back she asked for. Disgusting. Filthy place, workers handling food with bare hands after touching their faces. Food tastes like crap, is often under-cooked. They deliver, but I swear, I had a delivery driver curse at me for tipping him ($4) in quarters. A minor miscalculation on my part, so my plain pie took all my actual cash. New World Pizza offers above average pizza as well as pasta and deli options. New World is Montgomery's most popular pizza option because it is so reliable. Any option you get, you know it is going to be a decent option. Personally I think the crust of their pizzas is fantastic but the flavor of the sauce and cheese is sometimes lacking. However, I really enjoy their buffalo chicken slice as well as some of the specialty options they have from time to time such as the chicken bacon ranch slice. Overall, you can expect a solid but not exceptional pizza along with quick delivery and friendly service. read more

I have been eating here since 2011 and I can honestly say this is one of best and most friendliest pizzeria's I have ever ate at. Customer service is excellent and I have tried almost everything on menu I think the pepperoni roll,the wings and the desserts are my favorites. I heard they just introduced TURKEY BURGERS, cannot wait to go in and try them. They are family owned business, so you get a family atmosphere when you walk in. If everyone who has tried New World food and wrote a review there will be overwhelming number of positive reviews on here, I guarantee that. There are a few pizzerias that I like in my area, each for different things. Hands down Conte's has the yummiest traditional American pizza, but New World is a close second. New World's eggplant parm is very delicious and my husband loves their strombolis the best of any place around. We often order the Caprese salad. It's simple, but with high quality ingredients. Sometimes, depending on who makes it, it is bigger than other times. When it is small, it's too small. My absolute favorite thing to order from New World is their Mozzarella and Tomato focaccia. OMG! It is so delicious. It is more delicious than the other focaccias and is made on the same out of this world focaccia roll. Since for a long time New World was the only quality pizzeria that had delivery (I know that Vera's now does, but they are yet to win me over) we mostly ate New World's food. It's strange that others have complained about the delivery time. We live kind of far from New World and it seems speedy enough to me (30-45 mins). The food is always hot when it arrives. Alfonso's pizza is not as good as New World's, in my opinion, but Alfonso's does make excellent daily specials. They make a little bit fancier dishes in their specials than any other pizza restaurant in the area outside of a more pricey Italian restaurant. Perhaps they can do so since they probably get more business than New World's, but it might be nice if New World would get a little creative from time to time and have a chef's special. Although I have only ever "eaten in" at New World's once, I have ordered delivery countless times. I would likely ask about "specials" if they'd start to offer them or mention them when you call. I recently started ordering from New World and their food is amazing! I love their gourmet pizza - primavera, bruschetta, eggplant parm, buffalo chicken are all delicious. I also love, love their white pizza. Pasta is delicious also. I have had their chicken parm, eggplant parm (my fave), vodka sauce, shrimp scampi. The worst customer service!! I just left there-a short time ago, having stopped in for a slice and drink to go. 5 people were behind the counter. 2 were trying to do math, 1 was watching the other 2 and 2 more workers were by the ovens. A man came in when I did and is known to them either as owner or customer and he sort of yelled out his order as he passed by the counter on his way to a table. New World pizza is the closest place to us and thus we find ourselves getting pizza here when we are in a pinch. Unfortunately it is mediocre at best. Their Buffalo pizza is a deep dish that is more onion and celery than chicken with a greasy crust that reminds me of Pizza Hut. New world has the worst pizza in the area. I eat pizza about three times a week and avoid New World at all costs. It's so soggy, their crust falls apart when you pick up the slice, and it's not sanitary...I got sick from their meat in the past, and the place is really dirty. Their service is also terrible. The guys behind the counter are very unwelcoming and have been nothing but rude to me. I drive an extra 5-10 minutes to get pizza that actually tastes good and to be served by nice people, it's definitely worth it. Best pizza in NJ! I have become a regular at New World Pizza and it is one of my favorite places for a quick bite or even a full dinner. The workers there are so polite and friendly. My grandfather and I went there every Monday for an entire year and he soon fell in love with just place just as much as I did. My grandfather is 83 years old so he is a bit slow to order what he wants. But the men who worked there were always so patient and accommodating to him. Soon enough they even started to remember his order, which meant a lot to him. I always go to new world after school whenever I'm craving a bite to eat. Their white pizza with broccoli on it is amazing! Their penne vodka is delicious, the perfect amount of creamy and flavor. My friends rave about their subs and salads. So really, anything you get at New World will be delicious. The delivery guys are all very nice and normal and definitely deserve good tips. Even the men who work in the kitchen are very kind, always making an effort to say hello whenever I stop by. They even cater now, so next time I host an event, there will definitely be food from New World there! read more

Buffalo and BBQ wings, stuffed pizza (meat lovers), and the grilled cesar salad chicken wrap are each really tasty. We've now ordered the pizza and wrap twice and really like them both times. The stuffed pizza is extremely heavy but full of flavor. The second time we included a side of marinara sauce which took it to the next level. The wrap tasted fresh, had a generous amount of dressing, and pretty moist chicken. The wings were a nice surprise. I really expected mediocre and was happy to find that they were really good! The wings are a good size and both the buffalo and bbq were really tasty. I'm surprised by the negative reviews because my delivery service experiences have been fine and the food is very good. The only item we've tried so far that we weren't impressed with was the cheese pizza. I realize that is the starting point for many but hopefully these comments will inspire a new customer to try something a bit different. We recently had a fundraiser for my son's baseball team .The food from NEW WORLD was fantastic! Everyone was saying it was the best penne vodka they ever had while they fought over garlic knots and pepperroni rols... Hi. So I would NEVER do this because I work in the food industry and I think yelp was just invented cause people just love snitching so much. Anyway, to the point. I live in east amwell(a part of hopewell). New world has delivered to me 6 or 7 times and yesterday after placing my order I called back to help the driver out and told them id put the flag up on my mailbox because its hard to see. This was after I had placed my order and the very nice kid on the phone said they don't deliver to me or my area "anymore". Another reason I am writing this is because in college and high school I delivered for 5 different places and never once did we deliver to a customer multiple times and then tell them its too far. If you gps the route to my house from new world location its 2 roads and a 13 min drive! I didn't even ask to, the kid on the phone offered for me to talk to the manager and the manager was so unprofessional he wouldn't even talk to me on the phone. The kid on the phone just kept repeating they won't so I politely just told him how unprofessional that is and told them they lost my business and hung up.
