Worst dental experience of my life. They try to milk everything out of your insurance and are incompetent at dentistry 1. I went to them to look at a sensitive tooth and they immediately charged a bunch of stuff to my insurance and told me everything was fine. The dentist Lapage didnt even want to look anywhere else but the tooth in question (despite them running a separate offer for a discounted dental exam) even though they were billing hundreds of dollars to my insurance company to look at one tooth. 2. I went again and then the dentist referred me to the oral surgeon who looked at one side of the mouth and then said there is nothing wrong. Now three visits in and lots of billed stuff to insurance but no solution. 3. A few weeks later I had to go back as it got worse and had to go to another dentist (Bhagavatula?) on an emergency basis. She was good at diagnosing it as a crack using just a special flashlight of some sort and then did the filling. Again billed hundreds of dollars to insurance + emergency visit cost 4. I needed an adjustment on the same filling since it was hitting the other jaw (which I could only tell after the novocaine wore off). I went back to the regular dentist Lapage who made the minor adjustment and then billed my insurance hundreds of dollars again for something that should have been free 5. A few months after that the SAME tooth cracked right down the middle so clearly they hadnt done the initial filling properly either. Now they prepared a giant estimate of nearly 8000$ before insurance (I would have had to pay like ~3000$). 6. At this point I decided to just go somewhere else because firstly the charges were exhorbitant and then the service was shoddy. 7. Finally, they sent me another bill for additional emergency visits (2x $185, because they classified every visit as an emergency and the insurance would only pay for one emergency). I was getting calls from a creepy automated dialer and but I did listen to one and then went in and sort it out. I was able to knock one of emergency visit payments down and just paid the other to close this matter I am never going back there again! What a nightmare read more

Since I have a complicated dental issue, I wanted to switch dentists from Dr. David Monin to Dr. Jonathan Millen, who has much more experience. I made an appointment with Dr. Millen. Dr. Monin instructed the office manager, Estela Simaku, to cancel the appointment because he did not want me to see Dr. Millen. Ms. Simaku canceled the appointment without telling me. I only found out it was canceled when I called myself to confirm the appointment. But this is not nearly the worst of it. Dr. Monin told me that I would have to leave the clinic if I wanted to be seen by any other doctor there than himself. I said that is unacceptable for a dentist to prevent me from being seen by another dentist. I asked to speak to Dr. Millen directly. Later that (Saturday) afternoon, Ms. Simaku called me from her personal phone. She said that Dr. Monin had spoken to Dr. Millen, and they both agreed that I should leave the clinic if I wanted to be seen by Dr. Millen. This did not make any sense to me on many levels. Why would Dr. Millen prefer that I leave the clinic than by seen by him? Why would Ms. Simaku be calling me from her personal phone on a Saturday afternoon (when the office is closed) to tell me that I should leave the clinic? The reason became obvious to me: Dr. Monin preferred that I leave the clinic than switch to Dr. Millen. And Dr. Monin wanted me to believe that Dr. Millen agreed with him that I should leave the clinic so I would leave before getting to speak to Dr. Millen myself. That evening, I reached out to Dr. Millen via LinkedIn and told him what Dr. Monin and Ms. Simaku had told me. An hour later, I received an email from Ms. Simaku stating that Dr. Millen "would be happy to meet with me." This email was sent around 9 pm on a Saturday night! A few hours earlier, Ms. Simaku had told me that Dr. Millen thought I should leave the clinic. Now Dr. Millen was happy to see me? Either my message to Dr. Millen caused him to suddenly and drastically change his mind, or Dr. Monin and Ms. Simaku LIED to me. I think it is clear to anyone with half a brain that Dr. Monin LIED about speaking to Dr. Millen so that I would leave the clinic and not be able to switch to Dr. Millen. Dr. Monin thought I was stupid enough to believe that Dr. Millen would rather I leave the clinic than be seen by him. Ms. Simaku is also guilty for being complicit in these UGLY LIES. I have made all members of upper level management aware of this episode of gross ethical misconduct, including the CEO of 42 North Dental and the owners of Gentle Dental (who own and operate this clinic). I am filing complaints against Dr. Monin and Ms. Simaku with the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Dentistry. I will not stop until it is confirmed to me that Dr. Monin and Ms. Simaku have been TERMINATED from their employment and until I receive a formal written apology from Newberry Dental Associates, Gentle Dental, and 42 North Dental. I am prepared to file complaints with the ADA and Massachusetts Board of Registration in Dentistry against 42 North Dental unless they do this in a timely manner. Dr. Monin should forfeit his license to practice dentistry for lying to a patient. I trust that it will be revoked soon. read more

