Me and my boyfriend came here for just the paint and supplies. Bella, the owner, gave us great pointers on how to use the paint. She was very kind! The items were fairly priced. I especially like the couch and tv for me to relax as I wait for my BF to pick out his stuff. The cool thing is that this place has areas for you to put together your gundam and use their tools free of charge! Came here to start my next chapter in life. Wanted to build Gundam models as a hobby. This place has it all to start and they are eager to assist us and help grow your interest in building Gundam models. They had a huge selection and only to grow bigger because they moved to a larger warehouse from their previous location. I picked a few models to start and the value was very reasonable. They had all the tools and supplies you can ask for to build a professional looking model. I came in early in on the move, so I haven't seen all the amenities they have to offer. Now that we're sheltered in place, I've been able to finish my gunpla models much faster than usual, so I needed to stock up on my supply of gunpla. Found their place on yelp, ordered 2 kits on Thursday night. Got an email from them Friday morning saying that due to the COVID situation, orders will be shipped out 3-5 days after being placed. Totally understand considering the circumstances. Then suddenly, I get an email on the same day saying that the kits have been shipped out, and just received them today! And I didn't even pay for express shipping! Excellent service! I can't wait to visit their warehouse after shelter in place is over. read more

I barely got into Gundam until we went to Japan. We were at Amniamni in and was going through the aisles of gunpla with my husband. I did not really understand or have any interest in the mobile suits until I saw Beargguy. This cute brown bear was calling my name to bring him home. Thousands of miles and months later I'm along side my husband building and airbrushing different models. I've gone to about 4-5 different hobby shops that specialize in Gunpla/Gundam and this place takes the cake. Bella and John and super knowledgeable about their trait and very friendly and open to any questions you have about building your own model kit. There are a few spaces in the shop where you can sit down and build. There are also a couple airbrush machines which you can use at no cost except for your own paint and cleaning agent. I love going here. It's probably the place I am the most other than home and work. They also have a good selection of kits and always have something new coming. Each weekend they have a sale that offers a select number of pieces of a particular kit for a reduced price. The marked prices already include tax so that helps when you're calculating how much damage to the wallet you're going to make. read more

I went here with my son and his friend today for the first time. Not their first time but definitely mine. Being a parent of a Gundam fanatic teenager I have learned a bit about the hobby. This place is tiny but packs a big punch. I'm am absolutely impressed by the people that run this place. The engagement and interactions they have with my son and his friend are top notch and very appreciated. They are helpful and friendly and do their best to foster love and creativity of the craft. They don't treat the kids like "lookie-looks" or pay less attention to them because they are kids. They treat them like equals and artists and at times serve as mentors to inspire the youth. This place is an East Bay Area gem! Very grateful to have such a cool store so local and accessible. This store is located in a quiet business district along Hwy 92, but don't let that fool you from what it has to offer. They have a small warehouse with a wide selection of Gunpla model kits. Inventory rotates every few weeks as new shipments come in. There is a small lounge area with a couch if you want to hang out with Gundam series are always playing on the TV. Next to that are few tables/building stations to use if you don't have sufficient space to work on your kits at home. In a separate room, they have 2 air brush paint stations with ventilation set up. You will also find provided supplies available for use, so no need to bring your own. A photo lighting box is placed in the same room so you can snap a few pics to share your work. One side of the lounge wall is filled with paint supplies, tools and aftermarket accessories (such as decal sheets). The other side is consumed by a glass cabinet showcasing an array of completed work so you can get a representation of product scale. These are all built in-house. Bella and John are extremely welcoming and courteous. They answered all the questions I had and not once did I ever feel rushed or pressured. I'm expecting even more improvements as time goes by. Since we just got back from Japan and saw the 1:1 Unicorn while we were there, I personally got my gunpla itch back. While looking for a hobby store, I found out that there's a new shop that opened up in our city. My son and I stopped by the store last week and we had a blast. I will echo all of the review in stating that the owners are great. They are VERY welcoming, friendly and put 0 pressure on you. They will provide you with product information and will basically let you browse their store without any concerns/issues. We ended up purchasing a couple of kits. I've just recently gotten into building model Gundam and been to many stores up and down the Bay Area searching for a good hobby shop to get Gundam and ended up walking into shops that were messy, had poor selections, or had condescending/judgmental staff that made me want to drop the hobby altogether. However, I decided to drop into the store today because I heard good things about it and I can gladly say that this is the best Gundam store in the whole Bay Area. Everything was clean and well organized so finding what I wanted was a breeze. They had a big selection of model kits to choose from and the owners were extremely polite and helpful and more than willing to answer any questions or concerns I had. Whether you're a Gundam newbie or a long time builder, I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a shop that specializes in model Gundams. I'm so happy a dedicated Gundam Hobby shop opened in the area! The interior is clean and tidy and prices are marked. The prices compete with Tatsu Hobby in San Jose; for example bear guys are $8 here and $10 over there. Customer service is excellent and friendly. Kit and modeling accessories are nice and full. They say they'll be getting more stock soon as well. I highly recommend this place as it is now my go to hobby shop. read more

The people there were super nice, they helped me find exactly what I was looking for and the pricing was very good for everything, especially a lot of the p-bandai kits. They have an area for building your kits, and a whole separate room to airbrush in too. Theres a wall dedicated to displaying custom kits so you can get some inspiration. Great place to buy gunpla. Visited multiple times already, at first their selection was somewhat small but recently their inventory is expanding! The employees their are very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend checking it out. This is hands down one of the best gundam hobby stores. All the Gundams I have displayed come from gundam labs hobby. They have a very fine selection of models. They have high grade all the way to perfect grade. They even have tools, decals, stickers, and there are gundams on display. One of the best things is that you could even build your gundam there! Been looking for a place that sells Gunpla. The people there are very friendly and helpful especially if you are a beginner or wanting to learn some techniques to better your models. The only down side for ME is that I have to drive close to an hour to get there.
