We went for the lunch buffet and it was really underwhelming and overpriced. They used vermicelli for the phad thai and for $19.00 each we were expecting the right noodles. The flavor of the curry was not good and the butterflies were overcooked. All in all I would not recommend it. read more

We got to the Thai House at 4:15 and noticed they open at 4:30. The door was open and they were gracious and inviting and allowed us to order early. We love their pad thai and trued drucken noodles as something new. We also love their fresh spring rolls. As always everything was delicious and served quickly with a smile! I generally love Pad Thai, but the Beef Pad Thai here was HORRIBLE. 1) It had no flavor, 2) it was dry, and 3) it barely had any beef. I was extremely disappointed. We ordered a take out from here while staying in Yakima. There is a free public parking for 2 hrs right across the street from the restaurant. I had the green curry with steamed tofu. I ordered "Thai hot" and asked for as spicy as they could make it but it was not spicy enough (as is the case with most Thai places in the US). The curry was delicious though, fresh veggies, tofu was firm and not falling apart, not too oily, great flavor. The kids had rice noodles with chicken- lot of meat and appeared quite oily but they liked it. The husband had beef panang (spice level 4 and also did not find it spicy enough) and liked his dish as well. He also commented that there was a lot of meat. We also ordered 3 orders of egg rolls but they had only one order left. A bit pricy but portions were generous and flavors were great! I'd return again! read more

This is a really beautiful location with modern decor. The server was also very attentive. The seafood Tom Kha soup was a wonderful mix of seafood and sweet and soup was exceptional. The seafood Penang curry was amazing. The #59 (forgot the name) was a great flavor of chicken, beef and shrimp. The menu has some added items after some sections. My favorite place to get a 5 star pad kee mao in Yakima! Not a fan of the pad thai here (Yakima Thai makes it better imo) but Pad Kee Mao and the lunch buffet are good choices. If you like spice, just get a 5 star it's not crazy spicy here. Service is the friendliest in a sit down thai restaurant and I walk out fairly happy. The service here is amazing! I have a shellfish allergy but love thai food and the staff was so accommodating in making sure they kept shellfish away and working with me to find something to eat. Going so far as to let me know a sauce in the peanut sauce had traces of shellfish. Their food is also just so yummy and flavorful. My favorite being their Yellow Curry with a Thai Tea. We looked at Yelp and identified a couple of Thai places, the first was closed for the Memorial Day weekend, and this was the second. What can I say, the food was terrific we ordered a massaman curry for Di, and basil fried rice for me. The curry was interesting since it was the first time we have seen it with pineapple, but delicious. The fried rice was tasty, but a little under-seasoned for me... a little chilli paste fixed that. We went inside for a sit down meal. Wait staff was friendly and mostly attentive. Ambience is okay. Husband enjoyed his yellow curry. I however had the orange chicken and it was not enjoyable. There was very little sauce on the chicken, like maybe they ran out? Each piece of the breaded chicken was hard on the outside and dry on the inside, extra sauce may have helped soften the pieces. There was no table knife to cut through the pieces and a fork couldn't do the job. I ended up stabbing each piece and eating it off the fork. Why didn't I ask for a knife... that was when the wait staff did not check in at the back of the restaurant where we were seated. Anyway, I'll consider that a one off and not order the orange chicken on future visits. read more

Shared the Butterflies which we requested to come before our meal. They were some of the best Butterflies we've tasted. My mother and I shared an order of Pad Thai while my spouse had the Orange Chicken with rice. Both dishes were good, but not great. The issue was the very, very long wait for lunch. We arrived just after noon and finished at 1:15 since it took a long time for our orders to be taken and for our orders to arrive. They do a lot of take-out which we felt slowed down the orders for the inhouse guests. Take out may be the better option if one has a limited amount of time. read more

