Fantastic scones! They are made from scratch with fresh fruit, light and even vegan. Great coffee too!

The staff was so sweet even when it was so busy on a Saturday morning! They were very attentive and accommodating with all the modifications I made on my sandwich! The vibes inside and in their patio are amazing! We sat outside because it was grounded but even then the staff made sure to check on us! Overall great place with friendly staff, amazing food, drinks, bakery items and most importantly great ambiance!

I had the pick two, which was a half a sandwich (grilled cheese) with a half salad (kale Caesar). The salad was so good! Fresh, crisp and lightly dressed. However, the grilled cheese was pretty sad. I opened it up and there was hardly any cheese. It was just like eating two pieces of grilled bread. They need to improve on that for sure. I also had their 12oz wildflower latte which was very tasty, but served lukewarm and not hot. If the milk is not steamed, it will bring down the temperature of the coffee. I like my specialty coffees served hot. I do have to say every staff member we came in contact with was friendly. They seemed happy and were there to help and answer questions. You place your order at the counter, and you receive a number which you display at your table. There are two dining areas with tables and a few booths to dine at next to where you place your order. Members of the staff bring your order to the table. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks and food. Even with the sad grilled cheese sandwich which was disappointing and the lukewarm latte, I would definitely go back to Blackberry Market again to try other items on their menu. I'll pass on the grilled cheese, though.

Heading further in, you'll find the ordering counter, and you can even catch a glimpse of coffee beans being roasted, which adds a nice touch to the atmosphere. They offer both a seasonal menu and a straightforward regular menu, making it easy to find something you like. Overall, the environment felt calm and laid-back. The staff were more on the quiet side personally, I'm used to more outgoing baristas, but that's just a matter of preference.

The building looks like it was converted from a church, and the back seating area has some high stained glass windows. In the middle of the cafe is a narrow hallway/corridor where the supply closet and the single stall bathroom is, so it segments the cafe into two areas, connected by this hallway in the center. The design feels very clearly like a remnant of an old historic building, and a brick alleyway runs along one side. In the space/room where you order (walking through the seating area and through the hallway), it opens up with huge windows and a huge industrial coffee grinder on full display. There's another counter to order, with a few pastry options, and along another side wall, a rack of F&H clothes for purchase and the drink menus. (The aesthetic reminded me of Blue Bottle.) I ordered an iced Whiskey Vanilla Latte with oak milk and it was good! I couldn't taste any whiskey at all, and when I ordered the barista had mentioned this (cooked off so you wouldn't taste it) so it was a decent vanilla latte. I'll give them props for a really cool unique flavor. We all grabbed our drinks and headed (back through the hallway) into the other room with the seating area. There is a small section with a couch, otherwise lots of tables and chairs and I was glad it wasn't too crowded so we were able to grab a table. This was a great spot to grab coffee and meet up with friends. It's in a neat little downtown area in Wheaton, and they offer creative coffee drinks, with beans and merch to purchase.

When this happens, you want the person taking the order to express an interest in helping me make a decision, based off of what they've tried, feedback they've seen from past orders, and stuff like that. The worker seemed very much like, I just work here, attitude. So I got no help on what to order. Also, the reason I came here was because I saw on their website that they are top 100 coffee shop according to yelp. I didn't think anyone would lie about this, but MOTW is not on the 2025 list of top 100 coffee shops? https://www.yelp.com/article/top-100-coffee-shops-2025 So there is a chance this is just made up, or at the very least very outdated laurels that they're holding onto. I think on all fronts this was a poor culinary experience. Milk cake might not be my thing but I didn't enjoy it. The banana bread matcha basically tasted like if you grinded an actual banana bread into a purée and you were just drinking it, and with a hint of matcha I guess. Definitely don't order if you want a matcha. The caramel avalanche iced latte tasted like there's some kind of coffee base, and they basically tried to drown it out with caramel. I mean, what else did I expect from a drink with avalanche in its name? Except it didn't even taste sweet like there's barista promised, it just tasted very bitter and like there's flavor is drowned out by caramel and there was no coffee component. I went to another coffee shop in the area to confirm this, and the difference between this and a real caramel machiatto is night and day, I don't know what kind of person actually likes this drink or why it exists on the menu. A brief comment on the vibes, it's clean and there was a lot of seating, honestly a little Sus that there wasn't a lot of people there on a Sunday morning, I've seen other cafes in the area be far more packed, so that might also say something about how people feel.