I just moved my care to Newbury Dental Associates. I have been very happy with my first experience. They were very accommodating with my requests. I saw Dr. Goldberg who was the nicest dentist one can think of for periodontal questions. He answered all my questions and reassured me. I also saw Dr. Millen for general dental care. My hygienist Ellen was really amazing, and explained me details I did not know about configuration of my teeth and better ways to floss and clean etc, I am so sad that she will be retiring. Front desk was also very helpful and accommodating. 1 star off because the 360 Xray machine was not working.. and the place seems a bit worn down, but at the same time has somewhat historical feeling. read more

Giving this 3 stars because the dentist do great work! I am very susceptible to build up and I don't think I've ever gotten such thorough cleanings and such great advice on how to keep my teeth clean. However, I left due to too many hidden costs. I was being charged for things that my insurance covered and if I hadn't questioned every bill then I would've continued to dish out so much money. I don't have time to be a liaison between my dental insurance and the office so unfortunately I decided to leave. Luckily after putting up a fight they sent me a refund (although that should've been done without the hassle of consistently calling). read more

I've been a regular patient at this office for over 6 years. I've been very pleased with this practice and the professionals operating there. I especially find Dr. Aaron Mulyadi a great new addition to the team. He recently replaced another doctor who had moved on. He has a great chair side manner, is a good listener, and wonderful overall dentist. My only complaint is with a disagreement I had over a dental night guard. I was charged approx. $550.- for one I could easily have purchased myself directly from a dental lab for only $119.00.-. I was told by Dr. Mulyadi that their guards are made better and last longer. However, I still was impressed by the 95% highly satisfied ratings of the dental labs which sell direct to customers at a fraction of the cost. I attempted to stop the order on the $550.- guard. Dr. Mulyadi informed me it had already been made even though the impression was done 3 days earlier and I was initially told it would be 2 weeks before it would be ready for pickup. He explained this by saying that it was done quickly because it had been Express mailed to Calif.. I did, however, follow through with my direct purchase from enCore Dental lab which I found on Amazon's site. I wanted to test the claim that Newbury Dental's "hard" guard is better. I found that the one I purchased from Newbury Dental was harder and thicker than the one I purchased for $119.- from encore. Just going by that it stands to reason that the more costly one will last longer. On the other hand, for the same price one can purchase 5 night guards from encore. This makes any necessary replacements due to shifting teeth and dental work much more affordable. Encore offers a $20.- reduction in price for duplicates. i went there because of my insurance but i was told by the receptionist that in order to make an apt. i would have to give $150 to hold the spot receptionist told me this is the procedure and it will be returned when u come back for the apt. I been waiting months for the return of my money. My insurance co. called them and asked them to return it but they refuse. All procedures were paid in full. But this office insist that there must be a balance due. Gentle dental finally put in a claim for consultant fee when i simply when in for just an xray so they will not refund all of my money. Help from my ins. co. made this office look into my claim otherwise i would have to get legal help and insurance co. told me i should have never paid $150. Numerous calls by me were ignored for several months. Numerous consultation fees were put on bills every time i went to there office. Never told that newbury dental assoc. would do this. This is a practice that is designed solely around generating profit, which comes in form of borderline shady/overcalling caries/generating procedures, which in turn, generates profits. ****Don't be fooled, this is the flagship location of "Gentle Dental," which is a poorly rated franchise in the New England area (look for yourself)*** I chose this place since I am a working professional (I'm in healthcare myself) and don't have any time M-F during regular dentist times. This franchise offers Saturday hours, which is likely a big draw for business. Where to start? First off, they separate the cleaning component with the dental exam/X-rays, forcing you to come back twice and generate two separate visits (likely related to generating more $$$). This is annoying and came as a surprise to me. Secondly, prior to this visit, I had seen my prior dentist (moved from another city) who is a professor at the local university, 6 months prior to my visit. At that check up, I had no caries by radiography or clinical exam. Magically, Newbury Dental Associates (or I mean, Gentle Dental) found three caries that needed immediate action. They attempted to semi-pressure me into staying that same day for the procedures. Additionally, they stated that I had a lesion on my tongue that could be squamous cell carcinoma (spoiler alert: it wasn't. I simply bit my tongue and it was healing). Three caries and clumsily delivered news about tongue lesions? That tripped several red flags and I went to a reputable dentist for a second opinion. I had 1 small carie that was of no immediate concern. I verified this diagnosis with my old professor in the other city that confirmed the single carie. Had I stayed with Gentle Dental, I would've undergone two unnecessary procedures for what? Some tips: 1) Do your research. Don't go to a dental franchise - dentists can hide their name/reputation behind the franchise name. It's another story when you got to a dental office that is personally owned by the dentist - their reputation is on the line and profits are leveraged with this fact. 2) I spoke with other friends about Gentle Dental, and one of them underwent 7 caries (!!!!) and still has oral pain from the procedure. Unfortunately she didn't seek a second opinion and was charged thousands. Who knows how many of those was unnecessary. Be wary. Run. Just don't do it. For those of you wondering which dentist I chose, I actually elected my fiance's dentist, Santamaria (on commonwealth). Superb experience and she was accurate. read more

