I had issues trying to set my laptop back to factory. My laptop kept on doing this never ending looping and had problems trying to fully recover. So I bought it to Martin and made it simple explaining what some of the issues could be. He suggested to wipe the laptop clean and it would take two days. To his word, it took two days and called me in the AM on the second day saying my computer was ready. Overall, I'm not that tech savvy when it comes to reimaging a computer and there was no way I would have figured it out quick enough. Found out I was ripped off on my new computer (upgrade undisclosed before purchase). With a voided warranty, no third party seller support, or amazon support, my only choice was to try to repair the computer I already paid 1700 for, They helped me square everything away And get my computer running again. I walked in last week with a charging issue on my laptop, and instead of taking the machine and making a simple repair, making $200 in the process (which I probably would have paid happily), they dignosed the problem for me right at the front counter and recommended a $30 buy from Amazon and a simple self-repair. I broke off my headphone jack in my laptop and was looking for someone that could help me and do the repair. I took my laptop to Martin to have him look at it. He explained to me what he would need do to fix the problem, and he gave me another alternative that I could do in order to be able to use the headphone again. Not only are they experienced and highly skilled, but they seem to have "written the book on ethics and integrity." For a senior citizen like me, when needing repairs to appliances, or highly specialized tools such as our computers, I'm always concerned that it would be easy to take advantage of my ignorance , and relative lack of technical /mechanical ability. Came in to swap out a graphic card with no notice on a Saturday with no notice... Amazing customer service that took me back to the good ol days when we mainly dealt with "mom and pop" shops. As a true father and son operation I can say that this duo went above and beyond my expectations. You may pay a few extra dollars for some services compared to farmed out corporate operations, but you get what you pay for. I have taken my computer everywhere, Best Buy, frys, friends etc. My friends tried to fix it. Best Buy and frys had me buy components that I later found out I didn't need. None of them were able to fix my computer. It's been sitting in my living room almost 4 years, every time I turned it on it would freeze or blue screen. Best computer wizards in Ventura! Attentive, prompt, reasonably priced, and experts at their work! The battery in my Macbook was warped super bad (like a balloon) and they really had to give it some TLC to remove it and not crack the keyboard. Not only were they able to successfully replace the battery, they were able to flatten the body and basically restore it to factory fresh. I had been trying for months to figure out how to access my wireless keyboard, which i had used in the past, and thought i must have pressed a key disabbling it. It was driving me crazy ! I took my Surface Go 2 in to try and install some software. When I attempted to install it at home it would crash the tablet. I brought it in there and they speculated that it could have been an issue with the internet at my house and not the tablet, so they let me connect to their internet and sure enough it worked! Then there were issues with storage on the Surface Go 2 and they walked me through how to troubleshoot the storage issues. They were very nice and patient. Would highly recommend. Super rad and nice. They are incredibly rude and petty. I basically had a full argument with the guys over $5. Their attitude is absolutely disgusting and they think it's okay to talk down to women. Sorry but I am a single, hard working mother and they said they didn't care and to spare them from my sob story. I had an issue with my cable provider and internet service. My modem and wireless router were not connecting after I upgraded my computer to Windows 10. The problem was intermittent then I could not connect at all. Spoke to Martin. He listened and gave me a few alternatives to try myself before investing in a service call. Oh my gosh, these guys are the greatest!! I never write reviews for businesses, but felt I had to after the amazing service I got! If you're on a budget and want to honestly know all your options for getting your computer fixed, definitely go to these guys. Martin explained what was likely wrong with my computer and exactly what I needed to do to avoid spending hundreds of dollars retrieving data from a dead hard drive. After that, he spent all the time it took to explain what had to happen next to put in a new hard drive and get my computer up and running, including Computer Idiot's rates, and how I could do it all on my own if I chose. I ended up having them install my new hard drive, then installing Windows, with all the updates and drivers on my own to save the money, which I felt confident about after Martin explained the whole process to me and answered my questions. Honestly, I feel like I didn't give them enough business for all the help they gave me, so please give them your business, haha! Oh, and my daughter's computer started acting up during this process, and Martin looked at it and let me know that I'll likely just need to reinstall Windows, just like I did on mine, enabling me to do another repair at no cost.
