First off I have to say when I came in I was really wound up from moving unexpectedly from my current place. I made the micro needling/PRP appointment when I had stability and was in a stable/healthy living situation with move out day set for mid May. I was unable to be kind under the circumstances but Zahar decided to take me in anyways after being 25 min late (again due to moving unexpectedly). I explained to her my situation and she was really kind and understanding. I felt instantly at ease and she did everything in her power to speed up the process such as numbing cream and filling out the liability forms. We skipped the PRP and went straight into micro needling which she assured me would offer the same effective results. She consistently checked in to make sure I was doing ok and warned me on area's that would hurt a little more. She also gave extra special attention to the problem area's I pointed out which I really appreciated. Despite me being late she still went over about 15 min and offered VANT facial after for a "chaos" discount (inside joke for us haha). I felt soooo relaxed and happy, the first time in weeks honestly. I am so grateful Sahar took the time to take me in and was so sweet throughout the process. I just hope she forgives me for my initial first interaction. If I move back to this area in the future I will be coming back to see Sahar. read more

There was some sort of misunderstanding because I booked my appointment at 10 AM and they said it was 11 AM. They said they don't open till 11. Someone helped me come in and she said I could start at 10:45. I come in at 10:45. The nurse was so rude and she's said we don't open till 11. I'm like can I just use the restroom? She was so rude. I literally left and waited on the sidewalk she didn't even nicely tell me I could sit in the waiting area. How thoughtless? What kind of business is this? At 10:55 they let me back in. I asked if my procedure can be done by 11:50 because I had another appointment at 12. They said the paperwork takes long and then numbing takes about 20 minutes and she's not comfortable doing PRP for me rushed. "Rushed" by 10 minutes. Nobody sent me the paperwork ahead of time, I didn't even get a confirmation email nor text, they said my email was not in the system but I handled all of this on the phone so whoever noted the appointment didn't do a thorough job. TBH the nurse SAHAR was so rude and condescending. I booked this appointment over a month ago and I have my sisters wedding in two weeks. I wasted my whole morning and I waited ONE hour to be told that I cannot be seen. The process shouldn't take more than 50 minutes, they didn't try to help in any way or make it up to me. I found this place on ClassPass and decided to try a floating therapy session on a Wednesday evening. When I arrived there was this nice man that helped me get situated. He took me to my room and explained everything very thoroughly. The pod has two switches on the side, one for lights and one for music, so you can choose to turn either on or off. There is a headpiece to help your head float, private shower with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. They also provide a makeup wipe to take your makeup off before getting in as well as earplugs and cotton swabs. This was a great way to relax, and I felt very refreshed afterwards. The place is very clean and I look forward to recommending this place to other people that are interested in floating therapy! read more

I've always wondered how it feels to "float" and found this spot. They have other services but we only tried the DreamPod and had a very restful unique experience. You were asked to rinse first and then can go right in. There's a head gear that you can wear so that your head stays afloat even more. You have access to the sound if you want it playing or not. You can also choose to turn off the lights in your Pod. There are ear plugs available for you as well if you feel like listening to your heartbeat. It was a very cool experience! I did the floatation therapy. I really, really enjoyed it. There are optional lights and music, both of which you can turn off if you like. One of the two rooms is too hot for me, but if you typically run hot, it might be closer to your comfort level. During the times I went, I shut off everything inside the room. I could not hear anything when I was in the tank. Some minuscule light still bled through the cover, but not enough to bother me. Will definitely go back when I can. read more