My husband has been a patient of gentle dental on Newbury Street for years. He was fond of Dr. Coubrough, felt well cared for and liked the flexibility in scheduling (early morning or weekend appointments) to accommodate his busy work schedule. However, we received a large bill for a procedure performed more than a year prior -- this bill came out of nowhere and when asked why it was delayed, the manager said that they had some issues with their system and also said they had the wrong address for us. She recommended that I speak with our insurance company, which I did and learned that the type of cleaning my husband had is usually NOT covered by insurance when performed frequently and the hygienist should have discussed the financial implications prior to performing the procedure. This was very time consuming. We are very disappointed in the way Gentle Dental has handled this and unfortunately can't continue to be a customer moving forward due to this surprise bill for something that should have been routine dental cleaning. read more

Do not even consider for orthodontia unless you enjoy wasting money on poor quality work and unprofessionalism. I went in looking for a permanent retainer (had braces for years as a child, in my late 20s, and travel extensively for work so my plastic retainer I have had since I was an early teen seemed a little outdated and potentially a best pool for germs going through so many hotels). I saw the orthodontist and she told me my roots were crooked so I would need braces for a bit before getting the permanent retainer. While I didn't not want braces at this time in my life, I was told it would be for a short period of time and they had clear braces so you wouldn't be able to see them too much. I agreed because my bottom teeth were a bit off and there was one tooth on top that looked set back a bit that I was told would be corrected with braces. I was quoted 4k for everything, and gave my deposit to get started. Fast forward through the year I was kept in braces (doesn't seem like a "short time"), the orthodontist changed two times because they kept magically quitting, and I only found out after I was sitting in the chair and someone who I had never seen before started putting their hands in my mouth. As for my braces, when they were taken off there was limited change in my teeth from pre braces and a 5k spend (the amount increased from my original quote because 'we quoted it wrong'.... professional..). My bottom teeth are straighter, but the top tooth I was most concerned about was slightly adjusted, but still noticeably off. I was told for it to be fully aligned I would need to have my jaw broken and braces for another year. Not that I would have done that, but why wasn't I told that before I had braces for a year? Then, the orthodontist of the day didn't want to put on a permanent retainer because he "didn't believe in them" but finally acquiesced after my tears alerted the office manager that something was wrong and she said they would "do it this time". Just thinking of Gentle Dental/ Newbury Dental Associates and their poor practices in both orthodontia and general professionalism makes me regret the day I ever walked into their office. Making money by doing incorrect/incomplete work the first time and suggesting additional work to correct it is borderline theft to me, and changing quote and not doing the work that was agreed to without having to literally cry for it is poor practices to run an office on in my eyes. To make it even worse- and why I am writing this review now- is the orthodontist put the permanent retainer on wrong. According to two separate dentists, it is almost overlapping my gum thus inhibits flossing and correct dental care, which could lead to gum disease. My dentist wants to remove it and put if back on, thus causing more time and money for mistakes of Gentle Dental. Please do yourself a favor and don't even walk in the door. read more

