    Their salesmen were very unprofessional when I called. Cars are priced way above market listings.

    Was trying to extend my car rental but they couldn't find me in the system. This location does not…read moreuse updated credit card terminal. They still need to swipe your card which caused my card to decline 3 times. Very poor management when the manager told me to email him in case I need to extend my vehicle. He still couldn't extend it on his end saying because of the whole fraud situation. They were all about money and not to care about the customer's well being. Now I am wondering what's gonna happen when not extending my vehicle.

After 10 days the brakes started grinding so I stopped in at the Lynn location not wanting to damage or be blamed for any damage or have the brakes lock up while driving, that said, this was a 2025 yr car... again the staff person very nice, but sent me to get brakes fixed, and then was told it also needed two front tires as they were bald... Why IS IT MY responsibility to have their car fixed on my time??? I will never ever rent a car from them again. They are sending out unsafe cars on the road. Please look at and verify your vehicle before driving off, which one should not have too, but... And forget about trying to speak to a live person on the phone they are so unhelpful. I still have a hold on my account for double than the stated amount and no one is willing to help at so called customer service. They also rent under Dollar, and Thrifty renter beware! Would give ZERO stars if they let me

    Ok, I know...says it's been 11 years...well there were a couple rentals I did here that I didn't…read morecheck in. The SHAME! Anyways, on to the review. Same problem as the last review, rent from the airport, $$$$$$$, rent from here, $$. Reserved a full size car and all they had was a minivan when I arrived, worked for me. One person shop looked like when I was there. Easy return once I was done with the minivan and saved lots over getting it at the airport. Sadly with Sears closing...this Avis/Budget location may be closing too. I hope they find someplace else to rent from.

I know this because I recognize the voice. Anyways I call and someone says something very quickly. I thought it was just a standard greeting and started talking but then I was hit with the hold music. So I assumed it was someone saying please hold on and I'll get back to you in a few minutes or something. I wait for 15 to 20 minutes and no one returns, just the same background waiting music. I thought they were busy or something so I said I'll just go. Grabbed an uber and went there. I arrived to a sign on the door saying they'll be back at 1215 (my pickup was at 11) and to call a number posted on the flyer. I called and spoke to the same guy, again matching the voices. I said I was here for a pickup at 11 and he sounds surprised. I said I made an online reservation and was supposed to pick up at 11ish. He says I should have called because they took away most of their cars last week and he has no cars available. And then reiterated saying I should have called. I was so pissed off I didnt mention that I did call earlier but was put on hold for 20 minutes, instead just saying I paid to get an uber here and now I have to pay for one back? He just says yeah well, next time ca- I hung up before he finished. Yeah buddy, I did call but you put me on hold for a long time, I wasnt even sure i was on hold because you blabbed some incoherent words before the music started playing. How god damn annoying. I spent 30 dollars just getting an uber there and then to the next place to get a rental. No wonder they took the vehicles from here, if a dumbass like him is working here then business must be suffering. Avoid like the plague.
