It has the biggest pizza slice I've ever had and the cheese on the pizza is the best pepperoni.

The menu looks pretty good, but the food is not up to standards. (We didn't get pizza; they may make excellent pizza.) We both got a chicken dish; I got the marsala, and my wife had the "Chicken Cremora Mushrooms." My chicken was OK, but the Marsala sauce was way too salty. My wife said her chicken seemed like a frozen breast that they grilled, but the sauce was OK. Also, my wife ordered a glass of the house chardonnay, and it came at room temperature. When she said something, the waitress took it back and brought another glass that was chilled. The wine was actually good, other than that false start. My score is actually a 2.8 out of 5. The waitress was very nice and helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed. Now we will start from when we walked in. The restaurant is dark and needs some brightening up. The furniture is dated and needs to be replaced. The floor was stained and needs to be replaced. On Google they had a high rating so I am just being honest. The Google rating is why we tried them. The bread and oil dipping sauce was good. And a great starter to the meal. The mozzarella sticks we just mozzarella sticks nothing special. Now the pizza we ordered had mushrooms, banana peppers, sun dried tomatoes, and artichokes on it. The dough was bland with no flavor kinda of like animal crackers. The sauce was also bland. Almost like there was no spices in it. From a can. No sure about the toppings because I didn't go in the kitchen but they tasted like they came from a jar or can. Now I am not putting this restaurant down because they have a lot of potential. Went on a rainy summer evening. Staff was nice and friendly! We really liked our waitress and left a good tip! Random singer was really feeling himself and was rather amusing. Had a good voice but all of his songs sounded pretty much the same from Snoop dogg's gin and juice to prince's purple rain to Darius Rucker's wagon wheel. Salad dressing is our FAVE! Love the house! Pizza was bland and less than expected. I don't know if they changed the crust and/or sauce but it was just ok. Great find in downtown Beaumont on a Saturday afternoon when good eats are scarce (lots of places closed on Saturday). The space is pleasant, maybe a little dark. The side salads were very fresh and tasty, and the tomato basil house dressing is wonderful. The spaghetti lunch special (with meat sauce) was a good portion and well prepared. The penne arrabbiata was a little bland but had the right amount of spicy heat. We would have loved to try the bread but it never arrived at the table. Service was fine otherwise. read more

The first time we moved to Beaumont from NJ, we ordered from here and we were sorely disappointed. After hearing about the new ownership from Antoine Ware we gave it some time to adjust and tried again tonight and it is MUCH better. The Penne Pasta is so good! The sauce on the pizza is much tastier as is the cheese. The pizza dough could use more flavor, like a buttery garlic finish but it's not bad at all. I called Uber eats and ordered a pizza because I was staying at a hotel pretty close. 1st of all the pizza was not cooked it was raw. 2nd of all it was smothered with cheese which usually is a good thing except this cheese was nasty you could not see the sauce they were so much cheese and to tell you the truth I could hardly taste the sauce.. Had a great night here with my hubs while visiting the area. We felt like Italian & we weren't disappointed! Mathew was great and informative about the area. The stuffed pie is very similar to a place we love in metro atlanta called Biba's. That serves stuffed pie. The only suggestions I would make is to extend the filling more to the edge. Also a better drink menu for people who don't drink wine. Coke or sweet tea?... Other than that everything was wonderful. My hubs suggested they bake it a little longer being we substituted mushrooms for the Canadian bacon. We love you worked with us, def plus! This was the prettiest pizza I have ever ate hands down. Fantastic meal and experience this week while working in Beaumont. The food is top notch and as authentic as you can get. Had the veal parm and it was perhaps the best I've had in years. Crispy outside, juicy inside, and the right amount of sauce and cheese. Buddy had a pasta trio and remarked it was all excellent. Even the house salad dressing was creative and good (a tomato based dressing that was quite unique and good). Service friendly and professional. So the only less than expected (and hence 4 stars) was the antipasto. The salami was the only noteworthy meat. The cheeses were just oddly presented-- both the blue cheese and provolone were crumbled/grated rather than in chunk. It seemed obvious that used the cheese they have on-hand for other dishes. Made it odd to eat with bread. (Bread is very good.). So, yes, go here. You'll be very pleased! Molto bene! read more

