There is quite a big selection of items to choose from in addition to the burgers, particularly "chicken". One thing I was a bit disappointed with is that none of the vegan burger options are the traditional "veggie burger" selections rather they are all the processed vegan meat products which I do not particularly care for, but if you are fine with those, then the selection and preparation of them here are excellent. For starters, I am not vegan, nor am I vegetarian, so I hope that my review is helpful to those who are also in the same league as me. Here are my thoughts : 1. I don't know which one I like more the chicken tenders or their cheeseburger. They rank about the same. The fact that you can't really tell the difference between the vegan chicken tenders versus real chicken tenders is surprising. They taste, especially great with the ranch. I highly suggest that you eat the chicken tenders with a sauce. 2. As for their burger, I could taste the difference between their burger and a real burger. I'm not gonna sugarcoat anything. You can tell it's not real beef, but as for the taste, it was fine. I think if I became vegan or vegetarian, I can get away with eating their burgers. But can you tell the difference? Yes. Wow!!! Let me start by saying I am not vegan, but I am pescatarian. I don't eat fake meats often but I was really craving a burger. I had the bbq cheeseburger and man was it the absolute best I have ever had, even when I did eat meat! The texture of the burger was perfect, the onion ring added the perfect crunch and the bbq sauce had just the right flavors ( not too sweet, either a little kick). Also ordered the sweet potato fries and a side of ranch. Sweet potatoes were so good and the ranch tasted house made. Used the drive thru, the service was quick and easy. They have cruelty-free versions of all your favorite fast food sandwiches, like Big Macs, In-N-Out burgers, and Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwiches. They have a sign that tells you all the other great vegan restaurants near Santa Ana to share the love with other businesses. Lastly, you wont find better wings anywhere else. So, I was with a co-worker running errands in Santa Ana and meeting with a client. I'm a huge carnivore and she is vegan and extremely accommodating when choosing places to eat. As we were driving back to our last listing appt, we passed this place with the great big sign. What caught my eye was what appeared to be an old school mom and pop with a huge sign highlighting Burger and I was craving a spicy cheese burger. Then I saw 100% vegan and my cravings were dashed but, I offered to drive through so she could try it. When we got the to retro style menu, she was like a kid in a candy shop looking at all of the fast food style vegan options and couldn't decide what to choose. Sitting there waiting for what felt like an eternity, I decided to order here as I was becoming pretty hungry. I thought to myself, "how bad can a plant based burger with plant based cheese be?" Then I thought of some bad experiences I had but decided to order anyways. I was expecting my Jalapeño burger to be just ok but, was extremely disturbed and pleasantly surprised to actually start craving more of the burger as I was consuming it. That was one really good effin burger! Moments before the nice gentleman at the window, Don, asked who was the meat eater and who was the vegan and we disclosed it to him. We had a brief conversation on converting me to being a vegan and I said "not going to happen, as I love my almost raw steaks". I have to eat my words now after I ate their food as if I can find a place like this close to home with the flavor of this burger, I think I could change. Half the calories of the burger I was going to buy at a normal beef place and my body probably thanks me for not adding more cholesterol today. Sad to see this place go downhill. Great food but their dining area needs some work. There's no AC so it's always hot inside the restaurant. The bathroom was disgusting and needs attention. But at least their employees have great customer service. Additionally the owner let a partner of this location post racist and Trump propaganda on their ig page. A vegetarian friend introduced me to this place. Prices are a little extra than other spots, but it came out pretty quickly and the flavor was solid. Finally understand how he could stay fat as a vegetarian (his words, not mine!) Balanced flavor, they really made sure to nail the slight char flavor and meat juicyness. If I was paying very close attention, it is a tiny bit dryer than my usual burger spots, but I bet I'd mistake it for a real burger if these were being passed out in a cookout or something while I'm busy mingling. You know a place is