The 'Andrea International', based off the grain ratio of Blanton's

Admittedly, I'm not 100% sure I really want to write a review on Newberry Brothers, lest everyone find out Cinci's best-kept secret. This is, in fact, **the best bourbon bar in town**! Hosting over 1,400 unique bourbon's and rye whiskeys, the shelves at Newberry Brothers are stocked 3 bottles deep. Only someone as knowledgeable as Peter Newberry (owner and bartender extraordinaire) would know each bottles location.... and their grain composition ratios! Make sure to grab a seat at the bar to glean some of Peter's never-ending knowledge, and don't hesitate to ask for a custom flight. Might I recommend the 'Andrea International'??

Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly servers, and a great lecture on alcohol from Peter! I would definitely re-visit. Such a cute place :)

Best bourbon bar in NKY!!! The customer service is always A+, the drink selection is LARGE, and the atmosphere offers a variety of choices depending on what your looking for. Let me explain; the front of the shop is calm, warm, and like your hometown coffee shop...the back room of the shop is usually more upbeat, vibrant, and like what you would get at a bar....lastly, the outside courtyard is pretty much the best of both worlds! When I'm looking for a good scotch or bourbon to try I can depend on Newberry Brothers to have something familiar and something off the beaten path. My go to drink here as of late has been the Kentucky Mule and my wife highly enjoys the amoretto sour. Overall, this is a must go spot to enjoy time with fiends or taking that special someone out for a coffee. Speaking of coffee...the Irish coffee is a great choice as well!

3rd Sunday Breakfast...... Excellent.....Great atmosphere, pets welcome and nice dire pit. Prohibition- top 50 Bourbon Bars in the US. In my opinion this is in the top 50 Cinnamon Bun / Breakfast Treats establishements....a lot of work by owner.

This place is a hidden gem. One of the BEST collections of burbon in the area. The bartender had an extensive knowledge of bourbon, and was incredibly friendly. AND THEY HAVE PAPPY! Needless to say, I am very impressed!

I want to say this place is awful so you will stay away and it could be my little secret. But I can't. I could tell you how awesome the bourbon selection is but you already know if you've read the other posts. I could tell you about the atmosphere and the ambiance and how on a nice night there is nothing like it in the tri-state. But someone else surely has already mentioned that too. I could talk about Peter - the owner and how his stories must be made up or he has lived 9 lives bc there is no way one person could have so many border line unbelievable stories. Again, someone else has already mentioned him in other reviews. I could talk about Peter's wife who I've never formally met, but she table to table making sure everyone is having a good time and every dog has a treat - but I saw that mentioned too. I could talk about the craziness behind his Sunday morning bakery and how people line up down the street (LITERALLY) in hopes to get a croissant. Instead I'll talk about how you should go and check it out to support the bar and the wonderful owners. Good people run the place and the bar is second to none in my opinion, can't wait to get back there.

The ham and cheese croissant was amazing! The croissant itself was perfectly flaky and buttery; and whoever thought to stuff it it--genius! We really wanted to try the goetta cheese stuffed croissant, but the people in front of us in line got the last one. This was at 12 noon on a Sunday, so a word to the wise, get there early to get the good stuff! Now that I know this, I will definitely be back to get the goetta cheese croissant soon. We also had a cinnamon roll which was pretty darn big and covered in icing, and paired perfectly with my latte! Sitting outside was a perfect touch to this brunch, we enjoyed the patio, the sun and the neighborhood. To those who say that 6$ is too much for the croissants, I have to disagree, this thing is like a whole meal, I mean, it is a sandwich. I also couldn't help but drool over their bourbon selection, and bourbon flight menu. Cant wait to come back!

Okay here's the deal, this place is an awesome little coffee shop that will soon also be a wine bar and bistro! Yay!! Another place for happy hour after work. I spoke with one of the owners this morning and learned that they roast their beans every two days, and they whole sale them as well. They also bake their pastries every morning, super fresh and YUMMY. You have to try the Chocolate Croissant. Oh and the Morning Glory Muffin... sooo good! Their hours right now are limited to certain days and times, double check before you head over. You have to check this place out if you're in the area. Or make the trip, it's worth it!

