While I did have materials on hand, he suggested they wouldn't be as sufficient in the long term, so I genuinely appreciated he came to inspect & then went to purchase any additional materials based on the consultation. ...and from there, I let him do his art! The entirety wasn't a big ask- 3 smaller tasks of replacing a closet dowel hanger, placing patio string lights & mounting a tapestry quilt. The biggest caveat of this was the kitchen pantry storage cabinet American Furniture delivered, needing assembly. I already knew this would not be possible for me to maneuver, solo. And, I am SO glad I decided to seek a professional to construct this because it took him a good minute! Even better, he went above & beyond to anchor this piece to the wall, seeing it was not fully sturdy due to the tile flooring pattern. He communicated arrival ahead. Had literally ALL of the supplies & materials needed on hand outside of what needed to be included in the consult. He worked independently & extremely quiet (aside from the necessary power tools)- I barely noticed! ...and absolutely acknowledged my senior kitty who curiously wanted to "supervise". The job did take a bit longer than anticipated, but that was due to the beast of pantry cabinet assembly. I am SO happy with the services & I feel like the hourly rate/pricing is definitely on par for the quality & expertise provided. And, he took diligence to haul any scraps/waste out to the dumpster- leaving literally no trace behind. It was very convenient paying via Zelle transfer. Cash is also accepted, cards have a 3% fee. Last Friday morning I was working on a project in my backyard, staring at the horribly peeling…read morepaint on m back windows. We had the house painted by a friend of a friend in early 2020, and paint was peeling in multiple areas - I hated it, but we were on the fence about having it painted again so soon. As I sat there, my dogs let me know someone was the front door. Very unlike me, I actually answered the door and that's how I met Bill. He was driving by, noticed the peeling paint, and wanted to give them a chance. We walked the front of the house, he explained what they did, and gave me a fair price. I told him I wanted to talk with my husband and I'd get back to him. My husband called him that evening and the next day he and his Uncle came back by. We hadn't walked the back, which was in worse shape than the front, so we did that - the price went up less than I expected, and, after looking at color samples, we signed the contract. Like another reviewer, I also had second thoughts on the body color, and we called back on Sunday expecting to leave a message. Bill promptly called back and we made the change. Bill communicated well throughout, and called me on Tuesday to come walk the property with his foreman, Michael. They discussed with me all the prep work they would do, and Wednesday morning at first daylight, Michael and his helper were on site. I was super impressed with the extensive amount of prep work that was done - not only taping and covering, but deep cleaning, patching, etc. It was hours before they began painting and I really appreciated the attention they paid to make sure this paint job would last a lot more than four years. Michael and his crew came back today, sprayed the body paint, touched up the trim where needed, added a couple of extra things we noticed after they started painting, and then did a fantastic job of cleaning up. It's Thursday afternoon and if it wasn't currently 104 degrees outside, I'd be outside staring at my freshly facelifted home. Five stars and lots of kudos to Bill, Michael, and the rest of the crew for a job well done!!!