good when you're sitting in the parking lot writing the review! I went here with my co-worker, who is not vegan. I was ridiculously excited in the drive thru and didn't know what to pick. I changed my order when I saw they had a Big Mac-esque burger called The Big Guy. Don who took our order was super nice and patient. I ordered The Big Guy with fries and my co-worker had the jalapeño burger with tater tots. Not only did it absolutely live up to my excitement and expectations, but my co-worker really liked it as well. He was happy with how low calorie it was compared to if he had gotten a non-vegan jalapeño burger somewhere else. He couldn't tell it was vegan. We've ordered vegan pizza for a meeting before and the cheese was awful due to its texture. Nice Burger's cheese tasted just like regular cheese and had the same texture. Oh and the ranch? Just as good if not better than regular ranch. They have a pretty big variety of all the fast food favorites. My all time favorite vegan fast food place! Vegan fast food has gone a long way in the past decades and for the longest time, it was hard finding a delicious vegan burger however Nice Burger has somehow perfected it. My go to item is the BBQ bacon cheeseburger which is so delicious, flavorful, smokey and closely imitates meat. The bacon in it is nice and crispy, overall amazing! I've also tried the chicken tenders which were good although sometimes, there is excess breading. As for the dessert, I got to try the carrot cake which was moist and decadent. Wow! Great place! Saw this on yelp while looking for vegan breakfast places in the area. They have breakfast burritos and breakfast sandwiches until 11am. Afterwards, you can get a breakfast burger! We came in around 1215 so our breakfast craving had passed. We ended up getting a Mexicali burger with sweet potato fries and a BBQ burger with tater tots. I also had a craving for the chicken nuggets. Wow! My bbq burger and tater tots were awesome! And my chicken nuggets were superb! It was fresh and hot and crispy. Two star because of the food! I'm not Vegan but during the season of Lent we don't eat meat on Fridays, so my wife and I decided to try this place. Wow what an experience...when we ordered the cashier ask if we'd like to make it a combo, ok sure let's upgrade to the combo. She asked what kind of side I wanted I said sweet potatoes fries and do I want to ADD a drink, I said I thought it was a combo, no we can ADD a drink. Why ask if I want a combo if we still have to ADD a drink? I did! While sitting and enjoying the food, I over heard the same say to another guest "I added more fries for you, nothing wrong with that people are nice. Then across from us were two other guest and another male employee walk over to them and said I threw in some drinks for you guys here you go! It's nice to have these vegan options near me. I came here after finishing my fast with the intent to go big -- so I got myself the Big Guy Burger Combo (comes with a side, a sauce, and a drink). I opted to go through the drive-thru, which was way easy. No one else was in line, it was perfect. I quickly got my combo and drove a few streets down to consume this great meal. The Big Guy Burger looks very similar to the Big Mac from McDonald's, and tastes almost exactly like it! It was delicious, and probably twice the size of a Bic Mac. I was hungry so it took me around 2 minutes to finish the entire burger. For my sauce I chose chipotle, just because I knew I'd use it for the fries. A wonderful choice. That chipotle sauce was bomb. It made my fries that already tasted good, taste even better. I ate everything :). Lastly, for my drink I got a diet cola. Nothing special there. It came with a strange straw that eventually split down the middle on its own, seems to be some environmentally friendly straw or something.. but it's whatever haha. Today was my first visit! I liked the fact that they had tater tots a lot of fast food don't offer. I wanted a mushroom burger made with just mushroom but the option was to get the mushroom melt minus the fake meet burger patty and minus the fake processed cheese. I got my burger and right off noticed the bun was not toasted. The mushroom and onion mixture had no flavor and was not seasoned, the tomato and lettuce tasted fresh. The tater tots also had no seasoning or salt so tasted bland. The two sauces I got honey mustard and ranch were not cold like they had been sitting out of refrigerator. Over all I really wanted to like this place it's close to my work and would be a recurring customer, unfortunately the cost of the product didn't Match the taste. I eat here more than I should, at least once every 2 weeks or so. I almost always get the spicy chicken sandwich and have yet to be disappointed.
