I'll start w the point that I never make reviews but these guys tried to scam me out of $1000 and…read moremessed up my car so that's my motivation. I had my oil changed by these guys. My car was fine, I have my own mechanic but needed it changed quickly before a road trip. I get my car back, and it sounded like a motorcycle. I have a 1 year old with me and needed to get him home. I call them as soon as I get home and they insist on towing my car back to the shop. They call me at 10am and told me my exhaust fell off. It would be almost $1000 to fix it. The woman on the phone, Debbie tells me "honey, these things just happen" My exhaust and muffler were totally fine, my brother is a mechanic and we had it up on the lift the month prior to fix both swing arms and my rear hubs. Also, the rear exhaust is nowhere near the oil pan so how it just "fell off" is absurd. We threw it up in the lift, my brother said it was a couple bolts and a weld and the exhaust was good as gold. The sound I was hearing was because they loosened my bolts on my engine air filter. My air filter was brand new. No reason to go in there. Was it because I had heels on? How stupid do they think people are? Not cool at all. Stay away from this place.

Got an expensive bill for a transmission and had family and old coworkers all telling me to steer clear of of the shop now since it was changed and that I would regret it, but I went through with it anyways. This resulted in a series of being givens false times, being told I would be kept up to date on the progress only to never be in the loop at all, and the final result being poor work done on the vehicle for an exuberant cost. The delays would have been fine if they stopped promising so much as I only went with them because they said it would be done by a certain point and almost cost my partner and I our jobs as we kept giving out new estimated return times to our workplaces and using up what little vacation time we had to just consistently be told to wait longer and longer. Even more work than a transmission was needed in the end and I was not charged, but it was still nonetheless another delay that took another day from us and while not charged for this fix, it was done poorly and I am at my preferred mechanic finally getting it done correctly. The final result after the days of frustration and excuses given out was a car that finally let us go home, albeit now three times as loud and still showing issues from before that I paid for them to fix that I am now paying another person to fix. I should have trusted all my coworkers next door to the shop and family members when they said to not go here, and will be steering clear like the others from now on.

And very busy...But that's a good thing…read more Ed is the man and I personally will never take my cars to midas or any other crap chain that the staff has no knowledge of how to change oil... But with Ed you get the job done right and for a reasonable amount. I had a oil leak and they fixed it hands down. I had other experiences elsewhere where they changed something expensive and has to go back because was not fixed. I am soo happy that I did not have to buy a new car and it has been 2 years after the fix and still no problems whatsoever. HIGHLY Recommend!!!!

However I was told a few things about my…read morecar that made me lose trust in them such as them informing me my oil was dirty and my "vehicle inspection summary" showing my engine and cabin air filters were dirty. I do my own oil changes religiously every 5k miles and also recently changed both my air filters. To their credit, they did not pressure me to get these done which I appreciated. The biggest thing was that I was not told that the tire warranty was included and got charged the extra $100 when I didn't want it nor was I asked. Luckily, I had looked at the work order and saw the line item and had to ask for the refund since I did not care to have the warranty. When asking for the refund the gentleman inquired "are you sure?". Unfortunately, felt like him pressuring me and felt scummy trying to get me to pay for something I didn't need or want. However, after confirming, the amount was refunded without issue. Overall service was nice and the lady at the front was nice. Service took a bit longer than expected but not a big deal to me since I expected as much. At least the cost came out to what I expected and matched the quote from online (which also did not include the warranty by the way)

As a woman coming into an autobody shop alone, this is really Important. Ray and John are always SO nice and communicate incredibly well. Many if the men are also courteous and professional when bringing me into the shop to explain their reasoning behind any surprise repairs I may have to get. I expect my car to last a long time thanks to the guys at this Midas, and I'll never go anywhere else.