Sincerely a nice place to eat with the family. We celebrated New Years Eve here with a table of about 15+ and the staff was truly able to accommodate us with great food and a fun time before we went to our party festivities. The calamari and lobster ravioli were really good. In fact no one had any complaints and that is a great thing with such a large group and so many different tastes. I didn't know this place was here until I was told and now that i know I will never forget. UPDATE: So I have been here several times and tried various items since my first review. The pizza is good. The only slice I don't like is their Margarita. Don't order anything with chicken. I repeat, do NOT order anything with chicken. I have ordered several different items with chicken and time and time again the chicken is rubbery, bland, and tasteless. I feel like I am eating plastic. However, their Alfredo sauce is very light. Maybe it's watered down, I don't know, but it makes it a very nice light meal and doesn't have you feeling the repercussions of a heavy sauce. Maybe it was just one of those days when I first tried their bread because it has been cheesy every single time since I have been back. Yummy! Expect butter as the accompaniment, not olive oil... just an FYI. The regular side salad is still ehh. If you really want a salad order their Caesar, but don't add chicken. Best calzone would have to be their 'Spinach Calzone.' Mouthwatering! Their 'Combo Dish' containing lasagna, manicotti, and ziti with mozzarella cheese on top is a great meal to order if you are starving. It will fill you up! The strawberry cheesecake is good, as well as their german chocolate, but their Italian cream cake is somewhat dry. Prices are reasonable especially, their 'Lunch Specials.' Love this location. We've been eating here for years and have never been disappointed. We really like the ambiance - nice low key lighting, tabletop candles and lounge music gently wafting in the background. It reminds us of the much-missed-Carlo's. Highly recommend my wife and I enjoyed the young lady (Hanya) serving us she is refreshing with her smile and great attention to taking care of her customers. We had a New York stuffed supreme pizza. Terrible and disappointed....... First, my cohorts and trainer choose this restuarant for lunch as 'our last meal together.' We had a training class of about 8 trainees and 1 trainer, making it a total of 9 individuals. It's a clean and well kept restaurant compared to their other location. I would have thought our orders would have been easy simple fact that it was a pizza place but it wasn't. Our server was not efficient when delivering the food and drinks. Majority of us ordered waters with lemon. The server was making it hard on herself by asking: "who ordered a water with lemon?" When all she could have done was bring the waters and a plate of lemons, problem solved but she didn't. Once she dropped the waters off, she never came back to check on us (keep in the mind the restaurant wasn't that busy for us to get neglected). I ordered a side salad and another one of my cohorts had also ordered a salad, we didn't get the salads til 30 minutes after we ordered it -_- salad was poorly made....but not as worst as the pizza. We ordered two large pizzas. One of the pizzas (which happened to be mines) was half done! The dough was still white, the bottom of the pizza wasn't even done all the way! It was horrible. Poorly made. But the manager came and apologized for that and made us a new, fresh slice pizza. She was super nice and helpful. Our initial server was useless because we had to tell our servers to help us, smh. I recently visited the downtown location of NYPP where they are now offering a crustless pizza bowl that caters to the most popular keto dieters. Not really knowing what to expect or how to order, the kind waitress helped me. She told me it was just like a pizza but with no crust. I could order any toppings I would want on a personal pan pizza. So I ordered sausage, pepperoni, onions and bell peppers for my toppings. It is made moments before serving. It didn't take long to because there was no crust to cook. I also ordered a Caesar salad which was extra. The bowl was large and arrived very hot. Because there is no crust the bottom of the bowl was bathed in succulent pizza sauce with the ingredients you ordered to go with it. Then there was the layers of bubbly cheese on top. After allowing it to cool for a while I needed a knife to cut through the cheese. The taste of the cheese, sauce, meat and veggies was packed with flavor and freshness. A twist on a common dish that was done uncommonly well. The only thing I would do different is ask for more protein. I am a meat lover when it comes to pizza. There was enough pepperoni but not enough sausage for me. The flavor though was outstanding. One last thing I really liked was feeling full but not feeling stuffed, another advantaged to keto. This is a low carb, pizza lovers dream come true. So if you're searching for restaurants that offer low carb options, add NYPP to your list. I'm not from Beaumont but whenever I am visiting, this is my favorite place to go. The food comes out fresh and delicious every time! They also serve bread before your meal which is very good as well and it comes with butter and an oil mixed with herbs.