Wow , what an experience! My boyfriend and I tried contrast therapy for the very first time and both loved it. I love coming here! Perfect for pre or post workout routines. I love using their red light therapy and cold plunge and sauna rooms. I had a hard time rating this, so for the sake of both parties, I'll give 3 stars. But please read to understand. I give the interior and front desk service a 1/5. When I walked in, I almost walked right back out. There were towels stacked on the front desk, used dirty towels piled on one of the waiting chairs, and any complimentary amenities were completely inaccessible because of this. The end tables and magazines were dusty, the floor was dirty and had dust bunnies, and I had an overall sense of discomfort knowing that this was a med spa and was so clearly uncared for. The front desk gentleman came to book me in, and his manner felt accusatory when I had said that I thought I booked my appt with a different RN. I also felt that he was underdressed, in sweats and a t shirt. Once we had both settled on who was doing my treatment, he took me to a room to get my blood drawn. The "exam table" was old, rickety, squeaky, and uncomfortable. It was covered with layers of blankets (which I'm sure are never changed), the overhead light in the room wasn't working properly and was creating a mild strobe effect, and again, the walls, shelves, and decor were very dusty. The RN was who completely changed the feeling of my visit. 5/5 Kayla, the RN who did my PRP microneedling, was AMAZING. She was so knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. She had a great bedside manner. She also works at a hospital which helped ease my anxiety as far as cleanliness, handling, and contamination goes (especially with the lack of cleanliness at the med spa). She got my vein on the first try, spoke with me about other facial treatments without trying to upsell, and appeared very professional. She took me to another room to do my treatment THANK GOD. This room was much nicer - again, however, there were just a bunch of blankets draped over a medical recliner, but I will say that this one was much more comfortable. Other than that, the room was clean, she had candles burning, there was a tv with really chill music, and I felt so much more relaxed. During the treatment, she was so thorough, paid extra attention to the places I asked her to, and adjusted the needle size to make sure I was getting the most out of my treatment. I took a little longer than normal because my face was tolerating the needle size really well, so she had to go over several more times with a longer needle. I was so appreciative because she took the time and care to do it well. When I was done she let me know about after care, and I paid. I do wish that they sent you home with like an "after visit summary" with all the post care info (cos there is so much!) but that's whatever. I haven't done any other service there so I can't speak for anything else. But I did book another series with Kayla because she was incredible, aesthetic of the med spa aside. I trusted her with my face and my health and I don't regret it! I'm 48 hrs in and I'm healing beautifully. read more

I am turning 40, and I FaceTime my aunt the other day, who is 10 years older than me and I thought, "oh my gosh, we look like we are the same age, I should go get something done, but I don't even know where to start?" I came here with a Groupon, and of course when I came in, they tried to get me to add another package. I wasn't sure what I was signing up for, but the owner seems nice so I decided what the heck. And I am so glad I did. They have a special package right now that's 50% off, which sounds too good to be true, but it is. This is my 2nd treatment and look how amazing my skin looks. I cannot wait to try other things they have there. It is beautiful place, I can't believe how affordable it is. The technicians spend so much time on me. I love Natalie! Came here because of a promotion on IG for a couples cold plunge and sauna and it was a great deal especially given the privacy and utilities in the dedicated room. Cold plunge is a professional temperature controlled tub and it can fit 2 people if you wanna stick your legs out. Infrared sauna also fits 2 people and has a good view of the tv but also can connect via Bluetooth speaker. And lastly they have a shower area and provided shampoo + soap which was a nice finishing touch, especially for couples. My girl ended up coming back for a facial from a lovely caring woman and she's coming back for a float therapy session. She is constantly forgetting about appointments and canceling appointments. She also promised a lot more than she can actually provide. Second of all, the treatments themselves don't do anything. They left a voicemail at 9am and I was in the middle of a four hour activity so did not have time to check my phone. When I got there they notified me that all appts were cancelled. I would have been fine with the late notice of cancellation but there was only one phone call to me. What really shocked me was when I mentioned I hadn't checked my phone, the receptionist said, oh it happens. And she said that multiple times during our conversation. It wasn't only after I left that I realized she was insinuating it was my fault for not checking my phone and coming. Super turned off by the unprofessionalism....this is not the way respectable businesses work....when it is a same day cancellation, you call...multiple times. Or text. Or email. I purchased a Groupon for 6 sessions. My first two appointments with Lauren was great. I had all my appointments scheduled ahead of time every week on Mondays. My next appointment was on 9/26/22 at 12. I received a message from Hawaii at 10 telling me that Lauren no longer works there and there's no one else that can do the service for me on Mondays. I tried calling back and left messages the next few days, but did not get a call back. It was really frustrating so I asked for