I started going to Newbury Dental in 2019 after leaving my previous dentist of over 12 years because the financial district location was no longer easily accessible in my retirement. I visiting Newbury Dental the first time on June 14, 2019 for routine X-rays and cleaning and was told that I needed a scaling. The scaling was done by Dr. Heinstein on September 17, 2019 and I returned for a follow up cleaning on January 20, 2020. During the remainder of 2020 I had no scheduled appointments because of the Pandemic. The next time I went back to Newbury Dental was in November 2021 because of a pain in my lower left molar. Dr. Heinstein my dentist said the tooth was cracked and would need a crown and that the tooth in back of it also needed a filling. Both were done the same day. When I return for the permanent crown I still had the same pain so she decided I probably needed a root canal. The root canal was scheduled with Dr. Smolyar on January 6, 2021 and was completed it in two visits. The permanent crown was attached in February 2022. As of today date January 17, 2023 I am still having the same pain that I had in November 2021. I wrote to Newbury Dental August 8, 2022 to report that I was still in pain and learned that Dr Heinstein no longer worked there. I made an appointment to see Dr. Millen and he determined everything was fine as far as he could see. I can only say that I have been miserable for over a year and I am now looking for another dentist who can figure out the problem and will probably lose the tooth and more money. I don't plan on going back to Newbury Dental or recommending it to anyone I know. read more

I was referred to this location after their downtown location closed. After visit #1 the receptionist told me that I had a balance of over $400 from 3 years earlier which was impossible as I always pay my copay. They then told me that in order to dispute it, I would need to call my insurance and then loop their billing coordinator in on a 3 way call. When I did this, my insurance company told me to hang up as they do not discuss calls with providers while patients are on the line. The billing coordinator then called me and stated that the office failed to submit a claim for the procedure I had done 3 years earlier so it posted as my balance to pay. She said that she would reach out to her regional manager. Two weeks later I got a strange denial letter from my insurance company. I called and they told me that newbury dental submitted not 1, but 2, claims for a mouth guard that I never agreed to get. 4 weeks after that, I get another bill from newbury dental for the same $400 that was supposed to be addressed 6 weeks earlier. I had to call again for them to write off that balance. This practice is clearly after getting as much $ as they can and are a billing disaster. I will never set foot in there again. read more

Best dentists in Boston hands down! Located on Newbury st in Boston's back bay in a brownstone. The facility offers every kind of dentistry. I've been going to this dentist for close on twenty years. I've had all sorts of work done from crowns and fillings to a root canal and implants. Initially I changed all my metal fillings to porcelain and from there have had maintenance, cleaning and work done as required since. Dr Millen has been my dentist but I've used other specialists for implants and root canals. They have it all under one roof. The staff are friendly and thoughtful but also professional and hardworking. This comes from the top down, there's a buzz in the office of 'let's get it done'. Cannot say enough good things but if I have to add one more point it's that they are truly amazing when it comes to pain. After all the work I've had done I have never felt pain apart from the prick of a needle. long may they continue!! read more

Dentist was nice but the front desk staff in charge of billing just try to get you in and take your money. I made sure to ask first if my insurance would cover the procedures done before setting up my appointment and they said yes so I proceeded to my check up. A week later I get a call saying that my insurance doesn't cover my procedure and I ended up with a $350 balance for a filling. I feel like that information is needed to be known up before I sit into the dentists chair. I'll give two stars because the dentists are good but the people up front are con artists. So....I usually write one review on a business/product because my opinion would rarely change after my first review. My opinion has changed about Newbury Dental Associates....by one more star. Yes, SIX stars, for Dr. Millen. The man is a Superman. One can't possibly be this good to a complete care of your teeth. But he fits the bill! On every....single....visit there for almost three years, even if I'm not seeing him directly for a procedure, he will engage in a 'how are you feeling' conversation, a quick follow up if you will. I've seen him do that to the rest of the patients there while I wait. And it doesn't stop there! He not only is a 10 out of a 10 with his work, but he takes his time to advise me on a timeline of my future procedures, even suggests more favorable billing methods (Care Credit) I wasn't aware of, he answers all my questions, he tells it like it is. This is a problem some people can't understand. Dr. Millen's job (as should be with EVERY doctor) is not to sugar coat.....sugar + teeth = decay, right? It's his job to tell you exactly what is wrong with his teeth. X-Rays don't lie. He will show you your x-ray results to the screen right in front of you! Is that honest enough? lol. And it doesn't stop there. The entire office is a gem. Dr. Goldberg, Dr. Agha-Razi, Estelle (front desk), I can't remember the names of the rest of the Staff so my pre-emptive apologies. I attended a routine 6-month cleaning appointment here a few weeks ago at 4pm on February 22nd. The appointment itself was fine, although the hygienist was slow moving and seemed inexperienced. When the cleaning was finished, I was told by the hygienist that the dentist had "left for the day" and therefore my x-rays could not be reviewed until later and his cleaning work was left unchecked. I would have never made the appointment if I knew I would not actually be meeting with a dentist. This act was unacceptable and should not be tolerated. I received a call from the office on Wednesday, March 13th informing me that I have a cavity that needed to be filled. I asked for this situation to be escalated to the office manager, as this is a 3 week gap of time, but I have yet to hear from anyone or receive any apology. I am completely baffled by the total lack of professionalism and incompetency that has occurred surrounding this appointment. I would not recommend this office to others. read more