Randomly found this place and more recently a huge fan of Thai. I cannot tell you how thankful I am to have had the experience to eat here. We started with the spring rolls and I order the red curry with spice #4. The server warned me that everything very spicy and I went with it. My husband asked her for a suggestion of her favorite meal and she mentioned the noodles. He ended up ordering the beef noodle spice #3 and I got the red curry with tofu. Amazing service right off the bat! I asked the server what she Recommended and she did not disappoint! I went with the Kee Mao Noodles with shrimp and it was amazing! I got 4 level of spice and it was quite tasty and gave the noodles that little kick. The Thai Iced Tea was perfect blend of just sweet enough! Highly recommend that combo! I ordered a take out late lunch, pad see ew, around 3:00 right before they close before dinner. I got home opened meal, noodles were over cooked to point of being mashed, and small chips of meat were hard, dry, and too hard to chew. This appeared to be food left over from all day meals. The following morning I took meal back and asked for a refund, they insisted on giving me another meal. I accepted the meal, I got home and the noodles were again over cooked and the meal was so salty I could not eat it. Sadly this was one of my favorite places to eat, I will NOT be returning. read more

After a long dry spell of eating out, Thai takeout really hit the spot! Our group of four ordered the Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, Vegetable Fried Rice, and Panang Curry, all vegetarian with tofu. The portions were very generous and we had enough left over for lunch the next day. The Pad See Ew and Pad Thai were both very flavorful and had plenty of sauce! The only drawback was the tofu came in really large uncooked cubes and was quite bland and lacking in flavor. I have been to this restaurant multiple times with my family. I have had the yellow curry before and was content but when I ordered the chicken chow mein I was extremely disappointed. It arrived 30 minutes later than anyone else's dish at my table. These noddles are crispy noodles which I was fully aware of but the sauce was overly salty and vegetables overpowered the dish. There was hardly any chicken either. The worst dish I have every had to be honest. Again the curry is good as well as the pad thai or any noodle labeled dishes there just avoid any Chinese dishes. read more

The food is amazing and the service is wonderful! They also have an all-you-can-eat buffet 11am-2pm Monday through Friday, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to try it out before I moved out of Yakima. Ordered papaya salad they were all out of and we were told before our main course was served. Main dishes were orange chicken and chicken green curry with rice. Loved the orange chicken very crispy wish it had more sauce. The green curry dish was very liquidy with a lot of chicken and the rice was stale and cold. As a huge Thai food fan I was expecting quite a bit but unfortunately, this place was a let down. I ate in the restaurant for lunch and ordered the green curry with chicken (level 1-2 spicy). It's very upsetting that rice DOES NOT come with the dish since it costs $12.95. I had to order a small side of rice ($2 extra?!? SMH...). The curry was spiced well but it was very watery. I prefer thicker curries and it could use a tad more coconut milk. There were green & red bell peppers, carrots, bamboo shoots, Thai basil and green beans and all veggies were nice and crisp. The chicken itself was fine. The portion overall was too small considering the price. The vibe of the restaurant sure didn't feel like an authentic Thai place. I'm used to traditional Thai decor but this place only had a few "Asian" wall hangings. I wish the taste of the dish, while solid, was able to salvage my visit but too many negatives outweighed the positives. read more

We stopped here while on our way to Seattle and everything was meh. I ordered the veggie green curry with a medium spice level. It came out very watery and not even close to the spice level that I wanted. I didn't finish it. One of my friends had veggie pan fried noodles, but the portion size was tiny for the price. Another one of my friends ordered a vegan dish. Upon the arrival of the food, she asked what the broth was made of and was told it was chicken based. That is not vegan! When she asked for a different dish it was still chicken based. She could get seriously ill from having animal based products because she has been vegan for so long. It was unacceptable. Do not order the "vegan" meals at all. The only decent meal was the orange chicken. To sum up: the price we paid for the food was not worth it, the vegan option is NOT VEGAN, and the proportions are not equal. 13/10 would not recommend. read more
