If I could give 0 stars, I would. I ordered a one-way combo, but I never received the fountain drink that was supposed to come with it. The lady said the free drink does not go with Uber pick-up which I'm not an Uber driver by the way. I placed the order through the Kinder's app. It even says it comes with: One meat of your choice served with BBQ beans, potato salad (or choose from other sides) and "a medium fountain drink". It was disappointing to realize part of my order was missing, especially after paying $16.95 for the combo. I expected better attention to detail and customer service. Hopefully they'll do a better job of making sure orders are complete in the future and keeping their promise as what is included in the combo deal. I probably will never go back. I was in there a few weeks ago and I had the best brisket I have ever had it was sliced and very juicy in the pan with the juice when I was eating it it was unbelievable then I went back this week and the same brisket was not sliced and it was very dry like it had been cooked the day before and held over to this day I am worried about visiting here again in the future that I might get the same brisket that was very dry and I didn't even finish it I wish I could get the original brisket the first time I went there it was amazing 10 out of 10 I'll keep my fingers crossed. read more

I will always get my Cobb salad here because it's always packed with so much flavor. It comes with a whole chicken breast, blue cheese crumbles, bacon, tomato, avocado, egg and it's packed!! I asked them to add a little more egg and blue cheese crumbles and let me tell you.... They hooked it up! So when we decided to move and realized there is no Kinders by our new home, we had to come here for one last bite. This time we got his beloved ribeye sandwich and a hot link. We called it in on the phone for pick up, and the folks had it ready in 10 minutes and it was a smooth process. The staff was very friendly and this Kinder's in Martinez has a little more variety like smoked brisket and prime rib sandwich ( they were out of)than my local Kinder's. It's in a nice area in Martinez, and has ample of parking. This is my go-to spot for BBQ in Martinez and I can head over to Dutch Bros after on my way home. One of the girls seemed to be actively/purposely avoiding my order. I even heard one of the others ask her if she was ever going to help, and she just turned her back. It's not as though the place was slammed. I was the only one standing in the order zone for the entire duration prior to finally being assisted. TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES/DEMAND THEY AT LEAST DO THE BASELINE MINIMUM! A simple "We'll be with you in a moment" would've been plenty to keep me from starting to boil. They came off disrespectful. In addition, a standard deli sandwich with chips and a drink rang up to nearly $23! That's brutal, especially given that it was a completely mediocre sandwich. Safeway (not exactly a sandwich mecca) builds more flavorful sandos, and that entire combo would've rung up to half of what Kinder's charged. I've officially spent my last dime at this establishment.