Very professional, but a bit impersonal. Of all the "Gentle Dental" branches I called, Newbury Dental was able to give me the earliest appointment date. I opted for their new patient offer and had to make two separate appointments for x-ray and cleaning. Each was done by a different dentist- neither of them Dr. Millen. The dentists I worked with were pleasant and thorough. I was scolded a bit during my scaling- as it had been a while (I deserved it, I know). The doctor who examined me and the x-rays however had a lot of unnecessary suggestions. She pushed a veneer for a tooth that is a bit smaller than the rest. I've had my fair share of dental work done and never has anyone suggested a veneer. I was also told that I needed all four wisdom teeth removed promptly- which I was very surprised to hear. I wanted to consult my regular dentist, but getting a copy of my x-rays was much more of a hassle than I anticipated, so I decided to just wait until my next trip home for a second opinion. After visiting my dentist at home, I was relieved to find out that again, she was just pushing unnecessary procedures. I would return for cleaning, but would recommend getting a second opinion for anything else. read more

Started coming here through recommendation of a friend. I find that while much of their staff is friendly and welcoming there are a few major issues I have. First, I called to schedule a cleaning as a first time patient. The receptionist took my information but did not inform me that the initial visit is really for more of an assessment and the actual cleaning would be done on a later date. IMPORTANT: If there is a rigid system you have in place, communicate that to your customers. Because of my schedule it was hard enough to schedule the first appointment. BE TRANSPARENT! The woman who helped me with the initial exam (X-rays etc) was very nice, my doctor was/is very nice also. My cleaning was ok. My previous dental hygienist spent around 25-30 minutes and my teeth would feel incredibly clean afterwards. This time was not long because of lack of hygiene but rather because of the level of care she provided. My cleaning at Newbury Dental was less than 20 and my teeth did not feel as clean. The hygienist was ok. About a month after this, I began to have severe pain which I have never experienced before. I went into the office after booking another appointment and was informed that I cracked a molar. The dates given to come in for a crown within the next month did not work with my schedule so my dentist suggested I come in the following day as there was a cancellation. I told her that I could make it but was worried about the cost and verified that if I could not afford the procedure immediately I could call and cancel. I booked the appointment with the receptionist, asked how much the procedure would be (over $850 after my insurance). I left the office on a Thursday at 4pm, my appointment was for the following Friday (at 9AM) As I had feared, I could not afford the option immediately and came to the decision that night that I would have to wait at least a week. I called the next morning at 8:04 (the office opens at 8) to inform the office I would not be coming in and the receptionist Sheila was incredibly rude about it! "Your appointment is in an hour and your canceling NOW?" I explained that the appointment was made late afternoon the day before and I called as soon as you opened. She then stated "Well your doctor is going to want a reason for you cancelling so late..." Excuse me? It's none of your business why, I'm calling to inform you I won't be in. Maybe I had a death in the family, maybe I broke my leg, maybe my eyelashes hurt...or maybe I embarrassingly can not afford an unplanned $850 expense and now feel horrified that I have to tell a rude stranger this truth... I chalked her poor customer service skills up to it being early in the morning and yes, it was last minute but so was the appointment. When I visited the next time however, I sadly witnessed Sheila being just as rude to a patient in the office. As a receptionist, your job requires you to be organized, friendly, and have skills to talk to people in a manor that is a not demeaning. While I can not speak to her skills in the first, I can tell you she significantly lacks the latter two which is sad because she has singlehandedly made me question if this is the right office for me. I also do not like that when something is proposed, numbers and costs are not able to be discussed immediately. Additionally, I find it rude that when I booked my 3 appointments after my initial one, the policy seems to be to just spit out the next available appointment (my last encounter with a male receptionist) "OK! I have booked you for Tuesday the (insert date here) and 2 o'clock!" ...ummm...I literally just handed you my paper, you didn't even ask me if there is a day of the week or a time that works for me...so my entire life is supposed to just work around that? No...that's not how this works...there needs to be a balance. You need to ask questions and find something that works for both of us. Rude. Also, one of my appointments was cancelled by the office and when I called back to voice concern and attempt to reschedule I was informed that the next available appointment was not until 29 days after my original!!! I'm sorry but if the office cancels an appointment, from a customer service standpoint I feel strongly that the office should do whatever they can to get me in as soon as possible. After explaining (not exaggerating) 5 times that I work mon-fri 8-6 she continued to provide me appointments on weekdays between 8 and 5...finally I asked if there is anything available on the weekends and she was able to find down thing within 2 weeks...why was this not provided as an option before?! Again...rude. In my opinion, it is so important to have great receptionists. They are the beginning, end, and often in between communication to your office. And so far, they have all only ranged between rude and rudest...giving 3 stars because I actually really like my doctor. read more

