We had dinner in North Beach and post dinner we wanted to grab a round of drinks and we stumbled upon this bar. What drew us in was the claw machine up front which we eagerly spent $5 trying to get something and a free drink special. We got a round of shots and we then saw the skee ball and basketball machines. So we played for a bit, they have TVs, a full bar, and even serve Mexican food that looked good! You can order on the kiosk and there's plenty of space. It's tough to find parking in this area and busy streets. You can circle around and see if you're lucky or you can find a 24 hour parking lot across the police station on Vallejo street which isn't too far of a walk. Would def recommend this bar before or after dinner or golden boy pizza while you're in North Beach!

We used to live in North Beach and came to Pete's all the time. Bummed they're gone -- and REALLY bummed that Chubby Noodle is gone (they served food from Chubby Noodle at Pete's). We came to this location for many birthdays and games. Happy to see that another bar took its place. Next Door's got a great vibe! They tore down a lot of the seating (booths) against the wall and now have more high tables, a photo booth, and arcade games. Lots of plants and nice decor. They have a really long bar and multiple TVs including a giant one. It was pretty packed because of the Niners-Seahawks game, but we were able to get stools from outside to sit at the bar. We ordered a Mexican coke and two beers. While we didn't order food, there are options for starters, tacos, and a brunch menu on Sat and Sun from 11-1. They do a great job of turning on music whenever there are ads and the volume on the game when it's back on. They have water for you to get yourself so refill to your heart's desire! We'll be back to try the food. Grab a pager from Sotto Mare next door (see what I did there?) and get the "best damn Cioppino in SF" once you've had a few drinks at Next Door!

Newest addition to North Beach! I've stopped by Next Door about 3 times since it's opened and so happy this place opened. Great atmosphere here and people really seem to enjoy the vibe of the place. The mexican food in the back is also pretty good! Tried the birria tacos and they were pretty good! Service was pretty quick as well! I'll definitely keep coming back here especially to catch a game! :)

First time coming to this place with my partner and we really enjoyed our time here. The area itself is very clean and pretty spacious with a clean and accessible bathroom. The drinks are super yummy and strong, definitely getting your moneys worth! I quickly just want to shout out the bartender that was working last night Weds 4/29, not only was his service amazing from the interaction to the drinks he was making. Shame I didn't grab his name but ultimately I forgot my phone on top of the PacMan machine & had to take a Lyft back to look for it but sure enough the bartender had seen it and saved it for me. I can't express my gratitude enough. Thank you so much for the great experience, can't wait to come back!

Fantastic tacos, carnitas compete with farolito, Ashley and izzy were great bar tenders, cheap happy hour, and games!

Came here with my husband for the first time today - cool environment, friendly staff, good drinks. Will be back!

Super Nachos (carnitas) and Carne Asada Fries. 2 margaritas.

Decided to try Next Door to start a night out, and it was amazing! We were taken care of by Ashley who made incredible drinks and constantly made sure we had everything we need. Not to mention the food was DELICIOUS and PLENTIFUL!! Also really enjoyed their photo booth, basketball hoops and even music options. Big enough to bring a group and small enough to just sit at the bar and enjoy some small talk. Would come back 100%

Just saw the bar back walk outside with cups and dump the ice and contents on the sidewalk. Do that inside the bar how trashy.

I've encountered several chill bartenders, others not so much. Same goes for the security at the entrance. Overall, Emporium is a fun venue to check out if you are in the area.

The security guy working on Friday night of Aug 14, 2026 literally went above and beyond to help us look for my friend's ring. He even climbed onto the game and also crawled underneath as well. Super sweet guy! Before we left, we also saw him come back with extra tokens to give to the people who got their game interrupted by him. Luckily we eventually found her ring, but I definitely wanted to leave a review to highlight his efforts. Additionally, I appreciate the free cold water that they provide & also the clean restrooms and no cover fee. It also wasn't overpriced for the arcade games & they also had some free board games lying around as well.

It didn't feel crowded on a Saturday afternoon, even with a handful of visitors in and out while we were there. The old mini Tetris arcade game ate my 50 cents. But the plethora of pinball machines we played were all in working order. This included Stranger Things, Alien, Fish Tales, Indiana Jones, Theatre of Magic, Beetlejuice, Monster Bash, and Lord of the Rings. Most costed 75 cents or a dollar to play (3 balls). And there was at least one change machine available on site. I also enjoyed playing nba hoops. Skipped the skeeball since it only accepts bills (not quarters). The place also offers shirts for sale, a pool table in the back, and vending machines for snacks and drinks. Parking sucks around here, so keep that in mind if planning to stop by. Each pinball has 3 balls per play which is a lot if you can keep the ball in play. It's fun to walk around the cute arcade spot and find super old school games to try out. They even have some newer games like Mario kart, and this awesome Pokémon pinball machine which I thought was super fun where you try to capture and fight Pokémon! I had $5 and was there for a good minute playing a bunch of games, it really doesn't cost much!
