Finally tried this place out for lunch. It's been on my list for awhile as I usually just come to this place for a milkshake and always mean to try some of their food. First off, this place is plant based, so no animal products here, so their milkshakes aren't made with milk but with either a soy or coconut base. On this recent visit I learned you can even mix the two now. I really like the milkshakes here, my go to is the coffee or the mocha Joe (I think it's called). I always feel a little better/healthier thinking that I'm using dairy alternatives...but idk how much healthier it actually is lol. So for this visit, I ordered the bbq blue burger and it was ok for me. The burger itself was pretty filling but the flavors weren't for me. The combo of bbq sauce and a blue cheese style sauce wasn't for my liking and I wasn't the biggest fan of the patty. Their other burgers that did look appealing, so next time I'll try those. On thia order I also got a small size tater tot. These were really delicious since they had the right amount of crispiness for me. I will say though, for the price I wish I got a little more in the serving. Overall, I find this place to be pretty good. The milkshakes, and now, tater tots would be my go to here. Following the suggestions from Yelp Concord comfort food week we came here for dinner with the kids. I didn't mention it was vegan and only my daughter who is vegetarian knew. I was taken care of by the Operations manager and she took our order and told me to let her know if we needed anything. I thought it was a bigger restaurant but actually is inside the new Whole Foods. Inside seating is very limited but there are lots of tables outside that is fine when its summer not now. They have draft beer and some wine as well as other natural drinks. I had a glass of cabernet. The classic burger is a but on the small size and I think good for kids or small appetites. The animal Is just that a huge 2 patty 3 bread hamburger with melted cheese. The sweet potato fries and tater tots where great as well as the lightly seasoned fried and I love that you can get them fried or baked. Cool Next the shakes are made from coconut milk or soy and they were super thick and sweet. Everyone loved them. No complaints! Came in for lunch on a weekday was not terribly crowded and was able to order quickly. The location (inside Whole Foods 365) was a little odd but they had lots of outdoor dining. They were also able to text me when my order was ready so that's a nice convenience. I order the All-American burger with Swiss cheese, and am overall really happy with the overall taste & look. I was not a huge fan of the eggless mayo and the bun left some things to be desired but my "plant based" meat (burger & bacon) were both really quite good! Now I'm a meat & burger lover so I'd be honest if I didn't care for it but honestly it was quite good. I would recommend getting some tots with your order though as I was still hungry and snacked on my coworkers after I had finished my entire burger. Overall, decent food, not overly priced, quick service and an was a decent rival to most burger spots in town. They also have a Happy Hour with Beer & Cider on tap so I will most certainly be back to try that! read more

