We have been looking to try a different pizza shop for a while. We came across this one on Yelp. It stated NY style pizza so we gave it a try. The service was good very polite and decently quick. This place was smaller than expected. There were a few tables there to dine in, but it looked like mostly take out. Back to the pie, we got a Mushroom and Green pepper and it was delicious enough topping and not too much cheese and thin. Being from the east coast it's hard finding a decent pie here. Great price for a great slice. At $3.50 a slice you definitely get your money's worth as the cut is large. The crust is thin and crispy, the cheese is flavorful and it has just the right amount of sauce. My one regret is I didn't buy two slices! I placed my order and received it within 3 minutes. Overall the customer service was good as the counter person was very polite and answered all of my questions. When they say New York pizza, this is very close to what you would get at a good pie shop in one of the boroughs or Manhattan. Great for a Scooby snack!!!! I'll make this short. I was getting boba next door and I couldn't deny the smell of pizza wafted in the air. I was starving and I haven't had just a slice one ages. I always order full size pizza with my sister elsewhere. Walked in and the gentleman at the counter was nice ans chill. Ordered a pepperoni slice and went back to the boba shop to get my drink and await my pizza. It's a father/son duo offering delicious pizza, variety of toppings, fast/friendly service and reasonable prices. I went in for the first time on Wed... went back Thurs, Fri, and Sun! So good! Do yourself a favor and do not order a medium. Also, unless you are specifically looking for thin crust then specify you that you want the thick crust. I think their bigger pizzas will probably be better but I wont be going back to find out. I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza that really was an onion pizza. Onion flavor was way too strong and I like onion but this was just bad. Flavorless chicken and barely any buffalo flavoring. Also, some of the slices barely had chicken on them which is saying a lot considering how small the pizza is. Just a terrible pizza to be honest. I also ordered a NY Super Combo that was slightly burnt and just lacked flavor. There was barely any sausage on it but they made sure to go to town with the mushrooms. The salami had a strange taste. Cheese didn't taste that good either. It's my fault for trusting a pizza place could pull off what they are selling. I normally don't care for reviews but after a long day of work, long traffic and then paying almost 40 dollars for two small very disappointing pizzas, I feel some people may want to know what they might experience. I wish I would've ordered a large thick crust pizza. Hard to mess that up. I chose to try this spot over other places and I just feel disappointed. Truly disappointed. It's just pizza right? Nothing inherently bad about this place. The thing is they're called New York Pizza. Yet only have a rolling oven like Pizza Press use at all their location. This makes the crust more so like a pita than actual pizza crust. I got a medium veggie while on break for work and it costed about $21. And by medium this was a pizza press individual size. Essentially you can get the same size with far more toppings at pizza press foe $12.99. As for service the lady at the register seemed a bit disappointed to be working there. I was the first to hi, I was the first to say thank you, she just seemed like she wasn't the happiest to be there. Overall there was nothing inherently wrong with the place but a name of 'Fast Pizza' or 'Pizza Stop' would be far more accurate than N Y Pizza as this is nothing like NY Pizza. read more

My husband and I each ordered a single slice of pizza on a Friday night. Located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. It came to under $10 for two fresh slices. It took about 5-6 minutes to bake our slices. The pepperoni slice I ordered was large, delicious, fresh and perfect. It wasn't greasy. The sauce was perfect and I can taste the butter in the crust. Came in here to get a snack as we were waiting for our spot at Manaow, and we were thoroughly impressed by how good and well valued their pizzas were! Each slice was big enough to share for 2 people, and their whole pie prices are amazing too so we are definitely coming back here for their King Kong pizza. Interesting. We ordered a thin crust pepperoni and mushroom. When the pizza arrived, it looked like it had no cheese. There was some but not much. The pizza was ok. Nothing special. We also ordered garlic knots. There wasn't much garlic and they were definitely not knots...more like phallic looking dough sticks. That was disappointing. I can't let the bad reviews slide! I've been a returning customer for years now, and I'm never disappointed. It's one of the best pizza spots in OC, and I've tried a lot of different spots. They make it easy to call in or order online, and it's always fast service. It is a small space, two tables and a few bar style stools. I usually take out, but the staff is always nice. I've never been to New York. I've never had real New York Pizza. I've never ate pizza from Tustin, CA. Until... now! Well this is definitely a hole in the wall joint. Located off Newport ave in a strip mall with a very generic sign, this place is easy to miss... all you see is a sign in a sans serif font that says NY PIZZA. That's it! We ordered a large meatlovers with added onions & banana peppers. It took about 15 min but it was worth the wait. The crust was thin but oh so delicious. I loved how it wasn't a grease bomb. I appreciated how every bite didn't taste like preservative city like pizza does from Pizza Hut. The ingredients were all SO fresh. It was so flavorful & cooked to perfection. There wasn't too much sauce to where it goes everywhere when you take a bite, nope, there was just the right amount. me want more!!!! The business name says it all. NEW YORK PIZZA! This place deserves a glowing review. I bet the owner works there and that is why everything was so tasty. We ordered last minute late last night, just before closing through Grubhub. We are out of towners, and they delivered to our hotel room. We had calzone, antipasto salad, and cheese sticks. I've never had so much flavor on a cheese sticks! It's more like a mini extra cheese pizza in the shape it was in. And the calzone?! Died and went to heaven. We ordered it with Alfredo sauce. Very impressed and definitely tastes like New York Pizza. One small small detail and I hate to even being it up because everything was so good, but the marinera sauce (which by the way was so good) was half cold have warm. Maybe it was refrigerated then they heated it up, but it didn't heat all the way thru. And it's not that it was bad, but I took a dip in it, it was warm, and then a second dip was cold. Good pizza and great garlic knots. I do like a thin crust and less tomato sauce on my slice, so this is perfect: it's not drowning in sauce or anything and will crisp up nicely when reheated. Not the friendliest service but they've never messed up any of my orders and they're fast. Pay attention to the sizes of their pizzas. A large is only 14" (I've never understood why people always ask about how many slices the pie has--a 10" pizza and an 18" pizza can both be cut into 8 pieces but each is going to be a significantly different size), so it's probably only good for 2 moderately hungry people. They do go way bigger than that, though, so get the King Kong pizza if you need to. read more