My husband has been going here for 4 years. He has had nothing but positive experiences so I decided to give them a try. There location is easy to find on Newbury St. When I first walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly front desk. Robyn the office manager, gave me a big smile and took the time to see how I was before having me take a seat. Sonia the assistant took my x-rays and couldn't of been nicer. After I had my x-rays, I then met Helene who is an awesome hygienist. She is personable and warm. During my cleaning and x-rays I was informed by Dr. Millen I had two cavities between my teeth. Danielle at the front desk is really nice and squeezed me in for an appointment within the week to have them filled In the past getting cavities filled, has always been an uncomfortable procedure for me. Dr. Millen is AMAZING! Not once did I feel pain. He has a special technique he uses when injecting Novocaine. Every time he picked up a new tool, he would communicate what he was about to do. He was very gentle with my mouth and really took the extra time so I was comfortable. I highly recommend him! read more

Taking advantage of the $57 new patient special, I saw Dr. Kremer. Five minutes into the appointment, I was panicking, as she told me that I needed a root canal and four fillings. Total cost was going to be around $4000. 4k was a lot of money. I needed a second opinion. I went to see Dr. Costa at Hammond Pond Dental Associates, who said that I did not need the root canal! He filled my tooth in (for $300)and saved me the $3000 for the root canal that Dr. Kremer said I needed. And the other four other fillings Dr. Kremer said I needed? I only needed three fillings. Dr. Costa did not find a cavity on tooth #15. BEWARE. If you take advantage of this $57 new patient special, they will "find" cavities and ask you to do unnecessary procedures, like a root canal for a salvageable tooth. read more

I've been going here since around 2003, and I can't say a negative thing about them. My dentist is Dr. Millen, and he's been nothing but fantastic in everything he's done for me. Wendy is my go-to hygienist. Unlike some other dentists that push unneeded services (night guard for sleeping, "deep cleaning", etc) I've never felt that they are pushy or care about anything but my dental health. read more

I've been going to Newbury Dental for many years. Dr. Heinstein is AMAZING. She is so thorough, kind and efficient. I've never been happier at any dental practice. I've had a lot of work done and I'm so grateful they always make me feel welcomed and are so eager to meet my needs. I highly recommend this practice, especially Dr. Heinstein. read more

Fear of the dentist is completely cliche; sadly, the sound of a drill puts me into a state of abject terror no matter how much I try to relax. Lured in by the word "gentle," I first gave this chain a try last year, and my two routine visits so far have been painless. My wait times have varied from 5 to 15 minutes, with genuine apology in the second case. Both times my teeth have been cleaned by Wendy the hygienist, who is perky, personable, funny, and very attentive. She does tend to give brief lectures on flossing, but I can stomach one of those every six months. As a nice touch, I've always been sent home with a free toothbrush and floss. My one hesitation with this office is that the second visit resulted in a $120 bill, even though routine cleanings are supposed to be covered by my dental insurance (and were the first time around). I'm sure the issue can be resolved with a phone call. read more

I have been going to this place for almost 20 years. They have been consistently professional and excellent in their work. Doctor Millen leads a great team there, and he has handled all my dental problems quite well. I just had a filling replaced, and I didn't feel any pain at all from the drilling. I've also never had a problem with their work where I had to follow up and have something fixed. I recently moved out of the city, but my wife and I still travel back for our appointments, as we cannot imagine going anywhere else. read more
