Highly recommend this restaurant in Yakima! Came here for lunch - got the Thai basil chicken fried rice and Thai tea. 100% perfect. Ordered the fried rice at a level 3, should have done a 4 since I couldn't taste the spice that much. Otherwise - the veggies were perfect, rice was yummy, and lots of chicken.

Chicken Phad Thai - Spicy ** The two star spicy order of chicken Phad Thai was PHENOMENAL!

A lunch date this afternoon turned into a new favorite restaurant! The service, ambience, food, everything was splendid. There was soo much to choose from on the menu leaving me with multiple opportunities to come back and experience more! The service was top notch, the ambience was perfect for a conversation. Thank you so much! Today we had the fried spring rolls, butterflies, and chicken Phad Thai.

We ordered a take out from here while staying in Yakima. There is a free public parking for 2 hrs right across the street from the restaurant. I had the green curry with steamed tofu. I ordered "Thai hot" and asked for as spicy as they could make it but it was not spicy enough (as is the case with most Thai places in the US). The curry was delicious though, fresh veggies, tofu was firm and not falling apart, not too oily, great flavor. The kids had rice noodles with chicken- lot of meat and appeared quite oily but they liked it. The husband had beef panang (spice level 4 and also did not find it spicy enough) and liked his dish as well. He also commented that there was a lot of meat. We also ordered 3 orders of egg rolls but they had only one order left. A bit pricy but portions were generous and flavors were great! I'd return again!

This is a really beautiful location with modern decor. The server was also very attentive. The seafood Tom Kha soup was a wonderful mix of seafood and sweet and soup was exceptional. The seafood Penang curry was amazing. The #59 (forgot the name) was a great flavor of chicken, beef and shrimp. The menu has some added items after some sections. It was confusing so my husband ended up ordering the wrong dish!

My go to!!! 5 star pork pad kee mao ($13.45)

My favorite place to get a 5 star pad kee mao in Yakima! Not a fan of the pad thai here (Yakima Thai makes it better imo) but Pad Kee Mao and the lunch buffet are good choices. If you like spice, just get a 5 star it's not crazy spicy here. Service is the friendliest in a sit down thai restaurant and I walk out fairly happy. Kind of wish portions were a little bigger though.

Very good fried rice, which is what I always look for in a Chinese restaurant. In the evening the parking is accessible.

Fresh rolls, phad thai and panang curry were very good. If you like spicy, ask for all the stars (5).

Delicious! Still makes my mouth water thinking about their curry. We had takeout and it was hot, flavorful, and fresh. Highly recommend.

We shared multiple appetizers, all of which were beautifully prepared and full of flavor. For our entrees, we had the Chilean sea bass, tuna, and steak--each dish was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. The drinks were just as impressive as the food, and the desserts were the perfect finale. The key lime pie and brownie sundae were rich, balanced, and incredibly satisfying. On top of the amazing food and drinks, the service was truly wonderful--attentive, friendly, and made the evening feel special without being rushed. A flawless dining experience all around. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion--or any night out.

After a guided float down the river, we stopped at Canyon River Grill, and it was the perfect spot to wrap up the adventure. The atmosphere was welcoming, and we felt perfectly comfortable coming in from the river in casual attire even though the food and drinks were decidedly upscale. I had the Chargrilled Columbia River Salmon with roasted peaches, pecans, and potatoes. It was fresh, flavorful, and so good I am still thinking about it. To drink, I ordered the Purple Hoh-bo which was an incredibly tasty craft cocktail and paired beautifully with the meal. There is a reason everything tasted so fresh. The chef's garden supplies the restaurant with seasonal produce straight from the garden, and you can taste the difference. Service was attentive, the vibe was relaxed, and with Red's Fly Shop in the same building, it is the perfect spot to end a day outdoors. Canyon River Grill is a gem with refined food in a down-to-earth riverside setting. Five stars. I would return in a heartbeat.

The "kuro-buta" (direct translation: black pig) pork chop was fantastic. It was the special of the day. I hope they put it on the regular menu. It was so tasty. Let's talk about this…read more. WaterFire has been our staple for date night times away from the kids. Although the previous experience has been great this time was lackluster. What was once our flavorful regular was now a dull and bland. Au jus was water with a hint of flavor, horseradish sauce was a warm water based cream with the deprived pungent horseradish taste we've all grown to love. The French dip sadly tasted better without all of its companions. Next up was the Wagyu cheeseburger, seemed to have a grainy texture to its bites, with a disappointing finish. The WF calamari was tweaked adding green olives and whole tentacles, which was weird considering it's never been that way. Honestly the best item we got was the Gorgonzola wagyu beef kabobs. These were cooked to perfection and gave us that reversion we craved. Although this was our first bad experience here, it will not deter us from returning. When I get the chance to revisit I will update this review in hopes for the better.

Honestly, I really wanted to love this place because I had heard such great reviews about it. The…read moreambience is very cute, but unfortunately the service was extremely disappointing. It started with our drinks. My friends ordered peach martinis, but two purple martinis came out instead. I asked the waiter what flavor they were and he said pear. I explained that we didn't order those, and eventually the correct peach martinis were brought out. However, they were oddly placed in front of me instead of the friends who actually ordered them and didn't have drinks yet. Then when our food arrived, one of my friends had ordered pesto pasta with specific instructions, but she was served Alfredo instead. Because of that mistake, we had to wait additional time for the correct dish. Earlier in the meal we were also asked if we wanted bread, and we assumed it was complimentary. When the checks arrived, we noticed the bread had been charged to one of the cards randomly. It would have been nice to know upfront that there was a cost for it. Being open and transparent about things like that is important in this industry and helps build trust with customers. Unfortunately, things continued to go wrong. All four of us had leftovers, and the restaurant takes the food to the back to pack it up for you. When our waiter returned with the boxes, he gave the meals to the wrong people. Luckily we opened them to double check, especially since there had already been several mix-ups throughout the night. I'm not exactly sure what went wrong, but we were seated on the upper level and there was no one else around us. Regardless of whether a restaurant is busy or not, there should still be a standard of service, and unfortunately that was not reflected during our visit. Mistakes can happen, but acknowledging them and making an effort to fix them goes a long way, and that was something we didn't experience from our waiter.
