Side that came with the gyro. Tasty.

Always get the lamb and chicken combo it's so good. Also got the lamb gyro this time. I think it came with a side of rice chicken and fries. Didn't expect that but it was good. I love the samosas as well. The veggies are my fav. This spot is better than the campus location in my opinion. There's a nice dining area and the staff is friendly. If you get the samosas make sure to get the green chutney to go with it. It's delicious. I can't say enough good things about NY GYRO it's definitely worth a stop and then some. You also get your choice of toppings for your meals which is nice. The lettuce is always crisp and fresh which is nice and the ingredients look fresh and well stocked each time.

Awesome Gyro and Kafta Combo...the Gyro was very tasty, ya load it with what you want so I skipped the green leafy stuff. And the Kafta Combo was very spicy...a ton of food for the money and service was very quick!

This joint is awesome if you are craving delicious flavorful middle eastern food! It's my favorite lunch place that is always fast and easy. I always have a hard time trying to order something new but so far the selections have been awesome! Usually ordered their mixed rice platter (delicious saffron basmati rice with chicken and lamb meat) but this time decided to go with the gyro (delicious spiced lamb slices...great selection of veggie toppings and 3 different sauces to choose: tzatziki, green mint sauce or hot sauce), seekh kebab ( juicy skewered minced spiced chicken) and can't resist to order a side of 4 pieces of falafel (deep fried ground chickpeas mixed with herbs and parsley) and of course get a side of the tzatziki sauce with that! Everything comes out quick, pay at the counter and head to a booth to sit down. Don't be expecting some fancy or super clean sit down joint, the location is a little sketchy but the guys that worked there are always friendly. Plus they open late if you have some cravings at night!

Please don't call this place Greek. It's Pakistani/Indian. And it's street food. And it's got flavor and it's good. They're open late. They are quick. I'm all about coming here for a late night meal. But you'll need a bottle of mylanta to go with it! Don't worry. The food is good. You won't care

I have never tried New York Gyro before, but was told that it's a place I must try! I love Greek food, so I was excited to order ahead. On Mondays-Fridays from 11:00am-4:00pm they have a lunch special that you can purchase. Gyro Combos (with fries and a drink) are $5.99 during this time, and I decided to take advantage of that deal today. I showed up about 5 minutes before my estimated pick-up time and they had everything ready but the gyro. The worker was very apologetic, and told me he didn't know what veggies I wanted on my gyro, so he wanted to wait until I arrived. I got the lamb gyro with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and lettuce. The gyro was decent. I'm a fan of the sliced gyro meat, and NY Gyro doesn't make their meat that way. They give plenty of veggies and meat, but I was not overjoyed with my gyro. The fries could've used a bit more salt, but I thought they were the best part of the meal. Ordering online was a quick and easy process, but I don't know that I would come to NY Gyro again.

If you're looking for New York-style halal food such as gyros, shawarmas, falafels, or kabobs, this is NY Gyro's second location. Their first is over near St. Cloud State University. They have the same menu. You'll find the gyro's overstuffed with ingredients that you can choose from, including cubed lamb meat, tomatoes, lettuce, and more. Personally, I prefer sliced meat as it has less of a tendency to fall out of the pita, but it still tastes good. I've also had their samosa, which was tasty. You can also find hamburgers here. Most of their entrees are served with fries. Strange but true. This location is a bit larger, with room for more seating, as well as a patio where you can eat outside.

Great customer service. The cost of the food has, unfortunately, tripled over the last 2 years. Food is halal alhamdulillah.

Slow service, food was nothing special but nothing bad. The portions are huge! One order can easily feed three grown people!

The food wasn't as appetizing as it looked. The customer service experience was by far the worst I've seen in a while.

I go there for the delicious Middle Eastern food, which, for a buffet, is amazingly fresh and tasty. It helps, of course, that the buffet is replenished frequently. It includes a wide variety of salads, hummus, pita, soup, protein, and desserts--and it's all delicious! If you have not been to the family-owned Mediterranean Cruise, the building itself is surprisingly large and impressive. It features a 25-foot or higher ceiling, a private dining area, and even space for belly dancing presentations. While Mediterranean Cruise offers Mezas, soups, salads, rice and hummus bowls, sandwiches, and more off the menu, you must try the buffet to truly appreciate the breadth of their offerings. Highly recommended.

I've been coming here for years, but lately it just hasn't the same…read more The food is still good, but not at the level it used to be. I have pretty high standards for Greek/Mediterranean food, and it just doesn't stand out anymore. The pita has been dry, although the hummus is still solid. The platters are fine overall, but nothing particularly memorable. Service has also been a bit underwhelming recently compared to past visits. That said, the atmosphere is still a highlight. The space feels very authentic with all the decor, and the belly dancers are always a fun touch. The patio is also nice if you're able to sit outside. Parking can be a little tight in their lot, but there's a ramp nearby which makes it easier.