Fresh morning stuffed croissant....best N KY breakfast I ever had ;)

My boyfriend is a lover of whisky/bourbon so we came here for the vast collection they have. They have a lot of really good, expensive bottles of hard to find whisky. I got a bottle of wine for $25 and I ended up ordering their grilled cheese sandwich. It had white cheddar, buffalo mozzarella, fig jam, and honey. It was pressed like a panini and it was sooooooooo good! The only bad thing about this place was that there was a ton of gnats flying around

I give this a 5/5 due to their new prohibition bar. The selection is unbelievable! I took my husband to get a bourbon flight. He got the Cin City and loved it. Although I am not a bourbon fan, I still enjoyed a Moscow mule that was very refreshing. We also ordered the apple pie a la mode--very delectable. The servers were very nice and checked on us several times. One man even offered to give our dog some treats and water which was so nice! The patio was a great place to sit out in the lights and enjoy our drinks. We will definitely be back. We just wish they were open more days of the week!

This is one of the best if not THE best bourbon bars in the world. I totally geeked out on their selection and could've gone bankrupt easily sipping rare/impossible to find bourbons. Unbelievable! P.S. ask Peter about his relationship to Pappy...

Amazing place. Amazing owners. Amazing selections. You can't go wrong here. Peter and Kim strive to make your visit the best it can be. Selections selections selections. I have never seen so much bourbon in my life and anyone who knows more about it than Peter. If you love bourbon this is a must. Want beer, wine or mixed drinks? Got that too. The best addition to our neighborhood in a long time. Almost forgot, coffee and pastries too. Yum. I'm glad I live a few blocks away

From the moment I sat down at the bar, owner Matt and the bartenders made me feel genuinely welcome. They took the time to learn my name, offer recommendations, and check in throughout the evening without ever being overbearing. It's a rare gift to make a solo guest feel seen while still giving them space to enjoy their own company. The food was outstanding. I ordered the baked brie with the honeycomb (trust me, get the honeycomb) and every bite was delicious. The combination of warm brie, puff pastry, honey, and nuts was incredible. Matt's wine recommendation was equally spot on. What impressed me most, though, was the atmosphere. Ripple strikes the perfect balance between sophisticated and comfortable. Whether you're on a date, catching up with friends, or simply enjoying a quiet evening alone, you'll feel right at home. I arrived as a first-time guest and left feeling like a regular. I've made my way through the entire menu (food and drinks), and there honestly isn't a single item I wouldn't recommend. Everything is consistently spot on every single time. That kind of reliability is hard to find, and it's exactly why I keep coming back. That said, a few personal favorites stand out. The goat cheese flatbread appetizer is a non-negotiable. It's the kind of dish you order "for the table" but secretly don't want to share. The cacio e pepe and pasta rustica are also incredible and always hit. As for drinks, the seasonal espresso martini is always a go-to and never disappoints. But my personal favorite is either the regular old fashioned or, when I'm feeling myself, the wagyu old fashioned... especially if Scott is behind the bar. He clearly knows what he's doing, and it shows. The service is always warm, attentive, and consistent, which makes the whole experience even better every time. Service wasn't the fastest, but everyone was friendly and welcoming. What really stood out for me was the vegan menu. I was genuinely excited to see solid options, and I'd absolutely go back just to work my way through more of them. I ordered the Vegan Chardonnay pizza -- bianca sauce, roasted garlic, roasted mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, vegan cheese, and rosemary. I'm usually not a white sauce person, but this one completely won me over. It was rich, flavorful, and balanced in a way that made every bite interesting without feeling heavy. The crust was also excellent -- that perfect mix of airy and crisp. Bonus: the leftovers reheated surprisingly well in a dry pan on the stove. The only downside was the garlic... and I mean seriously heavy. I smelled like garlic for a full 24 hours afterward, despite brushing, mouthwash, showering, and mints. Not subtle. Still, I'd order it again without hesitation. Worth it.
