My laptop fans were completely f-ed up with dust and stuff so I was trying to request a quote from all the local places, Rodrigo quoted me for less than 100$ unlike more than half of the other places in the area trying to ask for like 200-250$ base price for only a CLEANING by the way (legit had me actually considering if I had to do it myself at the risk of causing damage to my expensive components). Not only that, but I could immediately tell that Rodrigo is super passionate about this work as well. He answered all of my questions + even gave suggestions and recommendations for computer related stuff when requested. While my laptop was getting cleaned, he let me know about all the good food places within walking distance, so I didn't have to drive away or awkwardly sit around. Rodrigo also helped to take before and after pictures, since my friends were all curious to see the difference since my fans were really just that messed up at the time. By the time it was ready to be picked up, he had given my old keyboard and screen a very nice courtesy wipe-down and also helped to make sure everything was working well. My cat gave my laptop a long sniff-test after I got back home without making a disgusted face or running away, so I guess I can say this place is even cat-approved. This also might seem like a bare minimum thing but I never once felt patronized at all while talking to Rodrigo, which has happened when I was looking for help at even big-chain places like Best Buy in the past. Overall, 10/10 experience, enough to make me finally write a review on this platform after like 9 years of using it and moving around multiple cities. It's an older laptop, but it's a powerhouse, and I really didn't want to see it go. To be honest, I originally thought it was just a battery issue. After their inspection, I found out the motherboard and pretty much everything else was fried. I'm not going to lie, I was a little nervous knowing the follow-up conversation about next steps was coming. But Alex, one of the people who runs the shop, was not only upfront and honest, but took the time to explain everything to me and walk me through the best options. It never felt like a sales pitch. He genuinely seemed like he had my best interests in mind, and based on my past experiences, that's pretty rare to find. They ended up replacing my motherboard and even let me keep the old one. On top of that, they went out of their way to clean and repair two buttons on my keyboard that I didn't even ask them to fix. I thought that was incredibly kind and really says a lot about the level of care they put into their work. Value was definitely there, fair, and worth it. He was able to diagnose my board, along with a friends board and gave a good estimate and an approximate pickup date.