a refund; however the owner reached out and said they couldn't give me refund because I purchased through Groupon and Groupon is telling I need to get the refund from them. The owner said they will honor my balance with a skilled technician and that they will be able to fit me in that same week. I decided to give them another try. It was difficult to book an appointment because the front desk can never make the actual appointment it always has to go through Hawaii. I finally was able to get an appointment on 10/20/22 a month after my last appointment. I came in and there was an older lady that didn't speak any English. The person at the front desk had to tell her what service I was there for. I can tell she didn't know what she was doing. When she finished before I walked out the door she hands me a bobby pin that wasn't mine. It just shows me that they don't clean the rooms after each customer. I found this place a few months ago when looking for a gift for my husband for Christmas. I am now a happy customer myself thanks to Tiffany who is terrific manager and one of the esthetician's here. I am in my mid-40's and going through a series of pico laser treatments and other various facial treatments, so the facials really help move the healing process along and clear up the hyperpigmentation faster. I love everything about the facials Tiffany does. The chemical exfoliating masks she used on me both times were gentle enough for my hyper sensitive face. The serum infusions are fabulous and I appreciate the hydrating and soothing approach as she tailors the facial to my needs. SCAM!!! Stay clear of this place! to this woman Hoai aka Hawai Pham aka Hawaii Thanh is a total fraud and scammed me for over $1300! I originally went to her at her husbands barber shop B&B barber shop for a groupon facial and Hawai insisted that i needed picosure laser to treat the Melasma on my face. I should have realized she was a scam artist due to the fact that she never gave me a single receipt and still refuses to give me one. she said I would was buying 6 picosure for my face ($350), 6 full body Venus body sculpting treatments ($200 + $500), scar/ spider vein treatments ($250). After months of avoiding me and her making every excuse imaginable I finally saw her today 3/13/2023 in person at Newport body works to try and get answers to where my money went and to get a printed receipt of any kind. She was angry and rude the whole time and was mad that I dare ask for a receipt ! she gaslit me saying I had services she NEVER gave me and then contradicted herself saying she has no way to track which clients get what treatments because she has too many clients to keep track but then she claimed I had tons of treatments that I in fact never got. So basically she lied saying she could not give me a receipt because she cant be expected to track every client but at the same time she was listing detailed treatments I never got. she then demanded i product a gift certificate to see what I paid for (a gift certificate is not a receipt btw). she also said it was my fault I dont have a receipt because I should have written out my own receipts for the money i gave her which makes no sense at all! I went in last week for my first time to inquire about some fillers and Botox. I met with Hawaii who was very nice and gave me a tour she said she is an aesthetician there. I ended up buying a silver membership which seems to give you more bang for your buck including some micro dermabrasion and facials and a whole menu of services included in the package... I did three of them on my first day and was very pleased everyone was very Nice... The girl Kimberly who does the fillers was not there that day so they booked me for another set of three service on my face for Monday and the injections for Tuesday of the following week which would be tomorrow... I look forward to giving further reviews as this process goes on over 12 weeks of sessions which the package includes. Stay tuned for weekly updates. I will start with four stars after the first visit to leave room for improvement which I'm hoping for because everyone deserves five star treatment Update.. after finishing a few microdermabrasion services which is the standard for the package I went in for the fillers I initially went in for before I had to leave town for a family party. Instead I was told I'd have to either wait 1 more week to order the Juvederm Volbella that I originally ordered and was quoted the discounted price, or take a less expensive XL product and the price would be $85 more. This is a GREAT new day spa location in OC. I've been looking for a location that offers float therapy, contrast therapy and cryo, and I've found it! The location is super clean, the staff and owners as super nice and walk you through the treatments. I spent two hours here my first first, first doing the contrast therapy for 60 min and then the float therapy. They have the float pods (rather than the tanks) which I personally think is a much better experience. Showers in each treatment room with all the needed amenities. The only complaint I had was that the walls are a bit thin, so when doing the float, if people are talking loudly in the hall outside, it can interfere with your experience.