I really liked this place! I didn't realize it was connected to Whole Foods till I got there. The menu is different, meant to be a healthier burger place option which is definitely expected when next to Whole Foods. I tried the classic burger with cheddar style cheese, a side of sweet potato fries, and a cookies n cream shake with I believe soy in it. I've actually never had a milkshake with soy in it but it was good! Most of the staff was really nice. The menus are kinda awkward to look at since they're so high up. Lots of menu choices! So I'd definitely love to come back and try something else. It is a little expensive for a burger but again, kinda expected when you're affiliated with While Foods. For a burger, fries, and shake expect to pay at least &20-$25. Burgers are actually pretty small but still a good size. They're ketchup is pretty good. Not s fan of the mystery mayo but then again I don't like mayo in general so I went without it on my burger although they still gave it to me as a slide Seating is rather compact but it was pretty vacant when I was there. EVERYTHING HERE IS VEGAN!! (Scroll to bottom if you too lazy to read all the details) Ok for starters, it's located inside of Whole Foods. The menu is pretty nicely sized, good variety of options and customizations, like most animal product based burger places. Service is also soooo nice, a great plus for a vegan noob like On to the food itself, I ordered a customized classic burger which I like my burgers pretty simple, bun, patty, cheese, ketchup. I decided to be a little fancy and keep their tempeh bacon in. And here's where I'll write all the bad. Spoiler: DONT GET THE BACON. I feel bad when I leave mean reviews but really, it did not look good, taste good, or 'feel' good. I would describe the smell and texture to be EXACTLY like the beggin strip dog treats I give to my pug. Nothing like real bacon. Just skip. Don't. Do. It. Another complaint I have is that they don't toast the bun enough. It is as soft. But cold. Like a pulled out of the fridge and lazily threw on the pan for a sec, cold. But here's the good, nice stuff. The cheese is real cheesy. Like if you didn't tell me this was vegan, I wouldn't know the difference. But I'm only gonna speak for the cheddar, they have a Swiss option but I didn't try it. The cheese was really what pulled everything together because without it, The burger would be kinda dry. The "meat" patty was surprisingly tasty, held up well, no complaints really. You could definitely tell it's vegan but I'm not saying that as a bad thing. Went in here and order a simple burger with just ketchup and cheese (actually said "a burger with just ketchup and cheese." This is important information) and the chicken n cheese special with no pepper jack, tots, and a milkshake. We were given a burger with everything on it and the chicken n cheese had pepper jack. We brought it the staffs attention and were told "we werent specific and had to specify no tomato or pickles or lettuce." (See important information.) Ok whatever. So they remake the food and the burger comes back with a soggy bun and visible tomato seeds on patty still, which tells me they just removed the stuff instead of remaking it. And the chicken and cheese just tasted like a goopy mess, like if canned cheese had manifested itself on my plate. So, we did ask for a refund for everything, except the shake. Well, color me impressed! This is a vegan burger joint with truly satisfying burgers, fries, tots, and shakes. I had the all American burger, which features a beef-like patty, tempeh "bacon" slices, and your choice of faux cheese (I chose American). The burger was delicious, had a great mouth feel, and even had a hint of smokiness from the tempeh bacon. The fries are the crinkle cut variety, and they're fried very crispy, unlike the wimpier crinkle cut fries at Shake Shack. The tots are also fried to a hard crisp, and they are fantastic. I tried the chocolate and strawberry shakes using 1/2 soy and 1/2 coconut soft serve. Both were excellent. In short, if you want to get a burger fix without any animal products, this is the place. In search of a healthy meal available via online ordering I wound up here. I decided to go with the spicy bean burger, an order of fried tots, and a ginger apple lemonade. I took one bite of the burger and I was SOLD. It was very well-seasoned and it tasted delicious. It was super filling so I only finished about 3/4 of it. Only complaint is there weren't enough jalapeños on my burger. The tots were also really good. The serving is huge (literally spilling over). I got the special seasoning on the side since I knew it would probably salt based. This ended up being a good decision because salty it was. Ginger apple lemonade was also surprisingly good. It tasted like a non-carbonated, more tasty version of kombucha. I'm perfectly full, satisfied, and not stuffed. So glad to have a nearby vegan restaurant! I love the signature burger! I have tried the Special Sauce and my non-vegan husband had the Classic before, but we both agree that the garlic mayo sauce and texture of this patty is the best! I don't even like mushrooms, but you can't taste them! The tator tots bring back childhood memories and the sweet potato fries are always a classic. I also tried the cookies and cream and chocolate milkshake with soy, and I did favor the chocolate a bit more. However, if you're going to splurge on a milkshake, get it with the coconut base instead of soy, and share the calories with someone because it's totally worth it! There is also a secret dessert menu of brownies, cookies and apparently sundaes. I'm not sure why these are not on the actual menu anywhere, which is why I knocked off a star. Regardless, I love the food and options to save on calories by opting for baked vs fried, sauce vs no sauce, etc. I also don't feel as weighed down as eating at Veggie Grill since these burgers are made from grains, beans and vegetables vs a type of tofu. I was super excited to try Next Level. After long day of shopping my daughter and I decided to head over and get a bite. We were a little annoyed that the indoor seating wasn't open. It was rainy and cold so we had to eat in the car. I tried the Thanksgiving chicken sandwich because it looked amazing on the advertisement. There was more stuffing than anything and just a tiny bit of cranberry sauce. It was pretty dry despite the "gravy" on the bottom of the sandwich. I was disappointed for sure. My daughter got the Crispy Chik'n Bacon Cob salad. She had to go back in for dressing because they forgot it. But she loved the salad, and I had a few bites and thought it was pretty good. We also ordered the chili chz style fries. First of all, they weren't fries they were tater tots (fine, we like those too just not what we ordered). The toppings were minimal and not enough to give us saucy bites throughout so once we got through the top layer we were left with dry tater tots. Disappointing. We regretted not trying a shake. I may give the place another shot because being a vegetarian leaves me limited options especially for comfort fast food options. I'll post again if we have better food next time! read more

Thought there was an issue with charged amount & just got off the phone with manager Darwin (FTW)! We figured out everything and all was fine & on the level. Just note using CC vs Debit card may make you see a charge "Pending" that is a few above what the actual total is. Once pending stage is over, it charges exact amount. It can be confusing but a lot of companies do that. Still, mngr Darwin was great (they get 5 stars just for dealing with me over the phone), burger was awesome and would happily go there again if up that way. read more

When you stand at the counter in front of the worker to pick up, but someone else comes to the ordering register after you get there, then gets served and greeted at all, it makes you wonder why that is. I was standing at the pick up area for a good minute, social distancing, then decided to stand between registers to stay close to the pick up area. It's not labeled where pick up is, but has usually been on the right side. Guess I had to pick up at the ordering register that I never picked up at before? I received no apology. No words to me at all even after I said thank you. On top of that, the food at this place is very inconsistent with how they prepare the food. Today was good. Generally overpriced and they often forget the shakes. I feel really bad giving two stars, but it is mainly based on the service and the food itself. The idea of serving cruelty-free, organic, 100% plant-based food is an excellent one, and that alone wins five stars in my book. It was a huge letdown that the food was served well-below their mission standard. We arrived here about a little more than an hour before closing, and there were only a couple other customers around, so not busy at all. The food (two burgers and two sides) took about 15 minutes to arrive. We could clearly see our burgers sitting under the burners for at least 5 minutes until the sides arrived. For a "fast food" place that was not busy, that was awfully slow. The workers appeared more interested in chit-chatting among themselves and overall blasé. Just a warning, the portions are definitely small, including the sides. Overpriced for sure. My burger was lukewarm at best. The top bun was cold, and had condensation droplets in the middle of it like it came out of the fridge and sat around at room temperature for a few minutes. The burger patty, which was their quinoa one, was bland and overly-salty. The lettuce was bedraggled-looking and drenched with cold water, so it made some of the patty slightly mushy and the bottom bun get the same consistency. Biting into something cold, somewhat warm, then cold and watery was pretty sad. It was difficult to figure out any flavors in the burger, as everything tasted the same. My husband was very disappointed with his burger to the point he regretted even trying this place. The sides were laughable. The regular fries were either cold, tasted faintly like stale sweet potato, or semi-warm. The tater tots were warm, but very greasy, and inconsistently cooked (some were super crispy, and the others were a bit mushier). I believe this company needs to revamp and revise their offerings, justify their prices to portion sizes, and hire staff members that are a bit more aware that their is life outside of their inner circle. read more

NLB's app is a breeze to use, and I love that I was able to personalize my milkshake down to whether I wanted it soy milk- or coconut milk-based (or both!). I ordered a small mint chip shake with a coconut base, and it totally hit the spot on a warm day. My partner got an order of sweet potato fries, and those were really tasty too. Pickup was extremely easy. I was nervous about the possibility of walking into a busy Whole Foods, but NLB has its own entrance. The staff members were super friendly and attentive, and my order was ready on time. I was in a "treat yourself!" mood when I placed my order on the app and tried not to think too hard about prices. While both my shake and the sweet potato fries were delicious, I can't really seeing myself going here regularly--or ordering a full meal--when both of these items cost over $6 each. read more

I ordered the fries with the special sauce which wasn't very good in my opinion. The sauce taste like super sour thousand island dressing to me. I also ordered their salted caramel shake, which I didn't get until AFTER I was done eating. It was pretty disappointing, it was super sweet and tasted kind if chalky. In total i spent about $30. I am transitioning to a more plant based diet and this place makes it easy. The signature burger is my favorite. It is super flavorful and I often have cravings for it. You can throw avocado on almost anything and I will be a fan. Just watch out because sometimes the burger can get a bit messy. I pair it with classic fries or sweet potato fries which you can choose to have baked or fried. I have had the All-American burger as well, but it was just all right. This place is located inside the Whole Foods 365 market. If you decide to grab a bite to eat while grocery shopping I suggest before you stand in line to pay for you groceries, you put in your order for the food. The food does take some time to prepare. First thing to note is that I am not a Vegan or Vegetarian. I like my meat. But I definitely try to eat less of it for my health. If you aren't restricted dietarily, aren't concerned about meat intake, or otherwise don't choose to eat vegetarian or vegan, there's likely little draw to chow down on a meatless burger if what you're craving is grilled beef. In my opinion, it's impossible for a meatless burger to achieve a taste identical to beef. But when your meatless burger tastes this good, and is as satisfying to eat as one made from beef? I will gladly switch one out for the other. The primary success of next level burger is getting the right mix of protein, fats, and great tasting ingredients to deliver what to me is a meal just as satisfying as a hot, greasy cheeseburger. The regular cheeseburger​ at Next Level Burge is so exactly like a meat burger it was just delicious! I LOVE the taste of animal meat - but I refuse to eat an animal anymore - I don't want any rotting flesh in my body and I hate that we are still a society that makes killing animals, any animal okay anymore, ESPECIALLY when we have places like these that make a burger that tastes the EXACT SAME and even better! This Next Level Burger is attached to a Whole Foods 365 so you can eat before or after shopping. Their menu offers everything except breakfast items as some of the other locations. I love that the menu is 100% Vegan! The chili cheese fried are my absolute favorite I can eat just them and a Milkshake and be perfectly happy! When I am in the mood for a burger my go to is the All American, sadly there are no Next Level Burgers in Arizona so whenever I am near a location I try to try different options so that I can become more familiar with the menu.
